SECURITY BOOTH: Directors Cut (Part 2) | Scaredy Kate: czcams.com/video/8wHiDpdF3ng/video.html
Doug is awesome he clearly has put the effort into his cameo shoutouts. He clearly watched your guys reactions
I'm pretty sure hes known them for a pretty long time, I think they should a clip of it In the reaction to nostalgia critic covering clockstoppers
I always quote the Terminator's famous line: "Whst killed the dinosaurs? THE ICE AGE!" Truly peak cinema
😂
Did they predict Ice Age 3?
Doug recently came down with shingles, so send him all the positive energy you can.
My dad had shingles from mould. It was brutal.
A horrible disease that usually only effects roofs. -Norm MacDonald
That shout-out is hilarious from Doug!
Edit: He just shared their T3 reaction, and joked he's sending his lawyers! 😂
24:22 I met Robert Patrick at Summercon last year and confirmed this. He said when Cameron grabbed the camera, he was like "SUCK IT UP!"
That short from NC dedicated to Nate, tho he got late to it, was just a wonderful way to start this reaction. So cool you guys are even getting along there!
Linda Hamilton's twin sister Leslie also played the waitress Sarah in the nightmare, due to the lack of muscle mass that Linda had put on.
"Put. The Cookie. Down."
NOW!
I believe Christopher Nolan used smaller explosions and mashed them together with editing and layering to look like an atomic bomb, there’s no way he’d get a nuclear bomb!
Yeah Christopher Nolan himself has denied the rumor that they detonated a real atomic bomb on the film set.
Well I am glad you guys enjoyed the Cameo I sent for ya. Which is watched at 5:05
I love seeing people use Cameo to get Doug to roast reactors. Granted, this is only the third time I've seen it happen, and the previous two were both for the same person, but it's still fun.
@@MoostachedSaiyanPrinceWell I hadn’t done it with the intention of a roast. My main purpose for the Cameo was to have Doug wish Nate a Happy Birthday, but he had must have forgot to put it in or didn’t see that part in the message for the reason of the video.
@@jamesmoyner7499 I wasn't complaining, and I don't think anyone else was either. Nate certainly wasn't. Also, seeing this makes me think "Doug roasting reactors" might ACTUALLY be a trend he's been seeing a lot with his Cameos and it's possible he made this one thinking it was another reactor roast.
@@MoostachedSaiyanPrince I know. I was just clarifying why I ordered it,
5:02 just in case if want to see it
I think Doug edited in a side note later on where he acknowledged Linda Hamilton had a twin sister that doubled for her
Yikes
This is why effects in movies like this, Jurassic Park and Titanic still hold up because the CGI has practical equivalents that they need to measure up to.
13:50 The T2 review reaction begins
Thanks Caleb and hasta la vista baby
Can Caleb label
That message from Doug was so funny and so sweet. You gotta get that outfit together. Fake glasses and all 😂
37:13 I believe there's a segment in the documentary "Empire of Dreams" where the cast talks about not really taking Lucas' directing seriously. Harrison even said that the direction they often got was to just do what's written on the script.
45:14 I think Cameron said in the DVD commentary that it was a stunt double.
48:40 The comic that came out after T2 actually followed up on that arm being used.
NC: Im gonna take you for all you got.
Nate: Ok here's 5 dollars and a Costco sized bag of dry dog food.
😂Hahahaha!
You know this means you have to dress up as the Nostalgia Critic for the next one. 😂
30:15 - Apparently Arnold didn't know it was Linda's twin sister, and he snuck up and gave her a bear hug in full Terminator costume. Imagine having the Austrian behemoth just grab you from behind and giggle like a school boy when you've never really met them before.
That will be 60 dollars will you pay cash or credit. Twelve gauge. What?! Bang
35:11 no they didn’t use a real nuke they used explosives and a different perspective
Doug’s Cameo video is the epitome of “Senpai noticed me!” 😁
Okay, we need a shirt with Nate pulling off the Winchester flip. Please for the love of god, we need that. Doesn’t need to be loaded, don’t need to fire it, just a short proving Nate can do it!
