- More efficient model for original perpetual motion design (WITH WORKINGS), created by Christopher Antoniou: • Original "Perpetual Mo...
A near perpetual motion machine (design with extremely low dissipation of energy, still constrained by 1st/2nd laws of thermodynamics) using purely gravitational energy (steep slopes) and two even heavy spheres on an asymmetrical pivot. In this self-sustaining system the weighted curvature on the longer side of the pivot (acting as counterweight, Archimedes lever) allows one sphere to raise the platform - yet also simultaneously return the platform back to origin whilst progressing underneath the curve as the other sphere falls gently on a stepped tier perfectly timed ready for the next cycle. A rotating tube on an axle is attached to the left platform for seamless re-entry of the spheres.

perpetual motion machine that resets Itself - Věda a technologie
If it can't start on its own in the beginning, it won't start on its own for the second cycle. It's just not efficient enough, Even with much more precision and lower friction design, it will only achieve one cycle.
Let's say even if it works for the first cycle, it will only do a couple of cycles as friction and air resistance will stop it.
Dude his channel is made to simulate it
read his about page
Can't said better myself.
At the beginning the moving parts have four supports. In "automatic mode", a fifth leg is hidden between the legs, which is used for the drive. If you look closely, there is a little hole in the table top through which the fifth leg leads down. The non-soft movements suggest a manual drive.
He mentions a tube on an axle in the video description. I thought it would be able to run a couple times from the initial energy used to start it, but it looks like this would not work.
I think its even simpler than that. Notice his pockets have something in them during the demonstration. He rocks from side to side each cycle; there is possibly fishing line connected to it such that he can pull it down or release it.
@@ABW941 It's not the tube we are seeing, it's another clear vertical piece running up to the top ramp between the back two vertical supports (close the pivot), that appears to be going through the table and moving up and down to move the top ramp.
The description states that there is a device for returning balls. The problem is that the ball at the bottom right and the ball at the top center do not cause any imbalance. It would be necessary to solve so that the upper ball could roll spontaneously to the left end of the lever (swings). The external force required for this could indeed be very small. The model in the video requires a relatively large external force to create an imbalance.
That's true
That was some real "smooth" perpetual motion action
LOL
This channel is probably the best at reinventing invisible remote contol
There is no remote control but thanks anyway))
@@veproject1 so this is manual
Hahahahahahahahaha 😂😂😂
"Still confined" he literally says it, this isn't supposed to be real, it's just showing the theory
Thanks for reading description
@@veproject1 So it isn't "using purely gravitational energy" then, is it.
Not being confined means acknowledges that it's not a perpetual motion machine, however this machine isn't moving because of the marbles tho, it's pumped. Like think for a second, why wouldn't the lever drop before the bottom marble rolls onto the other side
@@boflator yeah and notice closely the initial configuration: he had to push the upper lever to start the machine, but when the system resets to the original configuration at the end of a cycle, he doesn't need to push the upper lever again. If somehow the initial energy given in the form of "push" is conserved, it'd have made sense but there's nothing apparent that it's getting conserved, as the upper ball basically goes to rest before the beginning of next cycle and the lower ball at max, can apply a horizontal jerk in the right direction, which won't be able to start the next cycle
A rotating Earth is much more of a PMM than this design.
You can see when it looks like it's running by itself, in the middle there is another clear bit of plastic that runs down through to under the table.
Very funny trick. I can see your trousers moving in time with the cycle of the arm mechanism.
watch it in slow motion.. if the ball in the top is pressing the lever due of gravity, why is it waiting till the other ball reaches the end of lifting lever...
Its not on a "rocking chair" as someone else mentioned... Its peddle powered. After the cut, there is a new leg added behind and to the right of the central pivot that you can see move in time with his right leg to actuate the motion. Which explains the rocky motion and mistimed movement. It also explains why a marble that isn't pushing against the counterweight would not actuate the motion, but one with the counterweight did
Simple and Spectacular... Thanks.
Glad you like it!
It's beautiful
Foot-powered perpetual motion machine!
Another nice model and demonstration.
Many thanks!
STILL LOVE YOUR WORK AS USUAL THANKYOU VERY NICE PIECE
I know perpetual motion is not possible. But it is wonderful to see ur artwork. Keep it up 💪 👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
el sistema se mueve antes de que la bola llegue a su punto maximo , en camara lenta se ve clarito , entonses de donde saca la enregia para moverce el pendulo.
So when the two balls are at their starting position initially, you need your hand to start the cycle. But later when the two balls are back at the same starting positions they just miraculously start the cycle on their own… hmmm
If the mass of the ball at 1:12 did not actuate the machine, I highly doubt it would do it repeatedly an automatic mode
Congratulations to all! You have solved the mystery of how this machine works.
1. At the end, during the “illusion stage”, you notice a 5th plastic rod has suddenly appeared, and attached to the pivoting platform.
2. Odd how his body moves in a rocking motion, left to right and left again, in sequence to the pivot rocking up then down.
3. Why is he using coloured cardboard on his table? Hiding much?
4. Oh yeah, that white hole in the cardboard that the 5th rod extends into, that is somehow attached to the body so movement affects its rise and fall.
… and you still had to read every point.
Even though it makes noise and creates heat do to friction at the joints, it keeps going! So it gains energy out of nowhere! AMAZING...................
Watch carefully the last frame of the video and see why it won't work forever.
Watch his hands and arms. They never move after the machine starts. It appears that after one cycle of the machine they have just repeated that part of the video over and over and over and over
Wha? Lookon the balls, they are painted so you can see it's not a loop
Look when the video ends, it failed to stop the second ball
funny how the ball waits for the other before it starts to tip the pivot point, i guess it forgets it has mass and potential for a second before it suddenly remembers and becomes kinetic lol
Hey can we make something like a machine out of this using friction and it's energy to move on its own?
Fascinating! Do you ever sell? I would love to buy this one.
Look carefully at the right arm. There is a slight movement of the arm that is synchronized with the pendulum. After Effects perpetual mobile.
Yeah, that's it! Bravo!

