  • The 241 Series shoes are designed for those hard to fit feet from narrow fit to low volume or wide fit to large volume. This model excels at accommodating feet with abnormalities such as bunions or deformations. With 8 independent fit zones the upper can be adjusted and tighten to get a secure comfortable reduced pressure fit. The ability to adjust the instep lace crossing can also address foot sensitivity along the top of the foot. The MX241 & CX241 is a great option for those who struggle to find the perfect fitting shoe.
    CX241 is Available in sizes 36-48,50 with Half Sizes in Standard width & Wide
    MX241 is Available in sizes 37-48,50 with Half Sizes in Standard width & Wide

    Hi, can you explain how I can make these work for me. The shape is good and moulding may make them even better. However, I'm getting pain in my 5th metatarsal when cycling for more than 30 min. The video mentions adjusting for arch shapes but I'm not sure what I actually change or whether I should be looking at different insoles.

    I think this shoe would be ideal for my bunion. Unfortunately the local shop here only have size 46 standard. Will probably need to order, but I'd like to get the size right (46 wide, 46.5 wide?)

    @lakecycling Are the CX241 as water resistant as CX237/238/332? The upper seems quite open for water intake. I'm considering CX238 or CX241 but I'm afraid my feet will be soaking wet in CX241 after couple minutes in a rain.

      None of the shoes mentioned are waterproof or water resistant. The leather used on the 238 has water resistant property so the leather does not rapidly soak up water, but it does not stop water from entering the shoe.

    Due to the ability to “customize” your fit with the CX241, is a Wide in this shoe necessary (if you only have a slightly wide foot)?

    • @lakecycling
      @lakecycling  Před 4 lety

      The shoe works well for people with hard to fit feet such as bunions or foot sensitivities. If you have a slightly wide foot the CX238 & MX238 could be a better option. If your foot is slightly wide and you have foot sensitivity issues the standard could be suffice.

      General bike dealers have limited capacity for customizing shoe to this extent, however some specialty bike dealer that focus on fitting and footwear accessories can sometimes provide services to make alterations to the shoes. What is shown in this video is something that can be done at home, at a shoe cobbler or at a bike dealer that has more focus on shoe fitting.
