My feelings exactly!
This video really hit the nail on the head...
+Mac Ward woaw *winks and walks away*
This is very therapeutic to watch. Greetings from Sydney Australia!
Me to :)
I love watching Blacksmiths forge random Items. I think it's cool how they can shape a material like iron.
excellent hammer and damn fine video to boot. Thank you for taking the time to make and share both.
Jim Turman Thanks!
Loving the speed up sound of your powerhammer =) Very nice work!
wow! what a work of art! The video was fantastic and I was mesmerized by the entire process! Thank you for sharing.
Classic TA in my recommendations, is a nice little surprise.
Beautiful work and excellent video skills.
Blacksmithing looks so goddamn satisfying... I really want to get started on it, but definitely as a hoobyist aswell. I could never sell a piece of art like this
With time and practice you can, don't sell yourself short
Truly a thing of beauty! Thanks for sharing your time and effort with us bro Anthony Kent
I watched this so long ago that now I can watch it again and it’s like a new video. Your videos are so awesome.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Another really good video, detailing the entire hammer making process....Thanks! I really learn a lot from you...
Thanks!
i like the camera angle of your whole work shop
that's real nice there, wish you had a bunch more videos. Thanks for sharing
I had the pleasure of dealing with this man and have bought one of his hammers and have it delivered to Ireland. My opinion - its a work of art. You can tell by the detail on the hammer the passion and love this man has for his smith work. He is a gifted blacksmith. I hope to have the strength & health to swing this hammer for many years to come and pass on to my son at some stage. Thank you again Torbjörn. A delight dealing with you Sir.
Thank you very much!
i'd love to know forging as you do ! This is ever so cool to watch, and trying to learn just by watching !
This hammer is beautiful !
Thank you!
Amizing hammer, mate and what a wonderful video! Very informative, it's nice to see excellent quality european (metric system, yes!) bleacksmithing videos, finally! I have seen all your videos, great channel Torbjörn, keep forging and please keep making videos!
Nerfeel Thank you!
Impressive. Looks like you are learning your craft well. Thanks for letting us watch.
There is always such a since of satisfaction when you make something yourself. Very nice work.
blacksmith work what beautiful work
Awesome craftmanship! I'm a welder but I'd love to learn blacksmithing and get close to the skill you have some day!
Thank you!
I just re-watched this video for the 4 time. 1 of my favorite videos! definitely 1 of the best Blacksmithing channels.
thank you again friend.
Ha ha, great!
Torbjorn top notch. Hard work well rewarded with a thing of simple practical beauty!!
+Fireworxs2012 1045 is cheaper, easier to get hold of, forge and heat treat.
+Torbjörn Åhman how long did it take?
Faust1169 Don't quite remember, but about 3 h forging, 1 h grinding, 0,5 h heat treat, and 2 h making handle and mount handle. Lets say a days work incl. filming ... :)
Torbjörn Åhman Do u sell your Hammers ??
Torbjörn Åhman
This is such an awesome production Torbjörn, I keep finding myself back here watching it over and over. need to get myself a power hammer, yours is quiet compared to most or are you just turning the sound down when you come to edit? cheers!
Nathan
***** Thanks! Difficult to tell how loud it is from the video. I'm on auto gain control so the level will adjust itself. However I think the hammer is below average. For any power hammer, it probably depends really much on how it's mounted and in what environment it sits.
I enjoyed watching this. I have only done decorative forging but this has motivated me to consider trying something a little more functional.
Interesting to see the blacksmithing process. There has always been a sort of mystery behind this skill for me personally. Good to see people are keeping the practice alive in modern times
Anyone who just got dumped should watch this guys vids. so calming...
CommieHedgehog *I'm guessing you are speaking from experience?*
I thought you said "anywho who is taking a dump" I agree either way
IT look so nice!
Me, too.
Beautiful, could watch you work all day!
Great video thanks. You are showing some real skill and technique in this. I certainly learned a few things.
BUILD EM UP BREAK DOWN
Apparently this guy buys his tools then turns them into blocks but puts the videos on CZcams backwards.
Walter White Yep, don't tell anyone...
Torbjörn Åhman LOL

Wow!! Great craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing.
WOW! That came out really nice.
Hello from Maine, USA!
.....can you make me one? lol
;) nice job!
what i wouldn't give for an auto hammer.
bravo
Just get someone else to hit it for you 😂
There's something beautiful about making tools to use to make other tools. And just blacksmithing in general.
+THEtdub77 Yes, I agree.
A really enjoyable process to watch, many thanks!
MOLTENN COREEEEE!!!!
If u need a hammer to forge a hammer who forged the first hammer and how
Thor ;-D
A guy with a lot of rocks
darude-sandstorm
Stone hammers: leather/plant fibers, hard stone, and a stick, forged by "cave men"
bronze hammer because they were cast not forged
The finished hammer looks very clean. As always the video was enjoyable. Thanks for posting.
love watching you videos and surely admire your skills and craftsmanship
Is "sexy" a wrong adjective for a hammer?
Wonder how the first metal hammer was made, What the hell hammered it :X
+TopkekBootyDubs Some stones probably....
+TopkekBootyDubs I asked same question myself :D
+Torbjörn Åhman or casted one ?
+shivoskate how did they cast it?
BLaZE Mobile
Definitely not cast...
Beautiful craftsmanship! Also, a very relaxing video.
Good Video,Sir! Really nice Hammer! Love watching you work metal.
Great vid! Love your massive anvil! - is it ok for one guy to say that to another guy?? :-)
Красиво!
That is one nice hammer! Love the craftsmanship.
Awesome blacksmith's work. Can't wait for more videos!
Best regards, Greg
fortunaetly you have a power hammer... would have been a shit ton of work to forge this hammer with hand tools only... i mean it already is a bunch of work to forge some simple flat nib tongs if you have to draw out the reins with hand tools only
Using an electric hammer to make a normal hammer... That is so many kinds of funny. ;] Next project is to make an electric hammer using the hammer hammer?
after re-reading this... I realize it might come across as a criticism. I don't mean it that way. It is just that the irony is hysterical.
:) Most of the modern hammers made today are actually still forged. Drop forged by huge hammers.
nice tempering method and the coal dust , i never thought of that , very informative video !! nice work
