There is another problem with B450 motherboards. Some motherboards don't come with the latest BIOS version for 3rd gen Ryzen processors and some motherboards need an older version processor to update the BIOS. If you want to buy a B450 motherboard, buy one which has the BIOS flashback feature.

I'm on that 10% category who wants build a budget / mid-range gaming pc but I have not that much of knowledge on which motherboard to choose that will last 3-4 years if I upgrade my processor, which processor will be best intel or Ryzen and about many other components too. As I have a Intel i5 laptop I don't have much idea about Desktop components i.e., which will be better Intel or Ryzen.

I had made a mistake in MB. I had taken a basic A320m-k for my ryzen 7 2700x. And Since i had a xpg rgb ssd it was hiding under my gpu. So then i went for b450m-a and now im much happier. Also i got 4ram slots where before i had 2.😄😄

Go for msi b450 gaming pro carbon ac
If you are on a tight budget you can go with asrock pro4, if you can increase your budget to around 10k i would suggest to go with msi gaming plus max (its almost identical to msi tomahawk max except the usb c port, and you will get a regular usb A 3.2 gen 2 port also). If you want the best b450 you should go with the gaming pro carbon which has many additional features like built in wifi & bluetooth etc. But it cost around 14-15k.
Imo the best value for money b450 motherboard is the msi gaming plus max (9-10k) which you can get 2000rs cheaper than tomahawk (11-12k) and provide similar features and quality vrms

@@futurity2065 the 3300x can run on msi pro vdh max but both gaming plus max and tomahawk max are superior boards compared to it. Both of them have way better vrms temperatures for overclocking, have additional features like usb 3.2 gen 2 (means 3.1) ports, support for higher ram speeds, more sata 3 ports, pcie gen 3 support etc.
So i won't recommend the vdh max unless you are on a very tight budget
