Matt, for the cart page.. is it ok to erase everything first like you showed and then build it in theme builder? As I have all the pages in theme builder connected to the actual pages. Hope it make sense what I'm asking :)

I have a question about the search bar regarding the new update. Do you know if you can still re-size the bar after you activate the new functions from Elementor 3.23? The size slide bar that you used to have disappears because of those new settings. It looks like you can only change custom width now.

@@petsimk Your likely on version 3.23 of Elementor. Instead of clicking the grid pattern on the upper right to access widgets it is now the “+” right next to the “E” logo. The gear icon that he clicks to escape I now click on the “E” icon top left and select “Exit to WordPress”

Hi There! Thanks for the great and important question. In my honest opinion, WooCommerce cannot handle that many products. I would go with Magento or PrestaShop for this many products… it just works better!

Hi Jorge, thanks for your question. I hear this sometimes occur, but I don't know what seems to be the problem. When I try to create a page and change this widget, it works 100% of the time. I'm using Elementor Pro 3.23.3. With the Hello theme. Are you also on those? Latest version on all? But that does not solve your problem... You could try going into advanced, and then change the Size options to 'Custom' and see if you can work with that: elementor.com/help/advanced-widget-settings-size/... Let me know, because I cannot understand where it goes wrong...

@@WPressDoctor 60 fps is much more comfortable for the eyes than 30 fps. I watch your tutorials and it seems a bit jerky, which causes me some discomfort, but in the end, what really matters is the content, and that, I believe, you do very well.

@@WPressDoctor not sure I understand. However, each "page" in the theme builder should be connected to the pages in WordPress. Not that they are directly edited in pages in WordPress. That can cause you problems if doing it directly.. been there, that's why I'm saying :)
Yes blogs with the theme builder is the way to go! Dynamic content can be done with Advanced Custom Fields - depending on what the source should be 😀👍🏻

Hi there! Thanks for the question! In this setup people will register when they checkout and buy a product for the first time. But if you want to make a “register page” it’s also possible! I haven’t created such a page, but with duplicating the “my account page” you could then replace the “my account” module with a registration module. I have not yet created a tutorial about this step…. I might do this, but after the holidays!!

This way you can edit your theme builder and all single products will also change 😃 That makes sure that everything looks consistent on your website. So no, each product looks the same!

Hi thank you for your videos. I bought Elementor Pro and am working on a website for a community gallery. The first few days was wonderful, and then it became a big frustration. Elementor loads slowly, sometimes not at all. I don't know what to do. I only have a few plugings. And only a few pages and media files. Do you have any advice.

Hi Matt. Unfortunately Elementor changed some of the interfaces and options in the latest version. So for example there is no size-Option in the content-Tab anymore to alter the height of the search widget. I'm searching and searching and actually still didn't find a solution. The search widget is way too big. I can change it's width but not it's height. Can you tell me where to change this height in the latest version? Thank's alot.

Where you able to fix it? I have another person also mentioning this. However I am on the latest update with Elementor Pro, Hello theme and normal Elementor… and it let me change the size… are you using another theme for example?
Ah ok! That clears things up for me. The Hello theme is what I use in this tutorial, that is the problem 🤗 Just for my learning, why use the Kadence theme instead of Hello?

I think that in your case you can't switch to another server because you are in Australia... but I don't know for sure 😃 You can always ask support. For now, as long as you have a server, its good!

There are many tutorials in the utube, but most showing using paid plugins. I wanted to learn how to use default search widget. Thank you.

Ah ok, then I would use a page instead of the theme builder for the cart 👍🏻 might solve this redirect loop!

I have a question about the search bar regarding the new update. Do you know if you can still re-size the bar after you activate the new functions from Elementor 3.23? The size slide bar that you used to have disappears because of those new settings. It looks like you can only change custom width now.

Hi There! Thanks for the great and important question. In my honest opinion, WooCommerce cannot handle that many products. I would go with Magento or PrestaShop for this many products… it just works better!

Hi Jorge, thanks for your question. I hear this sometimes occur, but I don't know what seems to be the problem. When I try to create a page and change this widget, it works 100% of the time. I'm using Elementor Pro 3.23.3. With the Hello theme. Are you also on those? Latest version on all?
But that does not solve your problem... You could try going into advanced, and then change the Size options to 'Custom' and see if you can work with that: elementor.com/help/advanced-widget-settings-size/... Let me know, because I cannot understand where it goes wrong...

Why do you edit pages with elementor from pages section instead of going to elementor's theme builder?

@@WPressDoctor not sure I understand. However, each "page" in the theme builder should be connected to the pages in WordPress. Not that they are directly edited in pages in WordPress. That can cause you problems if doing it directly.. been there, that's why I'm saying :)

I haven’t created such a page, but with duplicating the “my account page” you could then replace the “my account” module with a registration module. I have not yet created a tutorial about this step…. I might do this, but after the holidays!!

This way you can edit your theme builder and all single products will also change 😃 That makes sure that everything looks consistent on your website. So no, each product looks the same!

Hi Matt. Unfortunately Elementor changed some of the interfaces and options in the latest version. So for example there is no size-Option in the content-Tab anymore to alter the height of the search widget. I'm searching and searching and actually still didn't find a solution. The search widget is way too big. I can change it's width but not it's height. Can you tell me where to change this height in the latest version? Thank's alot.
