The biggest shock of the entire series is Marie covering for Debra.
Only so she could keep control over everyone and everything. Marie doesn't love or care about anyone.
Frank also did for Debra in another episode. Just for different reasons.
@@tombailey837 That's not true. Marie does love and care about everyone, but in a different way that often comes off as annoying. However, if she didn't love Debra in her own way, she would have just let Ray be mad at Debra - and by covering up for Debra, she also gets a tiny bit of control over Debra that she never had previously.
Agreed about the control thing but i do also believe that she knew Ray would go easier on her over it than he would on Debra. Deep down she wouldnt have liked to see them break up. She helped Debra when it really mattered. Dont let a suitcase full of cheese be your fork and spoon. Lol. She helped her there as well @tombailey837
Marie does love Debra, just in a different way to the others. A lot of what Marie does is because she sees Debra as a threat to the love Ray and Frank have for her, and she wouldn’t feel that way if she didn’t care for and respect Debra in some way.

Wow Debra was in a panic there she really did feel bad on what she did. It was an accident tho, mildly inexcusable just a bit. I say a bit because well if it was that important to ray like a normal person you put something like that in an IMPORTANT PLACE. kinda funny how it's the other way around here where she's terrified and he's incredibly angry.
Accident nothing. What she did was irresponsible. She should have checked every piece of paper because she may have thrown out something containing vital information.
