this was the same case when I was building my pc- CPU:5800X3D and I wanted ROG B550F as my motherboard. The shopkeeper belittled me for this and practically forced me to buy the gigabyte B450 and change my GPU from AMD to Nvidia, even though this 'GPU upgrade' would lower my VRAM and I didnt have any use of the CUDA cores.
You're video got me thinking that maybe they are paid a commission for this specific gigabyte B450 motherboard because why else would they shill this board so hard?

while noticing changes in cpu frequency. Note that cheap motherboard affect clock speed of gpu and there for required 30-55% more vram on gpu.

yes u can go for b550 motherboard, but this motherboard doest not support AM5 socket/ DDR5, i would suggest you to go for b650 motherboard, then you can further upgrade it to DDR5 RAMs
Main apna pc khud assemble karta hun.. mera ek rule hai.. CPU ke cost lo, uska at least 66% cost motherboard pe lagana chahiye.. ek acha motherboard jisme chipset cpu ke saare IO lanes ko support karna hi chahiye..
Motherboard and the chipset are actually equally important as CPU selection... CPU, RAM, GPU change ho sakta hai.. motherboard pe zyada research kariye. B550 ke liye Ryzen 5800x best hai.. 5900 ya 6900 series ke liye B560 and above.. must hai.
I was using 5700x on a a320 Mobo 💀💀 from past 1 year although i didn't had any issues with it because i only do casual gamin and now i have upgraded my mobo to a b550 initially i was thinking ki chal to raha hai mai ku kharcha kar raha hu but after seeing ur video i think i have made good decision thanks for this informative videos bhaiya🙏

Best advice, don't go for the cheapest motherboard and don't go for the most expensive motherboard, find something that is in the middle of the road which isn't too expensive. Those motherboards give same results, except we are talking about extreme hardcore overclocking which a normal person would never do

Good Video Brother, But There are some missing keypoints.
1) B450 have PCIe Gen 3 x4 Lanes that connect the CPU to South Bridge (PCH). (its bidirectional speed is 4GBPS) while X570 uses PCIe 4.0 x4 Lanes (8GBPS and at half the latency).... Now the issue here is these 0.1 lows sometimes due to Dar seeking from. Storage from PCH to CPU via this already loaded lane (that is carrying your data from USB, Sound Card, Wifi, Ethernet, System Manager data etc... Generally it causes 3-5% Performance Degradation.. with heavy titles like RDR2...
2) VRM size, Configuration that is written on Boxes is just straight up lies.... Eg Soms old gigabyte boards Claimed to be 6-8-10 phase motherboards.. (which they are not), they use technique called, Phase Doubling... they use A T-FlipFlop Chip that Splits one phase into 2, The problem here is, a) Transient Response of VRM is still poor, Increased cost (that is managed by using poor MOSFETs and Capacitors) and Low switching Frequency... Ie issue(sort of) in. Load line calibration.... Good side is.. Phase Doubled VRMs distributes power into 2 Virtual phases (originally 1) so large surface area meams better heat transfer..
3) Quality of components and caps on motherboards are often ignored.. while they can cause damage to your other components over the time.. due to failing Cap..
And many more reasons..

I think he’s lying. VRAM usage is very different for the same game between the two motherboards. A motherboard isn’t going to cause the game to consume more VRAM.
@@BroderickNorthmoor Well Modern Motherboard, Memory Usage is heavily dependent to the type of board, Performance and availability of resources.. This might be true that VRM usage is different in both cases.. because Motherboard with slower I/O bus will use more resources for Leveraging the Stress on Slow buses... Again it depends on games, API (like DX12, 11, Vulkan Etc) it's a big topic... How Resources are used and optimised..

I would suggest having two Ram sticks and a 1tb nvme. Trust me, 1tb makes a great difference (for long time usage)

Mera atleast 21-22 saal ka experience raha computer ke field me. CPU aap koi sa bhi choose kar rahe ho, uss se matching specs ka motherboard aur RAM speed jarur hona chahiye. Mai ye nhi keh raha ki 10 hazar ke cpu ke saath 60 hazar ka motherboard lo. Lekin inn teeno me ek dusre ko bottleneck na paida kare.
For example maine 2011 me i3 2100 CPU ke saath H61MDS2 motherboard aur DDR3 1333 MHz ka kingston ka RAM use kiya thha.
Isse kam ya jyada ka specs use karunga toh paise ki barbadi hai. Overall jaisa budget waisa PC build karna chahiye. Corners cut karne ka kaam companies ka hai, hum jaise enthusiasts ka nhi.

this info is good and decent but .... still there is differrence in price is massive like literally massive ..... you are talking about heating and sudden shutdown .. i have oldest i7 3rd gen and rtx 2060 you would be knowing how bottlenecking i am doing using this . i also run my pc 24/7 in non AC env. one 15-20 days i shut down once . i played tomb raider and rdr2 in medium graphics i had to heating issue and no sudden shut down .. and if you are getting all this issues by using high end processor and low end motherboard than your windows optimisation is very weak you dont know things on windows.
Bro just a quick question - will undervolting the processors on these motherboards will improve this 1% low situation. Essentially motherboard is throttling back cpu to preserve low tier vrm in those boards.
So will undervolting the cpu mitigate or slightly improve this situation?

Usne na socket ki baat ki na chipset ki.. bas keh rha thha naya motherboard lagega.. 5 Hazar ka hai, mujhe pura yakin tha ki mother board lagane ke baad kehta ki ye CPU nhi lagega, fir CPU bhi dusra lene ke liye force karta

Bro i have a budget CPU Ryzen 3 3100 and RX570 8gb. My GPU is 3 years old and is about to die now. In almost every game its crossing 80C temperature. I am planning to buy new gpu. Which gpu should i go for. RX6600 or RTX 3060. If i go with 3060, will it bottleneck with my CPU?

But I think the B450 should be fine with something like a 3700x or a 5600. And RTX 20 series gpus
But the problems might arise whe you use something like an RTX 4060 or an RX 7600 which have pcie gen 4 x 8 lanes and the mobo has gen 3 x 16.
You might lose some performance there.
The best feature abt the B450M PRO VDH MAX is its debug LED. It has helped me a tonne while troubleshooting xD
