Way to bring back the win dude. Its awesome to see what you’re doing and that other people can find pleasure in your success. Thanks for sharing the content!
Here I am an old man listening to this young man’s journey and smiling the whole time. Congratulations Will!
Congrats on getting you journeyman. Next step Master Smith. Great job they all looked great the chefs knife was my favorite.
Congratulations Will on passing your journeyman blade smith exam & for winning best chefs knife. You really couldn't have had a better blade show.
Winning best chefs knife just proves that you don't need to take a month to make a perfect knife. Just stop overthinking everything and make the great knives you are very capable of making.
Glad to meet another eagle scout. It built me into the man I am today,
"When I left you I was but the learner. Now ... I am the [journeyman]."
I love that you sold your test pieces to a fellow maker. (An obviously smart man who knows a 'collectible' when he sees one.)
Very impressive, a well-deserved pass, and win. And on selling all your knives. It was great hearing about the show. Better, even, than watching a video of the actual event, as your enthusiasm, relief and well-deserve pride were so genuine, I felt like a proud dad hearing about my kid's success. Good on you, mate.
one of my favorite moments of blade show 2022 was buying a "forge or die" poster from Will and having him sign it on my birthday. Thx Will!
Congratulations, Will! Hey, I have a project idea: how about a machete, but just over the top with details? I’m talking integral bolster, maybe pattern Damascus, maybe texture on the spine; whatever your creativity leads you to do.
This, but with a butter knife.
@@U014B matching set
@@aarondurbin6089 I agree, a matching set is the only option here
Yess please, all of the above!
Maybe even some engraving and gold inserts? :D
So happy to hear that the industry still adheres to strict performance standards.
So many other trades have lowered their standards in the last decade!!
Worried love to own your chef knife, but it's a bit too high for my budget.
If you even make one your not happy with and want to make a few bucks, I'll take it!!!
Huge congratulations! It has been such a pleasure watching you grow as both a blade smith, and a CZcams Creator! Even though we've never met or spoken I view you as a mentor! Keep you the fantastic work! I look forward to the videos you will make of your journey to become a Master blade smith!
Congrats! Your hard work is showing results! Looking forward to seeing what you do in the future!
Congrats on passing and on the win! I'm sure it's a long road from Journeyman to Master, but I hope we continue to get to see your journey, man.
Hi Will, Congratulations on your achievement.
I remember watching you when you were at Alec's shop and admired the work you did there and your commitment to perfection.
i wish you well into the future.
Well done.
Regards Dennis.
Awesome! Congratulations Will !

Congrats! Hard work paying off!
Two of my favorite blacksmiths got their Journeyman! Sweet! Stagmar and Stelter!
Good stuff and Congrats. The pride and excitement really came through on this video. Thanks for sharing it with us! 👏
Congrats man, you deserve it.
Keep working as hard as you do, you'll continue to have all the success.
suggestion for a future project - some kind of fan collaboration where you surprise a fan by stopping in their shop and working with them on a blade. i think it would make great footage and that lucky smith would have the time of their life.
Awesome story! Thanks for sharing Will.
Wow! Great job, Will! Congratulations!
Congratulations man! Can't wait to see what you do from here on out!
Heartfelt congratulations! Have really enjoyed following your journey so far, cannot wait to see your master smith projects.

Thank you for sharing with us and again, congratulations!!

Huge congrats on getting the stamp of approval, been awesome to watch you grow since the days of collaborating with Alec. Always thought you had fantastic eye for details and a will to go the extra mile that was really cool. I'm glad you're getting it recognized on that level officially!
Never underestimate the willingness of someone, with imagined power, to do exactly the wrong thing. Power breeds cruelty/evil. Congratulations are due to you my friend!
I'm not even a teensy bit surprised that Will is an Eagle Scout
Congratulations Will!

Oooohhh I’m SO HAPPY for you dude! Absolutely a deserved win on both accounts. You put the heart, effort, soul, tears (of joy and sorrow) and work and work and work into your craft so completely. You are a true inspiration to many, even us folks who have never even seen a forge, but try to better ourselves in other ways. Thank you for all of it! ❤️🙏🏻
Congratulations on the Journeyman stamp, Will! Well deserved all round. You brought some beautiful blades to the show, and frankly they couldn't have given the award to a better man.
Congrats, dude! We can't wait to see what's next!

Congrats! Thanks for being an inspiration to blade makers all over!
While I'm a little sad we didn't get to see the making of your knives, I'm also really glad you didn't split your attention between making your journeyman works and trying to record video. Congratulations!
Congratulations! Good job! Looking forward to watching your journey towards the next milestone.
So awesome! Congrats! Your guard and integral fit ups are amazing, the curved integral is a complete mystery to me. The lines flowing into the handles, everything looks really good.
Awsome dude, congrats!
Awesome Will. I am very happy for you...
Congratulations, what a road to get there 😆, I cant wait to see more of your work 👍👍
Congratulations!! Love your channel and work.
Congrats Wil, I have been following you and Alex for Years I've enjoyed watching you guys make cool stuff & Knives. I'm almost 69 yrs old & wish I could do stuff like that. I hope you make it to the Top as a Master Knifemaker.
CONGRATULATIONS Mr. Stelter! 🎉
I have been following your "journey" since you first started with Alec. I have been playing with hot metal for only 2 years and you are one that continues to inspire me and challenge myself and have fun forging. Currently working on blade #2 and we will see what happens.
Love watching your progress (or more importantly to me - the process) as you are working towards Master Smith. Keep your videos coming, please! I will continue to watch, learn, and enjoy. Stay SHARP!
Congratulation, Will! Keep up the great work!
Congrats! I can’t wait to watch your journey to master.
Good for you, Will! It has been a pleasure watching you progress from junior SteeleCO member to Journeyman. I hope to see you do may more projects in the future ( a really cool damascus folder would be nice). CONGRATULATIONS!
Grats, great work and outcome, good to see :)
Congrats on passing the Journeyman's test! It's an honor to have such a talented knifemaker/maker in our state. You're keeping up with the quality we try to exemplify here in MT. I suppose you can stay (j/k). (I lived in WA for a while myself). Keep up the great work!
Great job you really deserve it. Can’t wait to see what’s next for you . Keep going . Love watching your videos
That's so dope! Its soo cool getting to hear about the knife making culture, and the behind the scenes for how it all works!
Well done dude. awesome to watch you grow!
I'm really happy to hear you did it!
Congrats Will!!!!
Congratulations Will, lovely looking set of knives too. Has been great to watch your journey from over here in the UK. All the best for the future, looking forward to seeing you push on to Master Smith 👍
Big congratulations mate. The journey has only just begun. Keep on working it.
Congrats Will. Your work is amazing, you deffo deserved to pass my man
Congrats Will! I love your projects, and it’s awesome that you passed!🙌 Can’t wait to see what you will accomplish in the future!🤩👏
Congratulations Will, that’s quite an accomplishment sir! I didn’t become a Journeyman in my chosen field until I was 30 & l started when I was 12. I saw a photo of you and the other JS right after the Blades show, I kept meaning to congratulate you. I’m almost 60 and just starting to forge knives, I’m a Master Welder/Fabricator. I don’t think I can get to Master Smith, but maybe I can squeak out a Journeyman Smith stamp someday.
HUUUUUGE CONGRATZ ,WILL!!!!!!!!!!
Well Made
Congratulations Will!!!
That is amazing. I love watching your journey and how freaking hard you work. Very inspiring.
Congrats dude!! Proud of you!!