Amazing. Impossible-Like, very cool

Nice work. U have done a lot of hardwork in hiding motors, batteries or maybe antennas.
Yes, you are right))))
@@veproject1 foot peddle? Hehehe
It's like a good magic trick. Look for things that aren't transparent, in this mostly transparent construction. The ball rest has a magnet in it, and under the table there is an opposing magnet, manipulated with the foot to come into alignment and out of alignment. Leg movement gives it away, as well as the reason for using glass marbles instead of metal. Steel ball bearings would've got stuck to the lifting arm.
you are rigth
I don't know if you look really closely when he cuts to the running of the machine there seems to be an extra leg on the back side that was not there when he was showing off the machine
Yeah, you can totally see his body shift slightly as the balls move around.
下の球が所定の位置に来るまで、上の球が止まっているのは、どういう仕掛けなのでしょうか?
It’s kind of noisy, however do you have some thing that’s quieter? I would be interested in building one or buying it.

Nice one! Had me fooled and confused till I read the comments
I really appreceite your videos. These are really creative machines, and it's worth thinking about what is their working principle! Keep on the great job!
for all the commentators, try to see and observe vidio small cars in their early vidio, turn vidio at the speed of 0.25 marbles before touching front, the cars as if there will be a magnetic pull of the desk
Thank you!
This is really creative trickery...... Well, not that great, as we can see the linkage.

Sorry to say, this typw of model we are using in Bangladesh hundreds of the years ago. We use this model to pump out water from the flooded farming land.
Rubbish - you don't have a machine that can magically produce energy from nothing. If you did Bangladesh would be the richest country in the world. You are a liar.
Intriguing video. Where is the motor??))
this one doesn't have a motor, but it isn't perpetual. its more efficient than other designs (which is why it doesn't need a motor), but still obviously will stop eventually.
@@doraequan127 friction stop the movement.
There is a small string behind the machine and most likely as the string is pulled the machine is pulled upwards using the screws as a semi gear to turn the machine since it is light. The reason this machine isn’t effective cause of the odd motion it has in where there is moment of pausing meaning a external force is is going to be a work to have a reaction. This machine also doesn’t really push the beam down at a right time since the ball hitting the bottom part of it would actually keep it from tipping because of the force going down and not up.
What if you add some magnet to help it still wont work?
u know theres no motor here bcs cant hear it like in other vids but i wonder if he used a string or something hidden over that machine
Wow, that's amazing!
I'll buy three of them please
Dang and i thought wiping my ass with a hundred dollar bill was wasting money. You beat me.
I'd love to see a video of this that shows how long it operates. When does it stop? how long does it go before it stops? what does it look like on its very last action before it stops?
This is a misleading video. There's no way that the lever gets imbalanced when the lower ball gets to the rightmost end, when it wasn't imbalanced when there was no lower ball at the right end at all. Doesn't make any sense. Also notice how he had to give it a jerk at the start of the first cycle while no jerk was needed at the start of the subsequent cycles, even though the start configurations are exactly same. Also there are irregularities in timings of how the right arm of the lever is raised with respect to the timings of the lower ball entering the end in every cycle.
Most likely, they might've used magnets, or fish wires.
It must have taken a lot of practice to sit in that rocking chair without moving too much.
Unfortunately as much as you practiced it your right shoulder gives you away.
It looks convincing but try as you might you just cant completely hide it.
For those of you that want to know the trick everything you see ( the table, the contraption and him ) are rocking.
The camera is fixed to the same frame and rocking as well.
From your perspective it looks like nothing is moving.
I read a different explanation which was that while most of the design is clear, a part of it is not, and that is where a magnet is. Then there is a magnet under the table with a contraption that he controls with his foot, which is aparent because you can see his legs moving in rhythm with the machine.
Good work but where is motor?
Perpetual motion possible only in Uniform/angular velocity...????can it done in uniform accelation...???
This perpetual caused by very small imalance moment , when connected to other part in order to get its advantage, eventually it Will stop running over and over