I wonder, and hope, Doug saw your reaction to his review of Shymalan’s Avatar movie, because that was hilarious.
>the “Earthbending” scene
Nate: *Pauses video* “WTF?! How much was the budget on this movie!?”
Ben: “…150 million.”
Nate: *flips keyboard off his lap* , *storms out of frame*
Nate: *”FUUUUUUUUUUCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!!!!”*
I died laughing at that.
Then add on Micah's comment: "Oh hey we're still going." when Nate accidentally started the video playing again and you hear is scream!
That is like the top 10 Renegade moments of all time
That moment goes to prove how genuine your reaction content is
At this point i have feeling it’s none but is there ANY I mean ANY live action film that is atleast 100% or 99%, 50% accurate to the source material there coping just any but it’s just a question you guys don’t have to answer if you want but just something to say for some reason.
@@Shadow-et9uo To answer your question, in my opinion, what matters isn’t whether something is 100%, 99%, or 50% accurate, or even LESS than that. Its whether or not the people making the adaptation were TRYING to be accurate or not.
A lot of things can be brushed aside or allowed in a movie if you can sense that the directors, actors, or script-writers gave a shit about what they were making and they wanted to do a GOOD job and/or have fun with what they were doing.
Case in point: the reason why the first Dungeon and Dragon’s movie from 2000 isn’t QUITE as bad as it seems is because the bad guy is being played by Jeremy Irons, and the directors and writers clearly let him come onto the set and scream, “THIS SCENERY IS *FUCKING* DELICIOUS!!!” before doing what he does best.
If it’s clear that a live-action adaptation is a cashgrab and there’s no real passion going into it, then it’s gonna suck ass.
Which is also why I didn’t include “producers” into the list of people who give a shit about a movie. They automatically don’t, because they just want to make sure a movie makes as much money as possible, so they will *hound* the directors and writers to make sure they stick to a checklist of common cliches and stereotypes.
45:14
No, it was Schwarzenegger's stunt double Peter Kent who did that dangerous stunt (which James Cameron stated he would never allow again).
I keep reminding myself it's a real man running from a moving truck onto another moving truck...that and the chopper popping over the freeway overpass. Those stunts still make my jaw drop even over 30 years later.
Every time I see the helicopter lift up and fly over the bridge, I just think how close the landing gear got to the hand rail and how close to disaster they must have been.
@@peytonmac1131 It sure looked like it, but Chuck Tamburro was, in fact, THAT GOOD.
24:27 balls of titanium right there
THE GLASSES ARE FAKE!?!?!? WHAT THIS IS HOW I FIND OUT!??!
Oh my god, Dungeon Dynamite! I've been trying to remember that animation for ages and I couldn't, thank you!
Oppenheimer is really damn good. I highly recommend it. I saw it opening night
Terminator 2 was my first and favorite Terminator movie
Nice I look forward to you guys reacting to his other terminator reviews since he reviewed all of them, also glad you got a cameo shoutout from him.
Top 11 Movie Themes is one of my fav reacts
Surprised to see Double Toasted for a bit on here
didn't even watch the video yet, but I upvoted just because of Micah. I've missed him.
38:40 - 30:19 The only movie that comes close to showing this level of detail for the effects of a nuclear explosion would be the anime flick, Barefoot Gen. My God, that was terrifying to see adapted into animation, and it came out before both Terminators.
He must wear the outfit next time he watches nostalgic critic
48:24
In the Randall Frakes' novelization of *"T2",* after Uncle Bob sank into the molten steel, John recovered his broken metal arm and all the scraps & pieces and threw them all into the steel to ensure nothing can be used to create Skynet.
Looking forward to seeing you react to all 6 nc terminator vids
28:17 - 28:39 😂😂😂So bad, but so quotable!
