❤love ur vids keep it upp❤
Where are the Yuty”s? I can’t find any
Mesas, bro. Those mountain/ cliff structures are called mesas
Hey Syntac do you ever plan on another Jurassic ark series or any seriously modded series in asa for the future?
BTW, the desert mountains are called Buttes. Pronounced Beuutts kinda fun to say actually
41:56 that silence was too loud 🤣🤣🤣
Fr though that shouldn't be in a red drop
@@kiggles9069 didn't you see axeman's video? He also got scammed by exactly those two things..🤣🤣🤣
@@mrutyunjayaparida2869 yeah first thing I did was go find axemans video because I was sure that was him, but it must just be a bug
😂😂😂
He died inside.
I like how Syntac is in denial over that failed max level Saber tame and decided to just name the wolf Lv 150 wild Sabertooth😁
Wonder how others would react if the wolf somehow decided raid their base for some reason 😂
what wolf?
Theres no wolf in the video
I was gonna say this 😂
Right like took 20 years to try to “do a trap” when he could have just tranqed the saber and bola in a safe spot instead he over thought it and failed lol
Time stamp 50:00
The rock formations would be called one of three things. Depends the size smaller ones are buttes, medium ones are mesas, and large ones are plateaus
Thank you I was coming here to comment this
@@andyhanlin5800 hello, fellow american southwesterners
I was coming here to say that too. I learned it like last week cause there's a butte on the can for Mtn Dew Purple Thunder. Lmao
was about to comment the same thing lol
We were all here for the same thing lol
I want to see Syntac go in on making a perfect Reginald. Mutated and beautiful colors. A Winston of Scorched Earth.
The WC employee who put stone in red cave drops loot pool was definitely trolling everyone 😂
I seriously don't get it. The red cave loot crates are literally 30 times worse than the grey supply drops. I wish I was exaggerating
That red drop gave me the hardest Syntac laugh since probably the 2nd DOX series, I'm still in tears 😂
I quite literally LOLed when he finally opened the red drop after everything he went through getting access to it... 😂🤣😂
Appreciate the historical perspective anecdotes. Playing from 2017-18 you don’t realize that at one time that was unknown.
Yeah there was always rumors about ascension but it didn't come until mid 2017. Up until then we didn't even know ARKs were in space lol
The old gaming evolved days glad four of ya are still friends and having adventures together
Gaming Evolved was great times
The flat top rock formations are called Mesa if they are wider than they are tall, or butte if they are taller than they are wide.
13:11 Perfect timing by Reginald right there
I distinctly remember getting 1 simple bullet and 10 stone from my red cave loot drop as well
I got 15 stone water intake pipes and a metal door frame out of my last red cave drop. Reminds me of when we used to get a compass Blueprint in every 7 out of 10 blue drops 😂
I think the cave carving thing would be called a “relief”, where stone is carved to crated detailed raised sections that appear to have been placed on top on the flat carved background :)
SYNTAC!! Use your shovel on your crop plots. It gives growth bonus!
42:56 in a red drop of all things
Lmao the silence on that red drop was so funny 😂😂
41:50 died laughing and couldn't stop xD
Syntac: So we're in the middle of everybody's favorite weather event here on Scorched Earth
Me, assuming he's being sarcastic: sand storm
Syntac, who was in fact NOT being sarcastic: Rain
Nice of Syntac to include the terror bird in the fun stuff since you know... hes kind of special.
Just finished watching last video and greeted with a new one 16 seconds later.
"are you having a laugh?" i was legitimately crying
50:20 I think those landforms are called buttes. Very steep/vertical sides with a small and relatively flat top, common in the Western U.S. A butte has a top that is narrower/smaller than its height, while a mesa has a top that is wider/larger than its height.
Never a dull day when Syntac uploads
you 100% need to make a church for the gallimimus overlord with maybe mantis in there praying
Haven't read all the comments, but those steep land features are called butte(s) :) Great content, thank you for your efforts!
