    This DIY project is all about creating a mini UPS that can help you power your electronic devices during power outages or other situations where you need an uninterrupted power supply. With just a few simple steps, you can convert a 12V lead acid battery into a high-capacity lithium-ion battery that can provide reliable power for hours on end.
    The key components of this project include a DC-DC buck converter and a battery management system, which work together to regulate the voltage and current of the battery and ensure that it is operating safely and efficiently. By swapping out the lead-acid battery for a lithium-ion one, you can significantly increase the battery's capacity and lifespan, allowing you to power even more devices for longer periods of time.
    With the right tools and a bit of technical know-how, creating your own mini UPS can be a fun and rewarding project that gives you greater control over your power supply and helps you stay connected no matter what. So why not give it a try and see just how powerful your DIY skills can be?

    You have to use a thick wire for its input and output 😅

    Nice little project! For longevity, i would go with JB Weld over hot glue, as hot glue has low static hold and almost no dynamic load

    Come si sta comportando la batteria? Basta semplicemente sostituirla oppure occorre una interfaccia elettronica? Mi spiego, le batterie al piombo hanno il vantaggio di nascere per essere stabilmente in carica mentre le litio lavorano bene nel range 20/80% di accumulo, magari dovrebbe esserci un meccanismo intelligente che la stacca dalla rete di tanto in tanto.
    Grazie

    How did you dispose of the internal components (both solid and liquid) of the lead acid battery?

    Very neat video! At about 2:30 you begin using your "DIY Spot Welder". How did you make that, and what material are you using to spot weld to and between the cells?

      @cubityt  Před rokem +1

      I purchased this product from Daraz. Here i am using a nickel strip for connecting the battery terminal. In this spot Welding machine you need to provide UpTo 15 amps current supply for better spot welding. Thank you 💓

    The title contains clickbait '20 hours' backup. Backup what? For the load of how many watts ? Can you prove it?

    • @cubityt
      @cubityt  Před rokem

      It's about 24 hours of backup brother. I have been using it for 2 months. Every single cell is 2000mah +

      @@cubityt I don't mean theoriticaly. For example, I am using my UPS for 2 32 inch monitors, 1 stereo aktif speakers, 1 Dell laptop adapters, and 1 30 watt room fan. The UPS is currently using a new 45 AH acid battery and it could only hold for max of 4 hours. If your claim is true, I would really love to switch to lithium ion.
