Took Baiken off the practice squad couple days ago and went pretty well. Sol, Nago, (surprisingly) HC seemed slightly in Baiken favor (2-1 average). May at first seemed slightly in Baiken favor until the May's went into panic mode jumping all over the place floppin around throwing disjointed hurt boxes everywhere so ended about even. Gio was rough definitely 1-2 average Gio favor as she usually made me regret touching any button. And Potemkin made me hate life prolly was 2-8 average Pot, but whatever was fun 10/10 fun would get HPB'd for the memes again.
I would say Gio is even, but I played her and know her super well. Potemkin is by far Baiken's worse match up and had me thinking I should switch back to Gio if I ever have to play one.

For those wondering what happened to the music: The game normally sets a flag to cut the music the moment the match ends, but rollback tricked the game into thinking the match was over when it wasn't.

Oki is short for Okizemi. Which generally refers to the pressure you get to place on an enemy after knocking them down. Gap closing, air dashing, whatever it might be. It's often for "meaty" set up but not always. "Meaty" refers to attack an enemy from knock down generally in the frame or frames they are no longer invulnerable. Making it so that any attempt to attack on wake up just results in counter hit. Counter hits just means the meaty was poorly timed by a frame or two frequently. So okizemi is your positioning and attack plan on knockdown for wakeup. Meaty is the specific attack on wake up.
I played Baiken now a lot for the past weeks and I really like her a lot. But I think her gameplan is rather restrictive. And people claimed she is a more offensive character now which is true compared to rev2 Baiken but still her true potential lies in her defensive tools, knowing what to look out for and parrying + rc setups.