I was thinking hoodoos but I think those are slightly different. Also I think you should say how to pronounce that since Syntac called a dhole a “D-hole” 😅, still funny though
I thought that's what they're called but didn't comment because I wasn't 100% sure lol
Hey Syn just so you know, if you “consume” the map, then hit double M to open the waypoint map, you then can right click on the map waypoints to officially add them to your map. Then when you hop on your Dino, and the “normal one” goes away, you double tap M again and then left click and it will show up while you are riding.
syntac: are you having a laugh?!
me: laughing manically at the x 10 stone in the red drop
41:56 BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA someone clip that lmfao
The mountains are technically called buttes (: I had to hold my breath so many times in that cave, Syn!!
That cliff/mountain is called a mesa.
Those mountains are called mesas. They are from plateaus that have eroded away from the range.
The sheer cliffs are called plateaus!!!
that sabertooth might be wrong, but the denial is SO right! 😂
50:25 they are called butte. Surprised no one has commented that yet.
That specific formation is a Butte (or a mesa)! a real life example is Chimney Rock in Colorado
I figured someone would tell you in the last video but they have failed you... the strange shaped "mountains" in Scorched are Mesas! There are also Plateaus and Buttes that can look similar.👍
Those mountains are called mesa. Just wanted to help lol. Great content. Keep up the great work. 💯
Syntac being in denial abput the Saber will never not be funny. And yeah the Scorched Caves are amazing.
Those rock formations are called Buttes and Dikes. The larger area ones are called mesas
The Oil Jar and 10 Stone, You got ARKED so hard!
Day 14 of telling syntac that he is making everybody's day better😂
The "mountains" or "cliffs" are actually mesas. Mesas are flat topped mountains and hills
butte /byoo͞t/
noun
A hill that rises abruptly from the surrounding area and has sloping or vertical sides and a flat top.
A detached low mountain, or high rising abruptly from the general level of the surrounding plain; -- applied to peculiar elevations in the Rocky Mountain region.
An isolated hill with steep sides and a flat top.
i believe the term for those cliff types, is butte. i'd say mesa or plateau, but being they are thinner, thats the term apparently.
I also find it funny, y'all have a habit of putting precious items in the 0 slot and stroll into pego country and then bam the shocked pikachu face happens. good times😁
You know what would be funny, if wildcard messed up something and in one of the caves you just see an ousisour
Those towering cliffs do have another name. They're called a butte (pronounced "byoot").
The “mountains” are called mesas…loving the content, keep it coming!!
For the mountain debate name, there are things called the mesas, which are flat top mountains. We have a them out here in Arizona in the US. Also there are things called buttes which are like smaller mesas thay have eroded over time. Thats what these mountains in game kind of look like
The Mountains Are Called Buttes Syntac
Those types of mountain formations are known as Mesa.
Idk how you didn’t know but the flying mantis is actually something WC added to the game. Only a few mantis know the art of flyitsu 😂
I giggled every time he was wondering why they were flying. I mean... praying mantises CAN fly. They do have wings.
@syntac the Cliff mountains are actually called "Mesa" it's a spanish word that means table. most people associate the word with a biome but it actually refers to the plateau cliff mountains.
Those types of mountain formations are called a "butte"
Base looking great. Always looking forward to the next build
They are called Mesa, Spanish for table because it is a flat top mountain
We call the cliffs also Plateau's of Bluff's in Idaho.
Your from Idaho too! 🎉
This upload schedule is crazy Syntac. Lovin the content and happy to watch ASA as I can’t play it sadly, but at least I can watch my favorite CZcamsr have fun with ASA.
I’ve been with you since day one on scorch earth when you said let’s grab our level 150 saver I was like when did you get that?😂😂😂 4:31
The word you’re looking for when talking about the mountains is a Mesa
bro the silence after the red drop im crying 😂😂😂😂
When rock formations like that are shaped into smaller pillars, they are called Hoodoos
The tall flat rock formations are called Buttes! (byoot) :3 They're very common in the western US!
