BRO..ITS ALWAYS THE JEEP OWNERS WHO THINK THEIR JEEP IS CAPABLE OF TOWING..ITS A CAPABLE JEEP YES BUT ONLŸ 4WD OFFROADING. I CAN BET MY EXCURSION WOULD OF TOOK IT OUT NO PROBLEM. I GOT LICKERS RE GEARED AXSLES WHIPPLE SC.. ...EASY FOR MY TRUCK 12 IINCH LIFT. ON 38 WITH GRAPPLERS ON SOME WIDE RIMS. BUT LETS SEE 2 JEEPS AND CHEVY TOW THIS RAM OUT.
😂😂😂 it’s always the truck owners that think they can do anything. Which is why we’re there saving them on the regular 🫠 having some weight would help, but you weren’t getting that out with one truck. They literally had two one ton trucks down there yanking on it, couldn’t get it, so the cops call us to get it out. Which we did with no problem.
When did an excursion become a truck? When did people
Start putting”Lickers” on vehicles? Why do all the mall crawlers see an off-road video and automatically think they are experts?? Guy should come bring that excursion down here to the beach. When he gets stuck @Towtruck_Dustin will be there to pull him out in his Jeep…
To the Fella with "Lickers and 38 inch tires". I can only guess that you are not familiar with the tides, sand, and suction that happen when these vehicles sit in the water and actually get sucked into the sand. I would like to let you know that if you let an empty boat trailer sit in the surf and let the tide do it's thing to the empty trailer, your vehicle will not be able to break the suction and remove the trailer from the sand. The tide will sink the trailer in the sand and completely cover it if you let it sit long enough. The tide will completely bury the trailer if you let it sit long enough. If you were to try to simply tow the stuck vehicle, your vehicle would simply dig 4 wholes and keep digging until the Excursion is on the frame. I live in this area, and I am a member of the Brazoria County Off Road Recovery Team, and we have seen several vehicles in this same situation and all of them have to be pulled with a winch. Kinetic ropes and tow straps will not do this job. It takes the slow steady pull from a winch to break the suction and get the vehicle moving. Come and see us sometime and maybe we can show you what it takes to get a vehicle out of the surf.
Leave it in park is the right move if you’re on concrete it’s a different story.
My F150 4x4 could help but pretty soon tide will take it
For sale: Ram 3500, good shape, recently sandblasted and brine washed undercarriage. Bring cash and new wiring harness if you want a test drive. No lowballs, I know what I got.

Late model Ram Florida truck never saw salt roads zero rust!
Ran when parked
Lol
I remember cars getting flooded all the time when I lived on Surfside Beach back in 1982. People would come down from Houston and other areas inland for the weekend. They park at low tide and get stuck at high tide.
I lived at 52 Bluewater Highway when it was a small RV park. Hurricane Allisia whipped it out back in ‘83. Now it’s a Luxury RV Resort with a restaurant. Great memories growing up on Surfside Beach. Back in those days the Happy Crab Bar was on the beach along with a pier.
I remember going there in 1981-1982. My jr high neighborhood buddy’s would bribe High schoolers who lived on my street to take us down there from sugar land for $20. There was a buc-ees real close to surf side that sold mini styrofoam boogie boards and these crazy looking flip flops called titties that would not come off your feet while in the water. They were the precursor to the modern teva or watershoe. That beach was mega fun for 14 years old. I also remember pushing out a new Datsun 200SX that was owned by my neighbors sister that got stuck in the sand very close to the entrance Dustin used. That car was super low to the ground. She had no business being on the beach 😅
@@JohnMurrayOP none of the vehicles i see stuck belong off the pavement
Love these off-road rescues, kinda funny to see how people get into these situations and how you make it seem so easy to rectify these predicaments, keep up the great work!!!
Thank You!
That jeep guy have the winch accessory and doesn't even know how to use. Just for looking cool and wait for his buddies to come by and use it for him, good buddy indeed.
Awesome video! The situations people put themselves in. Thank you for sharing!😊
Thanks for watching!
Moral of the story, a truck is not a boat
.....and a boat is not a truck.
AND pay attention to the tide!
Great vid Dustin, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Hey Mr.Dustin great job rescue that truck today 💯😁👍💯
Thank You!
Good Job! Southwest Germany waving a Hand 💯👍🙋♂
2 wheel drive, you're gonna get stuck. 4 wheel drive..now you're REALLY gonna get stuck.
Boiled shrimp, shrimp cocktail, fried shrimp, coconut shrimp…
FOR SALE: Ram 3500 - Low Mileage. Only driven on weekends.
