Gohan over the course of Dragon Ball Z was defined by his rage. This allowed Gohan to access a power that he was barely even aware of - a power that many others refer to as Gohan’s own power. Characters like Piccolo even claim that they can train Gohan to control this rage, but in Piccolo’s case - he failed to do so before the Saiyans arrived? Today I ask what would have happened had Piccolo not failed - what if Piccolo gave Gohan the ability to use this power before the Saiyans arrive? What if Gohan could control his rage in Dragon Ball Z?

I love the completed tournament. Feels like a proper ending. The interactions with Videl, Piccolo, and Goku are heart warming and show his growth with characters important to his growth and future development.
when he was battling cell he sorta controlled his power, he was also a savage too
But that's the point - he may not have been out of control like when he attacked Radditz, but he was consumed by his rage to the point where he was taking pleasure from torturing Cell rather than finishing him off, despite everyone present begging him to.
Not gonna lie, I really liked that ending.

Please continue this story I feel like there’s opportunity for some growth, not only for Gohan but also for Goten and Trunks too, Haven’t gotten that speech from Vegeta I feel like they’ll actually try to push themselves beyond their limits, great job on this one man so much hype
One thing I noticed:
In the original, they agreed to not use Super Sayen, which is why Krillin and I think a few others agreed to participate in the first place.
If no one goes ssj Piccolo would win the tournament with shin in second place and 18 third then all the saiyans and finally Krilin
@@adrianaardila1321no. Piccolo was considered disposable. Meanwhile saiyans were impressive by babidi and babidi had no idea about ssj

I love this it's done really well and I love someone FINALLY acknowledging Gohan not being angry against Super Perfect Cell at first. In my mind that's why he took more damage from Cell's blast.
I like this...like a lot! Definitely definitely definitely needs a part 2. I mean with the way everything turned out and how you closed the story lol it was kinda something like a movie. You know a really good movie sometimes deserves a continuation and I personally feel that there are so many interesting possibilities that can be imagined. If Gohan could control his rage and had actually harnessed it to an innately natural degree, then Gohan would have become the most fearsome warrior that the universe would have ever seen. Just imagine 1990’s savage DBZ Broly with the pure heart of 2019 DBS Broly.

@Justin Nowaczynski Never stated. Goku and Gohan perfected ssj to the point were it was like them being in base form. The simple reason he didnt is because Toriyama didn't think of it. Toei did both times in the pikkon filler and in DBS
@Justin Nowaczynski Bro calm down, it's just Dragonball... Even when having a dead body they still feel pain. You're speculating on how Ki works, you haven't said anything that's been said. After Goku's fight with Hit he had trouble controlling his actions even with "calm and controlled" god ki. Your trying to explain some of Dragonballs dumbass writing when their isn't a real explanation for it. And they do lose stamina fighting in their god States Whis pointed that out in the Universe 6 tournament, it probably was the manga version but the point still stands
Toriyama didn't plan too far ahead when writing DB, and Toei is just gonna do whatever looks and sounds the coolest.

Kaio-ken along with the rage of the super-saiyan form is dangerous, it would likely cause goku to loose control of kaio-ken, causing massice damage to his body.
@@kylestuart3216 Goku and Gohan mastered the ssj form, when they leave the Room of spirit and time characters a commenting on how thier ki feels like they're in base form.
Edit: Vegeta specifically says "Its like... its their natural state"

The thing people miss about Cell Games Super Saiyan 2 Gohan is that the 100x multiplier was on top of his gigantic rage boost, which is why Perfect Cell's full power and buff forms were nothing to him.

Instant fan of your work. Anyway, I had this idea that I hope you would use for one of your videos in the near future...
What if Goku and Gohan each kept their tails??
Akira Toriyama himself stated that the original reason the tails weren't included after the Saiyan Saga (Let alone for Trunks and Goten) was that he simply forgot about the tails.
Goten and Trunks would NOT get tails though, much like in canon. I like the idea of the Tails being a recessive trait, thus making it rare for Half-Saiyans to be born with a tail with Gohan being the only example of a Half-Saiyan with a tail.
Plus, despite the flack Super Saiyan 4 receives in some of the forums I browse, I actually love the form. It just looks so wild and cool!
Although it would exist here under a different name, I think. I'd call it the "Primal Saiyan" form since, to me, it's essentially a mix between the Super Saiyan and Oozaru/Great Ape forms.
So... do you think that you could do such a "What If" video?? Please?

Have you considered that part where Nappa was going up against Piccolo and Krillin. They essentially planned an attack that only failed because Gohan was too scared to blast Nappa. Vegeta even said that he would of died if Gohan had succeeded. Not to mention that in his enraged status he was able to go up against 3rd form frieza, Racoom would have been no problem, heck even Ginyu. And if he had controll of his rage he would have discovered super saiyan earlier.
