What insight and tips do you have for people attending festivals on the east coast? 🤔💭
I live in Orlando and I'm going to my first EDC / Rave Festival in 2 weeks. So the way the weather works here I'm very used to and prepared for any crazy ass rain that may come my way. For those who are not from Florida may see this video make sure you have a poncho or umbrella at all times and sunscreen
im from FL, you need to invest in liquid IV packets or even the amazon pedialyte packets for ALL festivals not just the East Coast ones. They always lt you bring them in, I brought about 5 packets in a day at EDCLV and UMF to share with my crew cause drinking just water alone begins to cause the body to let go of water IE turning water into a diuretic, you need salt in your water AKA electrolytes because of the constant flushing your body is doing. drinking too much regular water will in fact dehydrate you, just stick to electrolyte packs or even adding salt to your water or taking in salt before the event with magnesium makes a world of difference, even if you just drink alcohol and dont do anything else.

Tip about Florida festivals is that you should go later in the day thats when the air cools down. Around 3 PM.

I will be attending EDCO 2022 this year (my 5th) and I always keep Tampons and condoms (and if I’m able to get donations to help pay for them I’ll also have MDMA and Fentanyl test kits) I will be walking around with a Rick and Morty Back pack with a totem that says “Oh Shit Back Pack”

Jeans, shorts, tank tops. And maybe 1 light jacket. Otherwise you’re going to feel sticky and hot

I don’t think so, but Defqon.1 and Tomorrowland in Europe will have awesome live streams.

Electric Forest is actually in Michigan, so northern Midwest United States, probably will do a midwestern or maybe northern US video fi festivals as well 🧐
Cotton Kandi Raves gotcha, I was going off time zones so that makes sense! I was going to be bummed if it was forgotten haha. I do agree that weather out here on the east coast is hard to predict. I usually say plan for the worst and hope for the best!

I’m a Florida native and I can simply say Florida is bipolar when it comes to weather. November is still hot, rainy, and a little bit of cool breeze (because of humidity). Other than that, very unpredictable