I really, really enjoyed this video!!! I am a female, but I love the ocean and I love sand and driving on beaches, etc., etc.!! And my husband was an over the road truck driver long haul and then ending up just delivering brand new, semi trucks locally, which I helped him with in Salt Lake area, etc.!!! But I lived in Palm Beach Florida and also went to the New Jersey shore and Rhode Island, and have driven on Daytona Beach… Plus I lived with my husband in Alaska and our boys and we had a lot of times where we got stuck or we helped other people get out of being stuck, helping push them out with the vehicle or using tow ropes, kitty litter, shovels, etc., etc.!!! I love doing that!!! So impressed with you tow truck drivers or whatever you call yourself!!! I’ve been in a few of your trucks With my husband, etc.!! Thank you so very much for the great video!! Was the Oregon coast with my husband a while back, and I got out to jump around in the surf and look for shells, but my husband was freaking me out/scaring me, driving our black Jeep into the surf, etc., where this could’ve happened!!! He always liked to push the envelope!!! Thank goodness and Heavenly Father we/he didn’t get stuck!!!! Thank you again! have you found the gospel of Jesus Christ!?! ❤🤟🙏🌎😇🪴🤗🥰👍😊🚚🛻🚛
Probably already on a CARMAX lot.
Massive kudos to you. You know you’re towing. The jeep people would have hell of a time getting the truck out without you.
You can tell someone that is smart, will listen to others opinion and learn, the big guy was kool, and is a smart guy, props to him.
He’s very knowledgeable. He did vehicle recovery in the army. He’s no stranger to this kind of work.
@@Towtruck_Dustin that explains it, thank you.
The clarity of the camera is amazing!!!!!,🤫🫢🔴
Salt and sand in the engine block? Don't all Stellantis vehicles come this way lol.
Oh boy the Chevy Ford and jeep guys are gonna love this one 😁
So proud of your work knowledge and know how Dustan. Stuff ups happen when called out sometimes. I do miss your beach recoveries as well. That ram looked awfully heavy too. Stay safe and see you on the next one 😊
I am the only one that thinks this Ram is or will be totaled out from the salt water, maybe the insurance company wont be involved but that salt water will ruin any electrical connectors, and rust out the frame over time. Brake lines rust the frame from the inside out. Driver is not too bright.
That looked like a heavy truck
Great job guys
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Dustin, yep that came out real good, that’s great, good job for all.
Definitely expected it to fight a little more.
Now take the truck straight to the dealership and tell them 'I don't what happened, it just quit'
Dead in the water brought to a literal term
someone got tired of making over priced dodge truck payments
Remember not all of the cars at the auction are junk. But all the junk cars are at the auction.
Wise words lol
Another great recovery. I would be nervous driving that rollback on a beach.
What in the hell someone think that a ram is a boat
Real men of genius
thanks now that tune will be stuck in my head for days 🎵
I watch your videos from Argentina
Wow! Thanks for watching! Glad you’re enjoying the content!
Hope you got paid still. They wouldn’t have gotten out w/o you! Nice work D!
That defiantly was a chump move at the end. You were the only one that was sure how to get that one of there safely and use the equipment available to it’s fullest. Then he stiffs you on payment. Some people just have no respect.
Yeah, that was not cool.
If only he had his tow mirrors out…. Oh wait
Fun recovery right there.
Excellent job again
Dodge Ram 3500 Amphibious Vehicle - Dive, Drive, Tow; you choose!
Dude was probably upside down on his loan and behind on his payments. Let's go truck surfin'
Although you didn't get the towing job it was still great content with your knowledge and skills. Great video! 👍
Thanks for watching!
Once I saw a tow truck stuck in a ditch, trying to tow out a box truck. Then, another tow truck with a crane showed up to tow the first tow truck. Realized that's not the trade for me...
Oh nice, my insurance just went up to cover this dumb shyt!!!!!!! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
💀💀💀💀💀💀 buddy thought he was whistlin diesel and found out
Underrated comment
😂😂😂
You sure that Cody wasn't driving?
💀😂💀😂
I love watching that crazy guys videos 😂
4 wheel drive doesn’t mean you can drive anywhere!!
You can go anywhere, you just cannot return
Nice salt water for that frame. Thanks for the video.
It’s going to rot from the inside out now lol
@@Towtruck_Dustin For sure! Poor guy.
I knew that water when I saw the thumbnail. Though it was actually Galveston. Great job.
We love Surfside. Such a nice small town with decent beaches.
Same. I always enjoy going out there.
Very Good Video Watch. Professional Tow Trucker read situation & worked w/all involved to help in quick just in time recovery.
Awsome rescue!
I like surfside, nice little town, stayed right there at that hotel
For sale ram 3500. No rust now
Hey, Dustin, John from Mike’s Machine Works, just found your channel, cool video! Man, that could have gone bad in a hurry. Having grown up down here on the coast, seen many of these. The key is time, If you wait too long, the sand grabs on and then nothing short of digging it out will work. I’ve seen trucks stuck out there and just slowly disappear! Top notch work, have a good day. 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
I can't believe you can drive your roll back on the beach.
