Good question because no it actually doesn’t work with all magmas. Does not work with the magma wyrm’s scale sword.

​@brocklessman this man is lying, you can get both in one playthrough. One from the dragon priest quest, another later on in the dlc (i dont rememeber where exactly but i actively use both cus dragon build and im not on ng+), but there are videos that could help you find it
