For this particular review, I decided not to get the script checked for this review. Because like my Nightmare Ned Review, I'm using this review as a test to see if people would be interested in checking the script for my future Sean's Yearly Review episodes or not

After sitting through this movie, once for my initial thoughts. and another time for me writing the script, i think I know why this movie is called Monster Family now, and not "Happy Family". Because the characters in the movie act more monstrous towards each other than happy
While this movie isn't a ripoff of Hotel Transylvania like people claim it is. Its basically A Goofy Movie and The Incredibles, but you basically take away the substance and redeemable value in the characters
and also a precursor to The Mitchell's vs the Machines, 3 years before that film. but that movie did what this one was trying to do. But did it so much better
By the way, sorry again that parts of this review feel choppy. I tried rendering this video in a way that would make the review be more smooth this time, maybe some of the effects that I used made the review choppy in some areas. But thankfully the rendering was a little more smooth than what I had to go through with my Code Lyoko review

Just a reminder for you guys right now, in Sean's Yearly Reviews. I'm not going to be doing a review on Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka, mainly because I already gave that movie a rant where I went into why I don't like it
I'll be including the other Tom and Jerry movies. Since I haven't reviewed those movies yet (including the 2021 movie)
Me reviewing Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka for this series would be redundant. Especially since my thoughts on that movie haven't changed
Although, given the fact that i said that Monster Family is one of the worst animated movies that I've ever seen. Yes, I do find this movie worse than Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Because as lazy as it is, it atleast has a story, even though its just Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with Tom and Jerry slapped in. It has a narrative and isn't just characters derping around
Not to mention, as rehashed as they are. the characters were good natured, and didn't do anything that could send out anger
Meanwhile. Monster Family does exactly that, not to mention. Tom and Jerry Willy Wonka was somewhat pleasant to watch, and it didn't try and expect you to feel sympathy for an awful group of people. Where 2 of them treats the other 2 terribly for most of the movie, and try and make them forgive each other at the last second. Which is what Monster Family is guilty of

@@Garyfan2001 sean I have bronchitis to where I can barely move my hands of legs I also was attacked by a lot of people for no reason. They tried to put me on fire I'm so hurt I'm banned from Facebook I can't even. Anyone that I'm hurt
16:11 on this I absolutely agree :D and I'm no debating anything else you broth up. But all the rant that are understandable. I have one is huge with the move that stands out, and dwarfs all other problems. Why is Drakula immune to the sun, and cold(he wants to free the planet), except in the end of the move where he is not :D?

You read that script like it wasn't there and the passion behind that voice was incredible

@@Zentron considering the fact that i already consider the original film as one of the worst animated movies that I've ever seen (even Chicken Little and The Nut Job are better than that movie)
Things are already at a low bar for the sequel, but I'm not sure if I'm going to find it as bad. Or worse than the original, because of how the original was void of any actual story. and how awful the characters are for most of the movie