Thanks for the memories all of them you've helped me through some hard times.
17:53 Syntac mispoke here and accidentally called the level 150 saber a direwolf
That's so funny. The arrows and stone being in a red drop had someone in a server I was playing on pissed. They though someone was trolling. No, it is just ark. Can't believe it happens on Scorched Earth too cause this happened on Island!
Hi syntac i know i’m late but i wanted to let you know that the cliffs are called crags looking up! :) ❤️
I was waiting for the carno to not be there, as the message when it was snagged was 'took your empty cryopod'. Happened to me on Evolved that I literally got back an empty crypod from a Pego that had a Terror Bird I had literally just tamed inside.
The 'mountains' remind me of mesas like they have in the midwest states of the US.
That 5.5 armor pants is godly😂😂
Nice work syntac I have been watching the whole series and have been enjoying it keep it up!
Syntac, the tall "mountains" are called Mesa's, medium ones are called Plateau, and small ones are called Butte.
The sheer rock formations in Scorched Earth do have a specific name: it's called a Butte (Bew-t).
Some people cave for the loot, some people cave for the thrill, I cave for the spontaneous burlesque shows starring arthros.
Those “mountains” are called Mesas btw and I don’t mind you talking about old times and just talking about other things with the game. I personally enjoy hearing about it since I’m one of the newbies to ark
They are called Butte (sounds like the beaut in beautiful) - which are smaller than messas, plateaus, or tablelands. :)
The mountain things you’re talking about are called stacks or “sea stacks” Formed by wave erosion. Scorched earth used to be underwater.
The rock formations are called Mesas.
19:10
IT'S A PRAYING MANTIS
I always thought the cliffs/mountains in SE were called mesas
3:57 that treasure chest was just goated
I can’t wait to see your series on the center!!! Also can’t wait for the new Dino on the center it’s gonna be awesome!!! 😀👍
8:48 nice wording to protect your income.
The 2 names you may be thinking of are plateau (flat top) or Basalt Columns (6 sided structures that make high standing rock out croppings).
With all the work you put into the town and the future train plans I think you should cluster this map. Add the center and do your playthrough on there but then you will have the awesome towns you all have built for future game play
Honestly I hate how much they destroyed the caves of this map. They got rid of all the ruins and designs on the cave walls. The drawing of the manticore, the guy ascending to the obelisk, all of it
I rewatched the killing of the pego several times and if you hadn't pulled out the wolf to look for corpses I could have sworn it straight disappeared. Might have been more obvious if it was day time but at that time of day it was practically invisible lol.
that cryo issue with the carno is why when I'm out and taming things I put all the cryos on my creature. But then again I use boosted stats so my creatures aren't really gonna die, so it might only work for me but Ive never had a pego steal a cryo from my creature.
I think that the rock formations/mountains are called buttes or table top mountains
42:07 yes, yes i am
xD
That red drop is absolutely hilarious
They're called buttes I believe.
Great content, really enjoying the scorched series! Depending on the size, the mountains shaped like the ones in the center Scorched are called Mesas or Buttes. If there were any that were much larger, they would be Plateaus.
Thanks for the video. Having fun watching.
Loving your series so far! I think the mountain formations are called Mesas, similar to what is in Monument Valley.
"What are you praying?"
A Praying Mantis?
50:23 I’ve always called them buttes.
There IS a special name for the tall rock formations in Scorched; they're called Mesas or Butes.
I don’t know if anyone has commented this but you can get the Treasure Maps on the island too. I’m running a cluster of the two maps for my friends and I and have gotten them on the island
The cliffs are called buttes (long u). Also you can help fight super heat by putting canteens in the refrigerator. It turns it into ice water and gives you a buff against the heat
