Local contractor had so many chances to change their attitude, but they are not changing; the area down by where the little water fall is, show that no engineering went into the complex work needed, base on that work they are not ready...

That was the unfinished section, it was not damaged

the local contractors' work under the contract should have been inspected by the contracting authority and a certificate given at each phase. No payment can be made to the contractor without that certificate. Now that this happened after the hurricane, the local contractor cannot be held responsible. The inspecting authority must be held accountable..
. I have seen videos where work was reportedly finished and all excess construction materials were left on the verges to create a hazard to pedestrians

Actually the section you are driving through which was sectioned out to local contractors was not damaged by the hurricane.
The major issue there is that the section was never done. The question that should be asked is why are they taking such an extraordinary long time to finish the section alloted to them.
The NWA should be pushing them to finish it ,and provide updates as to reason for the unfinished section in Yallahs, and a reasonable timeframe of when the section should be completed.

Greetings. What U are stating in this video about the damage done to the road from Beryl is NOT ENTIRELY ACCURATE. That section in Yallahs was indeed done by local contractors but IT WAS NEVER COMPLETED. Those craters U are seeing in the roads were there BEFORE the hurricane. What I will attest to though is that there ARE sections of the roadway done by local contractors that are POORLY DONE & are already giving way. My question is - Is the PM reeeeally gonna have a big ribbon-cutting ceremony for this POOR WORKMANSHIP? I traverse this roadway everyday btw.

Don't worry; the contractors in your comments will just say we should pay more taxes to help them "learn" how to fatten their pockets at our expense by rebuilding the road.

I think it’s all that debris that they left on the side of the road that washed back unto the road, then motorists drove on it subsequently causing the damage
