Great idea! We just got to get longer wires to run the control into the tent. The wires that came with are only 6 inches long. We do have a remote, but forgot it of course. It was our first time using it in the video.

@@herethereadventures Ha ha yeh you gotta watch out for those kangaroos, they can be nasty. Ok cool to know where you are now not sure why I thought Alberta. Hopefully I will start camping again soon and do something more on the wild camping side. I’ve been on crutches for the psst year waiting for surgery so i get new hips on June 4 finally. 😁 so I should be running through the bush soon. Thanks for the reply. Yes we definitely needed a post that night! This was the first significant snowfall that we have used it in and we guess it was a bit too heavy lol thanks!

Not a problem, did you have a video that talks about where, when, and how much the tent was?

No, we didnt really do a review on the tent, but we have been thinking about making one. We got it last year and only had time to use to once so we are making up for it this year. We are in Canada and we bought it at Cabela's (owned by BASSPRO shops) its called the Monster Otter Lodge and it cost us $999.00 CAD. It is definitley our favorite winter tent, it's the warmest and the biggest.

I'll enjoy looking for more New videos with you both using it. I have multiple kids myself and have been looking at taking them on a Winter trip like I've done before. The tent you're using I may consider getting since it appears to be big enough for me and some of my family.

My wife and i are just North of Sudbury we got all that snow to 30cms so you know what I was doing put the plow on the SXS and a plowing we go lol.

We are further south than you are so we bet you got a lot more than we did. We have a SXS too and was considering a plow for it too. How is the plow working for you? Would you recommend it? Thanks for watching :)

Yes i love having the plow makes life so much easier i even have people coming along and wanting to pay me to do there driveway lol.

What SXS do you have? and how wide is your plow? We have a ArcticCat WildCat 700 Trail and debating on getting a plow.

Not sure what you mean by wedge?

@@herethereadventures Many people call it a “wedge” when your topper starts shorter at the cab end and slopes upward to be taller at the back end. Two of the conventional sizes for these toppers are 26 inches sloping to 32 inches, and 30 sloping to 36. I couldn’t quite tell which yours was. I like the look and would be interested in finding a similar one.

The inside height at the back is 4 ‘9” but we aren’t sure as to what the slope is. The brand of the topper is A.R.E if that helps lol! Thanks :)

We didn’t that time, there wasn’t much wind we had to worry about and had lots of trees to block the wind. The tent also weighs over 70 lbs but we did see videos of people using it ice fishing and it just blows away, so we would def stake it down with the included ice stakes that screw into the frozen ground/ice.