Sonja: "😠GEDREN!! 😤WHERE 😲ARE 😡YOU?!"
Her Twin Sister is the Foster Mom btw
I think Terminator Salvation is underrated
Loved this nc ep
Speaking of the helicopter bit the guy who the T-1000 said to get out was a Vietnam vet who actually was the pilot who flew the helicopter over and under bridges during the chase scene!
34:35 whoa, pluto's balls on chris nolan
I love that a lot of the people who watch Channel Awesome are under 30 and probably have never seen half of the movies Doug reviews. But he does a good job of introducing people to both terrible and great films from the 80s and 90s while exposing the fact that the vast majority of movies made today are garbage. Not because they’re “woke” or anything. Just because they’re trash. T2 puts on a clinic in how to use CG properly. Sadly, no one today got that memo and it’s basically used as a substitute for stunt doubles and actual filmmaking. That’s why the effects in this movie hold up like crazy, and a superhero movie made 5 years ago doesn’t. They will never capture human emotion with CG like live action - or even hand drawn. But show a kid a fast paced movie from the 80s and they’ll need an extra Ritalin dose chased down with a Red Bull.
28:47 Micah should’ve done that. I laughed my ass off every time he did his Arnold impression. Especially in your Nostalgia Critic Jingle All the way video
Fun fact, they had to reshoot the scene where John escapes from the T-1000 at the mall multiple times because Robert Patrick ran so fast that he kept catching up to the bike. Eventually, he had to slow down but still make it look like he was running as hard as he could. And that's some impressive physical acting
The game Terminator: Resistance is the true third Terminator film (IMO) TRUST ME!!!
About the part when SWAT-team storms in and shoots Dyson without giving him a a chance to surrender. It could be that they saw Dyson holding a bomb-detonator and shot him to prevent bombs from being detonated. SWAT members and law enforcement officers in general have to make split-second decisions actively.
47:06, there is a lore explanation for this, the t-1000 was not designed to ever encounter other terminators, so skynet only gave it basic knowledge instead of every detail which is why it wasn't aware of the t-800's back up power.
I would have like t3 if they used other robotic arm as the reason for skynet still trying to end the world.
Y'all need to one day cross over with Doug Walker 😎.
Robert Patrick I think did a really good job at playing the T1000 believable enough to think it was human but just having a hint of something being off. Almost like the machines were still figuring out human behavior and this was a second attempt at it. I also love that he took the time to train with firearms enough to where he didn't blink while dumping rounds which, If you never shot before, Is kinda a hard thing to do for new shooters
42:51 this part of the review cracks me up!
nate want to kiss the tip confirmed xD 8:30
I don’t know what version you watched, but I’ve always seen all the moments you’ve mentioned in the final film, the dog collar, the glitching T-1000 etc. I think different regions release different versions, like a theatrical and an extended version.
33:39 WTF, Hey Filipino Band Theme! Hell yeah nick!
Just a note, the extended edition isn't actually a "director's cut". Cameron still stands by the theatrical cut.
Terminator 2 is my favorite movie filmed at Auto Club Speedway!
Love the Metroid Prime music.
Doug got it wrong in his video. He says "1991". T2 is really set in 1995 as John is 10.
Nick knows about the song Bagsakan?
Put that cookie down 😂😂😂🕶️🍪
I think Micah was referring to Grade A not jocat or terminal montage
When will the reaction to Terminator 3 Nostalgia Critic come out?
Great last century movie. 😎
Finally what took you fools so long?
Goof from Nostalgia Critic:
He states that *"TERMINATOR 2"*
takes place in 1991, when in reality the film's story took place either in 1994
or 1995 as John Connor is supposed to be ten years old.
do vanossgaming powerwash simulator the forbidden spongebob episode
He can be kinda of a jerk sometimes
Who?
Sam'oNella just released a brand new video
