It serves to remind us of what children can gain from a childhood spent outdoors in the company of animals … and what they lose when their childhoods are spent indoors in the sole company of electronic devices.
Ummm! It almost felt as if I were there amongst you! Kept thinking I should be picking up all the smells: the horses, their bodies, their coats, their warmth, the earth, the wind... beautiful. You and they are very blessed. The trust is very evident :) Thanks for a glimpse of Heaven.

Awww sweet Lianne ❤ I think she will be the leader of the foals. She is strong and independent. She has shown Lina that you are not to be feared. I love seeing how close they are. The others still stay close to their moms, but those two quickly leave their moms to run and greet you. I love watching them grow and develop their own personalities 🥰🥰🥰

Aww Yvonne... i am loving this.. what i have learned about horse herd behaviour.... Elsie puts her ears back to the others cos she is lead and telling them oi! But also you are in the field so much that the foals and mares are very used to you and possibly consider YOU lead... but you are aware of horse behaviour and know when to ‘back off’ without them then thinking they have ‘made’ you move your feet! Love love these friesians, they are stunningly beautiful....thanks Yvonne xx

We mostly keep all the little ones. When they get older we sell them.

This is such a great video. I swear it's just as good as meditation! It's so relaxing. I love all of the descriptions that you provide of the horse's expressions and their body language. It really opens up the experience for me. I also like hearing you pronounce their names over and over again because, even though I don't understand the language, it sounds really cool. I also really enjoy looking at your close-ups of the foals, where we get a good look at their hooks and their hawks and their noses and such. They are such a beautiful breed and they are so relaxed and gentle. The highlight of my day.

It is very interesting how horses use their ears to show signs of their moods and what they might be thinking. I watch my cats' ears also. We can determine their emotions and moods by watching their ears to help you to figure out if you want to approach them or not. Thank you for posting this video. Love it!

I’m taking a break from baking Christmas 🍪 cookies and such a treat to watch these beautiful 🐴 and so relaxing. As much as I like these horses, their size is frightening to me...their hooves are the size of dinner plates! So I enjoy getting so close to the younger ones...their curly fur, long eyelashes, and the sound of wind. I imagine I pull up a chair to be close and watch....so relaxing! Thank you🥰

We don't treat because the horses get used to it and it can give dangerous situations if I walk in the pasture with all horses.
So only if we did ride or drive and they are in their stall or in the pasture again. We treat.
