She's absolutely right. Hearing these voices harmonize together through the decades makes her catalog of music consistent and grounded. If you are a young fan, the stuff from the 1980's blends beautifully with anything she's doing today.
I love the way Stevie shares the stage ... She stands back & let's the girls shine or anybody else for that manner.. & I do take comfort that she has never changed her band, , this tells me that people must love to work w/ her & she is a great person ... That speaks volumes if you've been in the same band for 30+ years Stevie wants to share the wealth... I love her
It’s a testament to character to keep the same singers...Stevie is the big name so it’s all on her.... she controls the show... and it’s good to keep the others who helped you get there,,, on the payroll and limelight
Spot on as usual, Stevie. Things would not sound or feel the same without Sharon and Lori. The three of you have a special connection that we fans do appreciate very much. Your harmonies melt the heart. Love hearing the girls voices alone, too. Beautiful.

Sharon is absolutely beautiful. She probably could have had a solo career but whatever. She chose to stick with Stevie. And that's not a bad choice. She brings a lot to the stage.

Love Sharon and Lori! I also love Marilyn Martin, Sandy Stewart and Maria Vidal (Some of her other background singers). All three of them have released albums in their careers.
I love Lori and Sharon. I'm glad she never switched out back vocals on her band. I believe they all worked to hard together to ever split up. they are all AWSOME together!

I think you're misinterpreting her comment about Madonna. To me, it's clear that she refers to Madonna as an artist who has, unlike her, changed her collaborators throughout her career.
If you look back through Madonna’s career she always changed after each record. There are so many different Madonna’s, she is a chameleon.

I do like that she has this core group of singers. One of the only things I dislike about Dave Stewart's excellent production of Stevie is that he doesn't use Sharon and Lori enough. They seem to be pushed way back in the mix and not as easy to hear.

An acapella version of “Lady from the Mountain” - it was recorded specifically for the film and isn’t available anywhere
Stevie also mixed parts of “Lady from the Mountain” in with a new poem and created the song “Moonlight”
I already said it once but Sharon was ALWAYS cute and a lot more classy than Lori (waving her arms around in the early NOT NOW THOUGH) but what did Sharon do to her nose. She really didn't need plastic surgery just contacts!!!! Yeah the girls were quite the party mavens all along with Stevie!!!

So Stevie Nicks is basically a trio like Destiny's Child or Wilson Phillips, but the other women don't get much credit.
Singing and doing blow with her for years!!! Read Dave Stewart's book. They were all so coked out when he went to her house after a show it wasn't funny!!!
