  • We are going through a tough period in our life right now, and there is nothing better than making our own immune booster from the ingredients we should have at our places. For this Immune Booster number 1 I will use the following ingredients in the same proportions:
    Dates
    1. Great source of antioxidants, dried dates contain polyphenols - just like green tea.
    2. good for blood sugar balance, due to its low glycemic impact
    3. help reduce blood pressure. five or six dates provide about 80 milligrams of magnesium.
    4. Contains Cholin Each little date contains over two milligrams of choline, which is a brain booster that gives a better memory.
    5. help maintain bone mass. One dried date contains140mg Potassium, that helps regulate the amount of calcium being transferred to our bones.
    Prunes ( dried plums)
    1. Source of Antioxidants. These fruits contain vitamin C and phytonutrients.
    2. Manages Diabetes. The flavonoids present in plums exert protective effects against insulin resistance in the body.
    3. Prevent Osteoporosis. Consumption of dried plums exerts anabolic and anti-resorptive actions, which aid in maintaining healthy bones.
    4. Aid in Digestion. They are a good source of dietary fiber, along with the components sorbitol and isatin, which help in regulating the digestive system.
    5. Healthy Nervous System. Plums contain vitamin B6, which helps in the transmission of nerve signals and aids in the smooth functioning of the nervous system.
Apricots, due to Vitamin A are vital for the following aspects:
    1. Encourage cell growth
    2. Build up the immune system
    3. Maintain good vision
    4. Keep bones healthy
    5. Assist in reproduction
    Raisins
    1. They contain good amounts of iron, copper, and vitamins that are essential for making red blood cells and carrying oxygen throughout the body.
    2. Prevents cramping
    3. Help with digestion
    4. Fight again cancer cells
    5. Protect Eye cells
    Walnut
    1. Omega 3 or Alpha-linoleic Acid
    2. Vitamin E, antioxidant
    3. Support healthy aging, fights against Dementia
    4. Our brains love walnuts.
    Lemon
    1. Lowering stroke risk.
    2. Vitamin C. which is an Antioxidant, that may help prevent free radicals from causing cell damage that can lead to cancer.
    3. Skin Health. Vitamin C plays a vital role in the formation of collagen, the support system of the skin.
    4. Preventing asthma. People with asthma who consume higher amounts of vitamin C and other nutrients when they have a cold may experience fewer asthma attacks,
    5. Protect Against Anemia. Squeezing a little lemon juice onto a salad containing baby spinach leaves can help maximize the intake of both iron and vitamin C.
    Honey
    1. Antioxidant, protects your heart
    2. Lowering blood pressure
    3. Improves cholesterol level
As I said in the video this is not a panacea from the pandemic situation right now, but we need to help our bodies to get the right amount of macro and micronutrients. By just adding one teaspoon of my Immune Booster number 1 to your daily routine will help you to fight against the virus!
Don’t touch your face. Experience social distancing and stay safe!
