Good review, I've got one myself. I've been beating the heck out of it and it's holding up well. I actually don't like the striker in the bottom of the handle as it's not as comfortable to use as the spine for Ferro rod or planing wood. The plastic sheath is also tough and fits snuggly.
Thanks Clint! Yea it's a great knife, I don't use the botton either, just there as an option I guess, I agree it doesn't beat the spine 👍 I do like that plastic sheath too, might pick one up for another option (looks like it has great retention).
Great video and great knife. I have a few Moras. Really like them. And thank you for the survival necklace/fire starting necklace that I won in your contest! My daughter is so excited and can't wait to use it to make our first fire in our new apartment. Unfortunately, I live in Los Angeles and we are under a residential fire restrictions. Meaning, it's so dry, and the Santa Ana winds are about to start up, so we can't make fires at home, even in a fireplace. Just one of the joys of living in LA. haha. But that you and great video!
Thanks man, and I'm glad you like it! Ah, that's a bummer, but yea it makes sense due to the dry climate. Hopefully you can get some use out of it at some point 👍 Thanks for watching 😁
It can handle that with ease. It's the perfect thickness to process wood from start to finish. It's not stupidly thick so that it cuts lame but it's still plenty strong enough to do almost anything with. Imo it's the perfect thickness.
hello great video! i plan on getting the same knife you have in this video currently i have the bushcraft black and i love it but i wish it was full tang im also gonna sub like and turn notifications on :)
Both are great, and have their advantages and disadvantages over one another. SS will stain less, but will be harder to sharpen than HC Steel, and HC steel can also be use as a striker for flint and steel fires (both can be used for a ferro-rod fire though). Can't go wrong with either in general

I like that thing. I was wondering if it could handle a hit to the spine. Nice review
Yea it's a beast, thanks brother! 👍

I wish it had a finger guard.
Yea that'd be a nice addition. Pretty perfect otherwise. Thanks for watching!
Finger guard is for kids fyi , All the top pros use a Garberg and never requested a finger guard. Kids knives come with finger guards
@@cocovasquez1 That's why all the top pros are missing an index finger.