Yeah, I was impressed too.
Nice job! I was like 😱 when you drove the rollback onto the beach 😂 poor dodge dually. Was a nice truck. That ride was coming in, perfect time for casting some line.
I could tell the sand was hard. I’ve spent more time on that beach than most people have spent on the pavement lol
Great video!!!! Awesome to see you wearing your LaCrosse rubberboots!!!!
Kind regards from The Netherlands. :)
Giving a week rust will show every where
Give it a few days lol
Lol that actually made me happy, I have the same winch as the lady’s and there’s not alot of videos on them so it’s cool to know they aren’t horrible. I do notice with mine though if your not pulling straight forward ot spools horribly
That’s any winch. Easy to pile up on one side if you’re not square with the casualty.
Jeep Wranglers are very light vehicles. Being light makes it difficult to establish a firm grip with the surface it's riding on. Trying to pull the Dodge truck from a 90 degree angle is fruitless, especially on sand. The best course of action was to pull straight ahead which is why the winch worked so well. Lastly, Yanking vehicles like "William" was trying to do is a no no.
You have the right idea, but only partially right.
This brings back memories several years ago in Daytona Beach You could park on the beach very close to the water and people didn't realize the tide would come up every week in the paper they'll be pictures of cars with water almost to the roof I had an old 1960 Willy's Jeep pickup and I pull people out all the time
That was a good One 😮 almost lost it 💪🙏👍
Thanks for watching!
Good job guys
Thank You!
Crazy how high the water is. It was that way back in September when I took my nephew to Corpus. I was hoping to let him drive on the beach but it was too sketchy, so we went to lighthouse lakes and did some donuts.
This reminds me of a guy I once knew with a classic Mercedes, who decided to drive it along the beach at low tide. I don't remember if he was tore up or what was the reason, but the car was left on the beach, the tide rushed in, and the car was history. He reported it to the police as being stolen, and actually laughed about the whole sordid affair. By the way, his family owned one of the insurance agencies in town.
Boats ramps and the ocean. The best way to get the insurance to pay for your truck when you realize you don't have this month's truck payment😂
Im new here i always watch matt recovery ❤
great video
Thank You!
@@Towtruck_Dustin you are welcome Dustin
nice catch.. I'd throw it back though
Excellent video Dustin! Hope you still got paid.
Sometimes it’s not about the money. I’m in this line of work because I love what I do, and enjoy helping people. I do make a fairly decent living, but that’s just a bonus.
Thank you
That is wun crazy tow out
Morning!
its now a parts truck engine and electrical stuff is probably shot now
THESE TURDS RUST WHEN THE WIND BLOWS,CANT IMAGINE WHAT WILL HAPPEN TOMORROW,
I never take my dually off the pavement, and I'm 4x4. Tow pigs will get stuck in their own shadow.
That was a good ole 4th gen Ram. Unfortunate loss.
its not lost, wash it down dry it off itll be fine
We call those U-boats here in Pismo Beach
this video brings more meaning to the saying, you cant fix stupid
My Lord, lots of dilling dalling on the beach...
Looks like my Ram. Had mine on a beach before. 4WD is fine but crazy easy to stick a heavy truck.
Wife gets mad at husband drives his brand new truck into ocean 😮
Unreal
parabéns pela iniciativa excelente trabalho 👏👏🏿👏🏾👏🏻👏🏽✨🇧🇷♠️.
Having broken a parking pawl from winching in park, I don’t recommend leaving it in park lol
there was a few things in that video that were painful to watch. what you mentioned being one of them
STUCK on a beach?Let the air out of your tires and SLOWLY drive out.
I think you’re gonna need some bigger boots!
Good job brother
Thank You!
thank God you had him put that parking brake on
There goes his transmission
That’s the least of his problems
In every video when Dustin grabs his gloves, I always think of Anakin's quote, "This is where the fun begins!"
I’m gunna have to start saying that now 😂
Never understood why people just don’t buy a boat 🤷🏻♂️
Some sucker is gonna buy that truck thinking they got a great deal 😂😂until things start to short out .
Thanks and Gig'Em 👍
Never step over a winch cable line under pressure if you like your.junk not.to be cut off im telling ya
Well, at least he had his Dodge Douche Mirrors out.
Hey Siri, what is high tide?
To many chiefs not enough Indians
Great video Dustin! I like the videos better without the intro music, but only because the volume of the music is always a bit louder so I have to turn down my speakers a bit for it.
Good job ❤👍
Thank You!
The Beach, Eats Rams for breakfast 😅
Gotta hand it to ya, I wouldn't have the nerve to take a 1500 on the beach let alone that massive rollback....
I was born and raised on the beach. I’ve probably spent more time on the sand than most people have spent on pavement.
I know what to look for when going off-road.
