  • The process used to clean and rebuild the HEUI Injectors common to the legendary 7.3 powerstroke ford/navistar engine. It's too expensive to buy replacements and most shops won't even rebuild them anymore. What a shame. I got through the whole process from disassembly to reassembly.

The amount of different chemicals you expose your hands to is astounding. That's coming from a daily diesel mechanic.

Indeed. He's got a good video here but all those chems just soak into the blood stream. For a long time I thought if ya didn't have grease on your hands, you weren't working. But as I got older and understood the body a little better not to mention being warned about the toxic effects of all these oils have, I wear the rubber gloves now and when they tear I put on new ones.

@@mattm3492 You could have just said, show me. But instead you want to act like a clown. So answer me this, at 6:56 in video when you lift off the plate, the drainback notch in the base is opposite the clamp "flat side" you refer to it as. Which is the direction of the connector, the top side, which makes sense because that's the bottom. But at 35:30 in the video, you line them all up with drain back notch at the top.
