I found usefulll to create the separe views from every state/floor: "Existing, demolished, and complete". So I dont have to changing everytime what I want to see.

Great tutorial. do you have a tutorial that shows how you would create different views that are then placed on sheets? I usually just duplicate the view and change the phase stings, I was just wondering if you would do it any differently. Thank YOu!

Very informative and detailed tutorial Sir Balkan. Sir can you make an in depth tutorial that shows the difference between using "Design Options" and "Phases". Many Thanks for the tireless teaching as usual about Revit. More Power & God Bless. I will wait for that topic... Thank You Sir Balkan...

Fantastic Tutorial! Thank you so much for sharing! Do you happen to have a video for alterative scopes phasing etc? For example: renovating a home and showing option a floor plan which is lower in budget and then option b floor plan that is higher in budget?

Hi I already posted this on another video, this seems more relevant - could you make a tutorial where you retro fit external insulation in Revit project phases, please? At this moment I build another wall (insulation and render layers only) next to the original wall but this seems like another "masking region" workaround. Replacement of sills and windows in retrofit project with external insulation is also a pain in the neck - at this moment I use cut-outs / opening in new added insulation "wall", so then I'm able to see the new phase window which is flush with and still embedded in the old wall. Please tell me there is better way.

What if we need to cut out a piece of roof or floor, for example beacause of adding new staircase? I cant find my way around it. Architecture openings dont seem to work in phases. If I do an opening it shows in all phases for some reason :/

Can you demonstrate what ceilings look like in this phasing process? I am seeing the change in what is shown, but in the Existing + demo view the ceiling does not show in dashed lines. It is not what I would like to see. I am not finding any ceiling demo topic in any of the videos at all. Thanks for you help.

How would you add a demolition plan to a sheet set? It's the same view as existing and new, and you can't add multiple instances of the same view.

Great video as always. Splittimg the walls above the new floor so only a portion gets demolished will 'help me out a lot'. Is it possible to split an existing roof into parts in the same way, for example, you could have left the small hipped roof in place instead of the balcony? Last thing, please make a video on the other two tabs in phasing 'phase filters and graphic overides', they are quite confusing. Thanks a lot

Poštovani Miloš, trenutno radim veliki projekt renovacije postojeće zgrade od 10 spratova. U tvom filmu nedostaje prikaz pravljenja novog u postojećem podu.

Hi Balkan Architect, I have some question with regards in phasing. What if there are 4 design options and let say in Option 1, I demolish some part in the building and in Option 2 the demolished part in Option 1 shows in Option 2 and in Option 3, the demolished part in Option 1 and 2 are shows in Option 3 and same with Option 4. Can we do that in Revit?

Really awesome tutorial. Though I wonder, coz I have worked on many phasing projects, and in all of them I had objects which had to be assigned to several phases. But most revit tutorials merely categorize the objects to existing new and demolished etc.. It doesn't really take the time line into consideration where overlap could happen...because one activity takes longer than the other. For example at week 1 I could be demolishing one side of a building, then at week 2 i could be starting excavations at another side but still demolishing is going on at the other part of week1at week 2. So this is why I'm asking how can I assign two phases like phase week 1and phase week 2 to one object area?is that possible with revit?have I missed something?
