- We packed up our OtterTent Monster Lodge DIY hot tent and drove our side by side out into thick woods to set up camp in a really bad snowstorm. We fought with high and blustery winds to set up our hot tent but it was all worth it when we lit up the woodstove and got to relax beside it in our very warm tent. As always, hope you enjoy the video :)

Oh my gosh you guys are so funny!!! I think this was my favorite video!!!! There was so much snow!! But it looked so cozy in your tent!!! Job well done..I always look forward to seeing a new video of yours coming out!!!
lol we had a great time, but yes there was ALOT of snow! It made the driving sketchy haha. Thanks for watching :) :)
i was gonna say... when using a ice fishing hut during heavy snow fall... you should highly consider placeing a pole to support top roof pop up section.
lol as per usual we learn things the hard way hahahahah! Thanks for the tip :)
Man you are living the dream! I would love to do things like that one day. 😊
Thanks so much! We really are having a blast :)
I would recommend some type of post to keep the inside from popping down.
Yes we definitely needed a post that night! This was the first significant snowfall that we have used it in and we guess it was a bit too heavy lol thanks!
Not a problem, did you have a video that talks about where, when, and how much the tent was?
No, we didnt really do a review on the tent, but we have been thinking about making one. We got it last year and only had time to use to once so we are making up for it this year. We are in Canada and we bought it at Cabela's (owned by BASSPRO shops) its called the Monster Otter Lodge and it cost us $999.00 CAD. It is definitley our favorite winter tent, it's the warmest and the biggest.
I'll enjoy looking for more New videos with you both using it. I have multiple kids myself and have been looking at taking them on a Winter trip like I've done before. The tent you're using I may consider getting since it appears to be big enough for me and some of my family.
We bet your kids would love it!
Did your tent collapse during the night?
It didn't fully collapse, but the top kept poping down multiple times! Thanks for watching :)
