Spraying Mardis Gras Pearl over Desert Tan (Sleeper Magic)

Ever since we sprayed my RS6 Avant in Desert Tan, I've wondered what Desert Tan would look like with the right Colorshift Pearl over the top of it. I think Mardis Gras is the perfect pearl - a super saturated interference white based pearl that shoots off purples, blues, greens and even pink. What do you guys think of the combo?

It looks great! I do feel like a cooler base color would work better for it though. Maybe an ice blue? Or you could go opposite and spray it over Lime green for a crazy effect!
This is sick, I really like it! And I did not expect it to look this
I'm not a huge fan of the desert tan, I'm more of a bright color fan but this pearl coat looks really good with it. It reminds me of a raw abalone shell from the gulf.
This turned out way better than I expected. I love that it's different.
i think if he put it on a gold it would have looked so good or maybe something just a bit brighter than the desert tan

SAME! I was thinking of putting this over a matte, slate blue-grey color, so it would look like a rainbow-luminous storm cloud! I bet that would be gorgeous 😁
with that colorshift it became kinda like a gold finish, looks so interesting that you need to look at it and ask yourself all the time "is this even real" like it a lot!

This is eerie. Wildly weird. I was thinking about this exact thing the last few days. I live in the mountainous southwest, and I love everything about my landscape, and I was wondering how I could capture the colors of Colorado in a paintjob. The desert tans, the dark, subtle greens, and of course, the distant purple mountain majesty. I was thinking about a purple pearl over a tan and when I saw this today, I thought I must still be asleep. No way. This is amazing. I want this. Absolutely stunning.
I wasn't too sure about it at first but I actually really like it! The tan looks so beautiful with the pinks, blues, and purples!
This reminds me of when you would play racing video games and would design some crazy ass color you knew would be next to impossible to replicate, meanwhile Fonzie over here with his sprayer ready to go...

Subtle, a “boring tan” car with pop, the shift in color actually complimented the tan. I really didn’t catch any green hues though, mostly pink to purplish

I didn't think it would come out bad, but dang that's way more amazing than I thought it would be. It's a bit like a mirage you'd see when in the desert. That's a paint job I'd totally love rocking on my car.

That is INSANE! Insanely weird, but insane nonetheless! It's almost like the pearl turned the tan into gold, but kept the bluish purple pearl effect. I have never seen a color like that in my life, you definitely made something one of a kind!
