    I put the honda 2.3 hp air cooled outboard on mine so if I get into some mud or weeds there is no cooling system to plug up. Nice work guys good luck and stay safe.

      Nice Tim! The air cooled is the way to go! Good luck this season!

    i have 3 of them and i added 2 2x3 boards in the pockets of the floor and then attached 1/2 pressure treated plywood to stand and set on , that made a world of difference and didn't add much weight . also i added a brace on each side of the lip to the floor so the top rail stays up when you lean or set on it

    Might be a stupid question but I think you guys would probably have an answer. I hunt a lot of rivers that get pretty shallow in spots and have large rocks throughout. How to you think the final attack would handle some abuse? Also considered breaking and welding up an aluminum bottom that wrapped up over the front to protect the nose. And then break up the other three sides just enough to protect the bottom edges. Maybe an inch high. Slide the boat into the nose and then set down in the tray and strapped it on. Think that would work? Or would it be wasted time doing that

      We hunted very rocky spots early season with our final attacks. The wheels got caught on every rock as far as abuse these boats are very tough. would not be worried about putting a hole in it.

    What's up fella's? Looks like yall are doing a great job on them boats! I live in Summerville S.C. and have family up in Camden near yall! Want on of those boats for myself! How are they when riding to your hunting spots? How is stability and comfort while waiting for sunrise? Any info would be great! Keep up the good work!

    • @blakerease
      @blakerease  Před 4 lety

      Hey Bradford, the comfort level would be a 6 out of 10. when riding to your hunting spot if you have anything over 7 to 8 mph winds I highly recommend staying off big water. waves will come over the vessel if not powered thru with the outboard. The 3.5 hp is awful. mosquitoes will bite you as your going full throttle. The stability is amazing I drive it while standing up sometimes. I will try and get a video of us hunting out of it when the second split comes around. by the way these rigs will be for sale at the end of the season to make room for next years duck rigs!

    You need to go into more detail and bring us thru step by step and tell us where to get the items that are used and name brands of the gear used

    Great boat bro , I just ordered this boat for fishing & I’m going to pair it with Suzuki 2.5hp my question is do this boat need long shaft or short shaft outboard like 15’’ or 20 ‘’ ? Thanks 🙏

    • @blakerease
      @blakerease  Před 3 lety

      Short shaft is what you need, the long shaft on porters final attack would get caught on everything and plowed. the short shaft would cavitate if you were to sit in the wrong spot but seemed to do a much better job.

    There are almost no good videos on the review of this beavertail final attack. This video is the only one ive ever seen of a electronics and battery set-up for accessories. Can you please release more videos on this beavertail and the control panel set-up and maybe run time of led flood lights and what you can and cant run with your battery set-up?

    Hey what paint did y’all use ? Thanks

    • @blakerease
      @blakerease  Před 3 lety

      We ended up using some spray paint. it held up okay, we heated the plastic afterwards and it seemed to make a difference on how well it stuck.

    How did you guys stiffin the floor

    • @blakerease
      @blakerease  Před 4 lety

      We left the floor stock. Adding any weight was out of the question for us.

      So ive been using mine with a ppf wood duck long tail with the tillotson 212 and i do about 12-13 fully loaded with gear. I did notice if u stand in the side gunnels the center beaus up with water and planes off fast, i also removed my wheels and have gotten into some really shallow mud on the coast much better
