It's so surreal because just a few days ago Yvonne posted a video of her riding grownup Klaske. And here we see her when she's only a day old. That's why watching these videos is so fulfilling.
I need to look for the video of Yvonne riding a frown up Klaske. ❤. I would love to watch that. I have always thought Klaske was special❤
Isn't it amazing - this little beauty was inside her Mama a day ago. 100 lbs. of incredible life, strength and potential, curled within her. No wonder she is feeling buoyant now ! And Klaske … truly a miracle that just like in the wild, this baby can stand and shortly run by her Mama … thank you for showing us your protocol of letting Mama and baby learn to stay together . It must be more difficult for the baby to be in a herd of horses the first time this happens. Sanne Aukje was sniffing to see who in her herd had been there before them - she's getting ready to introduce her incredible baby to them ... Two gorgeous, miraculous Fresians ! Thank you for showing them to us !!!
Klaske is beautiful and Mama must still be exhausted although they recover much faster than we do. Watching this breed run is hypnotic in its effortless grace. Never get tired watching them.
When you look at the Foal, and imagine it inside of the Mare just "yesterday", it is truly amazing that such a large "baby" was able to fit!
Her mummy is very gentle , also very proud of her new baby. So sweet ♥️

Amazing. Twenty four hours ago Klaske struggled to stand. Now she can walk, trot, and gallop without even thinking about it. I’m sure God greatly enjoyed creating horses. 😊

And now we meet the last of the 2019 fillies. Sweet little Klaske! I remember wondering how they could have had seven fillies and no colts! Then along came Jonah Rein to be the little brother.

Thank you for liking my comment. I’ve lost four family members in the past couple of years. When I was young I had my own horses. Those were my happiest days of my life. Watching these beautiful black horses being mothers to their colts make me remember my beautiful horses that I raised.

Sweet Klaske! She’s such a beautiful mover as an adult but she was such a goofball when she was little. She could be mischievous sometimes and an absolute darling at others. It’s nice to go back and watch them when they were babies. Especially the ones who’ve been sold to new homes. ❤
I don't think it's possible to grow tired of watching these beauties. It's amazing that she is only 1 day old, and so fast, so graceful, so quick to follow her mom, actually, when you think about it. We couldn't POSSIBLY do that at 1 day old. Although a 1 day-old baby can indeed pick out the voices of both its father and its mother across a crowded nursery. That's true!

Yay, I just saw this video of Klaske. I know she's different and finer than the rest but something about her Is so graceful and beautiful. She always seems to be overlooked. I had never seen this video and was happy it showed up in my CZcams suggestions!

Friesians are SO gorgeous! Love their gait, their hoof fringe (whatever the real term is) their manes, their size... Always amazed at how quickly mares recover from giving birth in all horses!
@Christine Still, the tuffs of hair on the back of the fetlocks are called 'feathers' in the US. Appropriate name in this case. So pretty!

I've had horses for over 30 years and to this day I am amazed at quickly mares recover from giving birth...not to mention how quick a foal is to get on its feet and moving. Nature keeps me awestruck!!

I revisited this video in March 2022. I loved how vocal Klaske was and how her Mem kept turning her head to Yvonne as she trotted by, as if to say "don't we look great?". Klaske is now grown and has every bit (and more) of the beautiful bearing and form of a Star (maybe Crown someday)Mare as her mother and Aunties.

This is the first time I saw Klaske as a baby! One day old and she kept up with her beautiful mother. I just saw where you sold Sanne Aukje and she was pregnant. That baby was so tiny and beautiful. I loved the way the mother leaned down to touch the baby's face. Sweetest bonding moment yet!
