Long-time Central Florida resident here: The venue is in the middle of a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful of the families that live there. Crimes of opportunity will happen to folks who are not paying attention to their surroundings, so keep an eye on each other to stay safe, especially after closing when crowds are dispersing.
What kind of crimes is it dangerous there
@@freyafoxmusic Just the “usual” stuff . . . taking unattended stuff, bait & switch scams, occasional car-jackings. If you’re in a noisy crowd proximal to an event you will be fine. Violent crimes in this area are usually targeted hits or one-off local issues.

Good tips. I brought a camelpak in 2019, and only really bought water when i needed something cold. My friend and i tried the specialty drinks that were available, and they weren't that good for the price. We ended up just buying 4lokos for alcohol. I woud also recommend getting some light diffraction glasses off amazon. The ferris wheel looks so dope at night with them on.

ThanXxXx, I'm going to this and it's actually my 1st EDC (I guess I picked the 1 that's closest to Staten Island for my 1st time lol), 1st time in Florida, 1st time on a plane, AnD 1st festival I'm going to by myself. Hopefully you'll have a meet-up or something, so I can see somebody I "know" for 10 or 20 seconds 😁...

Our go to meet up spot if someone gets separated is always right in front of the Lost & Found.
Does anyone have any guess on when they might be releasing shuttle info? I booked a hotel within walking distance to Home Bass thinking I'd just get the weekend party pass - that way I can join in on the festivities whenever I, have my own quiet room to retreat to when I need, and have transportation. But...that $$ though! Holding off on that until I see what the shuttle transportation options are.

I've lived in Orlando since 2005 and I have never had the chance to go to EDC because I always find out about it after the fact and I'm unable to take off and go. I'm planning to finally go this year due to my friend who used to live in Orlando who's coming from California wants me to go so might be a group of us.

Emma i think you mentioned that Wyndham was going to have more bass sets at their parties compared to avanti more of a house vibe, is that correct ?
That's what the plan was in 2020, but I haven't heard them mention that for this year! I'm waiting to see if they split them up that way.

I know to get in you need proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test result, but there's obviously a risk with all of this. There's no guarantee they can prevent you getting sick so just do what feels comfortable for you. You can wear a mask the whole time and try to stand towards the back, bring hand sanitizer, etc.