The upper sphere, "waits" at the Center of the axis of the seesaw. Then the lower sphere ends at the lower end of the seesaw. What should lift up, the lower sphere? Not the upper sphere, who is nearly force-free on there place.
That's what I was wondering. Nothing makes it tilt up.

There is nothing there to make the left side of the ramp to drop. If it doesn't drop when the ball isn't in the cup to the right, how could it possibly move when it just got so much heavier when theball IS in the cup?
What, exactly, is that piece of white cloth draped under the ramp doing?

I feel the whole scene is being tilted slightly back and forth with a fixed camera, table, and character within the shot. If you watch the character in the background you can see them swaying.
Read the description lol.
@@midorifox Nowhere in the description does it say that the table the device is sitting on is tilting, they only reference the device itself. I am talking about the entire scene is faked to make the device appear to work continuously.
@@DragonXflyer right, it wasn't in the description, my bad. But he says in the video "Still confined", he says that he's just showing a theory, lol.
@@midorifox I have dabbled with perpetual motion devices in the past. Built quite a few, none I ever felt were worth showing on my channel. Presentations like this do inspire ideas, but should not be presented with camera tricks.
The lost of energy is friction in the axel.
What if instead of a screw as pibot you put a magnet?
Magnets can never be used for this because the magnet will eventually lose it's strength and stop working.

How long does this model work?
It doesn't work.
There is a an air fan not seen in the scene pushes the tray downward.
why is it not hooked up to a generator or dynamo?
It IS hooked up to a generator generating the motion. Otherwise it would stop immediately.

@@Checkpat this channel isn't trying to show real machines anymore (unlike some of the early vids, which are just blatantly lying). This is just showing a concept of something that might have worked, even though it doesn't.

Work few seconds only, I want see works for many minutes because in the last moment of video is possible see change of rhythm on the spheres.
Of course the problem is that the machine doesn't work; if it did, the motion would begin automatically as soon as both spheres were in a stable configuration that is shown afterward to result in continued motion... it doesn't, and so the illusion fails. Though, that said, you've done a magnificent job hiding the power source and actuation method.
As an additional proof, I'll note how non-fluid the actual motions are after the machine is turned on; it's obvious there's either something on a crude timer, or a person triggering this device for each cycle.
I don't know why a lot of people get mad at these videos it's like going to a magic show watching the magician cut a woman in half then getting mad and walking out because it's not possible. Well no shit it's a magic show we are suspending our disbelief for entertainment. Also I like these because they really get me thinking about the laws of physics and how just because something looks like it should work doesn't mean that it does.

How long does it take to charge my phone ?
So, it is some kind of elaborate pendulum ?
Why ball right move up ???
What did your feet do?
Strange contraption. At 1:22 even in its very 1st "auto" cycle, you can see that there is absolutely NO reason for it(the right side) to just start going up again when it does, or at all for that matter. I guess its suppose to seem "timed" such that the balls momentums are "somehow" involved ? Play @.25X. Probably 🐟line.
Please make another video. Longer till the machine stops.
This is not really perpetual per se as it comes to the point when the second marble catches up with the first thus the right pace is disrupted so is the motion.
"About: My models of PMMs are of motorized versions that were built to illustrate how they were supposed to work in the minds of Inventors."
How to pull up marble? I dont see any logic?
Is that your voice?
I'm trying to make a desk toy like this that can run on its own for like, half an hour or so... I know I won't get perpetual but if I can get long enough to watch it go round and get bored watching it ill be happy to just reset it next time lil. Maybe make a wind up mechanical battery or something ;)
The big problem with "free energy" machines is - how do I hide the actual power source?
Behind the camera lol
κάποιο κρυμμένο μαγνητικό πεδιο και μάλιστα συντονισμένο με την κίνηση .
I have no clue what any of what you just said means, nor do I plan to learn it, but DAMN this stuffs interesting
The paradox here is the following, how to make this system can transmit its energy of movement without actually stopping, because basically it works as if its only sense was to do the same thing over and over again the same thing.
It's impossible enough having a system running itself, long before even considering extracting any energy from it.
