Add wig clips to hats you don't want to fly away in the wind. I went to a really windy ren faire with a big witch hat and it stayed on all day with those babies.

I've been wanting to make one of these, but in miniature for jewelry charms. I might end up using the green connecting piece of faux floral stems or leafy bead caps. Either way, flower fairy hats are adorable and forever have my heart.

I made a sunflower hat using this tutorial, it was so helpful and easy and came out so cute! I added some wire under the petals to help them hold their shape a bit more. I used a wide brimmed hat as a base so the petals are longer. Speed running your channel lately while I craft, getting so many ideas for future fairs! Loving your videos!
This turned out so cute 😍🎉 I made one of these a few month ago and got addicted and made a whole bunch plus matching ones for my little nephew 🤭🤣

That hat is perfect! I had a face palm moment when you used the modge podge! My idea would have been to wire the petals which would have meant either zigzag stitches or a teeny rolled hem or both. Your way was easier.

If you don’t want to use elastic you could sew in hair combs to help secure it or loops for a head band?
Some good ideas! Someone recommended sewing in some ribbon to tie under my chin as an option too and that might be cute if I use some green ribbon or a leafy ribbon 🥰

That looks so beautiful. If you're worried about the hat flying off, what if you get or make, hat pins and on the end have butterflies, ladybugs, dragonflies on the ends, so it'll look like they're flying around your flower hat😊
