Wintersun - Sons Of Winter And Stars (TIME I Live Rehearsals At Sonic Pump Studios) REMASTER " is a Finnish musician who became known as the singer-guitarist of the metal band Ensiferum in 1996-2004. In 2003, after the recording of Ensiferum's second album, Mäenpää left the band and set out to build his own solo project, which became Wintersun"

Wintersun is a great band, and I find that it has a different sound than Ensiferum, less folk-ish and somehow heavier. Wintersun has been a great influence for other bands, such as Frozen Crown (from Italy, none the less!)

I really love this channel! Your dedication to metal is inspiring. May I suggest Ensiferum's two first records, since they include frontman Jari Mäenpää on vocals, guitar and songwriting. Also, his later band "Wintersun" is among the best in the world. You should really try the live rehearsals from Sonic pump studios. My favourite song from that session is Sons of Winter and Stars, but I would like to shout out the first album too, since it has more of the Ensiferum energy and pace. I promise you will like it.

I've seen it, the video is pretty fun! They look alot more 'normal' than when they're on stage, haha. Still haven't listened to Thalassic yet though - but the reviews I saw on Twitter looked good! -Michael

    Greetings from Finland.
There would be a couple of suggestions for the channel. The first would be one of the best Finnish metal bands. Wintersun Time live rehearsal Sonic Pump studio.
The other would be a children's song in the Finnish way. Hevi Saurus 100 live.

Ensiferum, Korpiklaani and Verjnuarmu, the bands that were my bridge into metal. And I very much approve what you did with the Conan video and In my swords I trust. First, because I'm a big fan of Conan stories, read books, own heaps of magazines and am playing Age of Conan online-game, and second because what you picked from the movie was actually about the sword. Good fan video! Yeah what's our lovely metal maiden's name? Do see them Conan movies, and have beer, mead or whatever that sets you in merry mood. Yeah they kinda go together. It's like important civilization to know the barbarian. And great you had found live performances for these songs!

You should try Heavy Metal Perse (ass!), they play traditional heavy metal (Running Wild is an influence) and sing in Finnish. They are absolutely awesome!

Isolation songs would be very suitable for the times we are currently living in, isn't it? Maybe it is stereotypical, but there is something, in my opinion, that the Finns are very good at: writing music about melancholy. - Anamaria
