With the first myth, you don't have to go through that whole thing to check for dittos and zoruas/zoroarks. You can actually aim at the pokemon with a pokeball and it'll display the name ditto/zorua/zoroark instead of the form they're copying. You can't see the original form, but the name is enough
yup but seeing them in the WILD in their actual form was the myth without engaging in battle. But 100% easier to do that lol
I also noticed, at least the one's I've seen, that they look slightly larger than the mons they're pretending to be

Pawmot can swim. I realized that there are pokemon that can swim that arent water types when I had it just running around on its own and it just ran right into the water and swam after a psyduck to kill it.
Yep. Saves time to train one against water types since they are weak to electric. Except vexing veluza, of course.
Every eeveelution except flareon can swim and the entire pikachu line too

You can run away from trainer battles but it will still count as he defeated your whole team, so It's a forfait, not a run away. Very important detail in nuzlocke
in nuzlocke it only matters if your pokemon actually die though, right?

Oh, so running away means that you still lose half your money, huh. Darn. I'd rather save prior and reload if I'm underleveled. Money is scarce at the start.

Honestly, it's so ingrained into my mind that you can't run from trainers that I willingly allow them to humble me if I come unprepared or with a bad type matchup party. That doesn't happen anymore because of my level 100 garchomp that resides permanently in my party named Trixie

I didn't know you can run away from battles! I was so confused in the early game my team kept dying because of level 40 trainers 😭
This is the first Pokemon mainline game that you can actually run away from trainer battle but you're also losing your money at the cost. You're forfeit the challenge.

I've seen ditto mimicking ditto often without having to reset the game. Less often for Zorua line, but I've seen them do that a few times too.
Hey, thanks for all those isolated shiny hunting guides, I found all the shinies I want. It also helped that the format is per typing as I can look for others when the sandwich timer hasn't run out yet.

I just love watching them surf around the water.
This is the best Pokemon game for me, with the freedom to choose what would we do and not following the current script and stuck with a boring battle, I can challenge the big difference lvl trainers, gym, or villain with my low lvl pokemon
fun fact for myth number 4, so for pokemon that learn new moves of they stay unevoled past evolution level, thise moves are forgotten when evolved. Example I had a dunsparce with poision tail, but I removed it and evolved it to dundunsparce, doing this permanently delete the move from my pokemons memory. Another time this happened was with breloom, I taught it spore as a shroomish, forgot it, and then it was never able to relearn it.

Not sure if this has been commented before;
The method to restore PP used in this shorts *ONLY* works on moves that are Permanent Egg Moves, learnt by Move Remember or Level Up. Pre-Evolution exclusive moves, Temporary Egg Moves and TMs *cannot* be relearned for PP restoration.
Pre-Evolution moves for example is Spore on Shroomish, Hex on Misdreavius and many others. Once those evolve, their evolution cannot relearn those. Serebii Scarlet & Violet Pokédex database has this info.
The difference between Egg Moves be it Permanent or Temporary is the determining factor; Did it hatch from the egg itself or was it learned via Picnic? Picnic method requires the recipient to hold Mirror Herb and a minimum of 1 empty move slot in its moveset while having a Pokémon that can teach said Egg Move. Such as Hariyama or Iron Hands with Belly Drum teaching or passing it onto Azumarill. That method result in a temporary Egg Move. If Azumarill breeds and you receive an egg, then hatch said egg and now have an infant Azurill, the Azurill will have Belly Drum and it'll be able to relearn it onwards. This is permanent Egg Move.
As for TM's, self-explanatory.
As for Move Remember, Remember Move or Move Reminder; They're the same thing, just blanking on the correct term. Is like Sunny Day for Scarlet Paradox and Electric Terrain for Violet Paradox, certain cutting moves (i.e. Psycho Cut) on Cereuledge.

It's not really an oversight when you have dozens of pp healing items in your bag you'll never need to use anyways because there's a pokemon center every 5 feet
God I didn't know you could run from trainer battles, the amount of battles I had to lost because I was in an area with more lvl that my pokemon
Myth number one is a lot of effort to both prove the myth itself wrong when under normal circumstances it’s right, and when there’s an easier method to see.. by locking onto them and reading their name
While exploring i ventured to the elete four place and fought the first trainer there easily, but when I got to the guy outside the building I had no clue what I was in for. I had level 37 and lower pokemon against his level 50s but still managed to win, it was crazy. I lost two pokemon in the process, but my Mimikyu saved the day!

Yea sometimes in my game a ditto out in the wild would be transformed as a ditto instead of a different Pokémon, like when you battled it it would “go back” into a ditto
You know that is a great way to check if the Ditto or Zoruas/zoroarks are shiny or not

I didn’t know you could run away from trainers. I was stuck in an encounter with one and could see a shiny spoink in the background. By time the battle was over, the spoink had left render range.

Bruh if only I had known I could run away any moment I wouldn’t have had to suffer the utter defeat of that one dude with a level 50 krookodile with my under level 20 team
kinda surprised by the pp move one given that in the recent gens with infinite use TMs, a pokemon would retain the current PP of a given move if it gets replaced ie a 7/15 move replaced with a 20 PP move would be 7/20 instead of the full 20/20, possibly to prevent exactly what they allow us to do in SV
Running from trainers is literally the same as getting L’d on by them, with the difference being you don’t have to watch it happen, you still lose money and still get teleported to the pokecenter

I hate how they added running away from trainers. I get how it's an "open world" Pokemon game, but they need to keep at least SOME difficulty, even with a Bug Catcher Joey.
I had a Zoraork encounter where it dropped its illusion to reveal Shiny Zoraork because apparently shiny hunting them is not hard enough
Tip: Relearning the move will restore the PP. However, if you used PP up or PP max to that move, it will be wasted as it will return to the default max PP.
E.g. Close Combat will return to a max PP value of 5/5 when you relearn it instead of 8/8 if you have previously used PP max on it.
WHAT THE HECK. After playing through the complete fricking game and fighting every trainer you tell me that you can flee from trainer battles 😂

For the first myth, that happened to me with a ditto near one of the lighthouses. However, i didnt need to close out of the game. It just spawned in undisguised
Good to know you can run away from trainers! I challenged a trainer once and realized after a minute there was a shiny Reuniclus in the distance behind the trainer.

Actually, the first one is true, as I caught a undisguised Zororak in my scarlet playthrough. It was just chillin under the shade of a tree at night (I forget the name where. But that more fall like area path that's close to the big lake for the dragon titan)
For myth 4 it's true because learning a move need tm and tm is an item. Heart scales is also an item
I told my friend about using the move relearner to restore PP but it only works if it's not a move that it learned from being a set terstal spawn (like the Fire Kirlia)
I literally hated in other games when I lost a two on two but had to use six pokemon
