- Finally, 7 months after we ordered them, we received our shipment of the Strapcode Angus Five Linker' for the Seiko SARB033. This heavy link original bracelet elevates the SARB033 to another level, blowing away the stock bracelet.
Combining all solid links, and 6 position micro-adjustment, we are confident this is the best upgrade you can do for your SARB033.

Thank you for watching.
I’m probably in the minority but I think it looks better on the OEM bracelet.
Joining your camp, brother :)
Totally agree. I think the oem bracelet looks great as is. Plus something about the strap code bracelets that I've seen just really doesn't do it for me.
Completely agree. It’s way too chunky for a small Rolex explorer style watch. The bracelet needs to be thin and I love how the end links look great on the Oem, the only downside is the clasp gap, other wise amazing bracelet.
Agree. All design guidelines are broken putting this bracelet on the Sarb. Too beefy and the clasp is something you would put on a big diver, not a dressier watch as the Sarb. In short it's a mismatch.
You are so right. I actually own an Angus Jubilee and used it a short while on my SARB017 Alpinist, and it is just too much: too massive, too thick and too blingy for these watches. And the clasp is perhaps even thicker than the watch head... the poor SARBs can't shine on these. I actually put my 017 on a bracelet I took from one of my 8926 OB Invictas. Fits perfectly, but in case of th SARB 033 and 035, I do think the original is just fine. MAYBE a Super Jubilee from Strapcode would fit better...?
I might consider if it were half the price. $124 is outrageous.
The "angus" design overwhelms this watch, the proportions do not look right. I think the "super jubilee" version would have been a home run.
I thought so too, but it works.
I think the main problem with the Angus Jubilee is that it doesn't taper, hence it looks chunky. If it tapered to say, 18 mm I think it will look better.
As soon as I saw it I felt the same. The Super Jubilee was perfect but the Angus drowns it. So I’m still looking for a decent Jubilee for my Sarb035....
I absolutely agree. I own 2 skx013 super jubilees and I love it....Uncle seiko jubilee has hollow end links and folded clasp and is overpriced ...waiting for strapcode to make the super jubilee for my sarb033 and 035
I think uncle seiko has one
im not sure why they went with the angus jubilee. its too bulky for a 38mm dress watch imo. i have a super jubilee on an skx and its an amazing pairing. the skx is a decently bigger watch than the sarb and having a bulkier jubilee on the smaller watch just doesnt make much sense to me. the clasp is over kill too. 4 micro adjustments would be plenty. 6 just makes the clasp huge. i may seem like im complaining but the bracelet has the potential to be perfect. i guess everyone has a different opinion. itll sell out regardless.
Couldn't agree more. Especially the big clasp on a dress watch is a terrible mismatch.
apparently the skx013 oem jubilee works on with the sarb033. the jubilee definitely works with the sarb end links and apparently the skx013 end links can be shaped well because theyre hollow. just ordered one from marc. the one bad thing about the sarb end links in this case is that they leave an "empty link" in the centre.
I agree the clasp is large, but I do like the look of the links.
I'm with you. The SARB with those gargantuan D-links is distracting. I like the SARB on a bracelet more than leather, so perhaps I'm in the "OEM bracelet" camp too.
I just installed this bracelet on my SARB033 and I can tell you it absolutely does not overpower or overwhelm this watch. What it does is take an already nice watch and makes it look like a watch that costs much, much more than it does. It's stunning with this bracelet and it feels amazing as well. It really is quality. I will be ordering one for my Islander diver. Great video Marc.
I agree that it is too much for the watch. A super jubilee with female endlinks would be perfect. Also I kinda agree the price is a little dear. Why doesn't strapcode use more female end links? Pretty much everybody likes them.
I have noticed that when you use the micro-adjust, the links of the bracelet that go in get scratched by the hinging action against the buckle closure. I definitely prefer it attached at the last micro-adjustment hole (the way it comes stock).
I loved your honesty with the Pre-Intro. Was really good. The bracelet looked good too
Thanks.
I'm more an Oyster than Jubilee kind of person myself - the SARB033 is on the short list of "next Seiko" (hopefully before it's too late), and I'd love to see an improved version of the stock bracelet. Hm... I see Strapcode DOES have one. Nice.
Love that jubilee braclet, ive toyyed with getting myself a SARB033 for about a year now. Nearly went for it a few times but backed out, I don't know why this is an awesome watch, looks so elegant and classic. Now this braclet is out it's making me consider the watch all over again lol.
Great video Mark, thankyou.👍🏼👌
Thanks for watching it.
Mate, you made removing that bracelet look so easy! My spring bars must have been seized up or something - it felt like I was shucking an oyster with a sewing needle. Nearly strained a peck.
Haha, Nice try! I like the original bracelet, It just looks right to me.
I really like what they are doing, I just wish they would offer a heavy taper model. Like from 20mm to 16mm. I think it would give it a dressier look.
Didn't think of that.
Oem or leather strap for me on a sarb for sure
Just received my Angus bracelet today from yourself Mark, absolutely love it. Thank you. Great service to the UK 👍
I bought the Strapcode from longislandwatch for my SKX009, and I love it. I wear the SKX much more often now.
Great bracelet.
Good tutorial Mark! Thanks!
Maybe it was the lighting or my perception but I can tell that the shade of the Angus stainless steel is brighter compared to the shade of brushing of the Sarb033. One look is enough to tell the difference and not cohesive.
Actually pretty shocked. I always assumed the only difference between the 33 and the 35 was cosmetic (face). I really like the strapcodes but I'm generally using the 33 as a dresser with leather straps.
Me too; I'm not sure why as I never tried it.
Lol yea it makes no sense. I don't understand how it's possible; I thought they were the same watch just different dials.

Looks fine, maybe a bit large. My main concern would be the fit of the end links. That gap would bug me a lot, especially at that price, considering its meant for this watch specifically
I was waiting for the strapcode jubilee for the sarb033. I ordered already in longisland watch. Thanks Mark!
Thank you.
I put a gator on my SARB035 and it looks like a millions bucks, although it is strange to spend almost as much on the strap as the watch
That sounds awesome Garry!
Wow, Marc that SARBO033 looks great on the new strap👍
Thanks!
That is so crazy it is a different size!? thanks for letting us know!
I love buying from Long Island Watch! Thanks!
I guess what strapcode realized are the normal production differences/deviations and not a systematic difference between both models. The original Seiko bracelet is the same for both models and I interchanged them between the 033 and 035 in the past without problems and absolutely the same fit.
And I've had people tell me they aren't, so maybe it's just a tolerance buildup.
The best Rolex datejust hommage ever!
It's not a Datejust homage
I will be getting this bracelet for my STO Turtle. Although, thought this was too chunky for this small of a watch.
I am struggling putting back the OEM bracelet. You totally nailed it! Any suggestion for me to win this epic fight?
Marc, I finally purchased the SARB33, I know I know, slow to the game :-). Does the strap code add too much girth to fit the watch under a shirt cuff?
The bracelet is better than the actual watch.
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!! Strapcode should make bracelets for the SARY055/057 too!! Seems like they are becoming popular
Is the watch popular enough?
Long Island Watch I'm not sure. I like em a lot, they are 41mm, and are basically a SARB with a 4r35
Good looking bracelet for a beautiful watch!
Thank you!
Anyone else think the super jubilee would have looked better compared to the beefier (HAHA) Angus?
I might agree with you.
Yes, the jubilee looks better on the Turtle than the Sarb.
Nice... though i agree with most comments here that a super jubilee would have better. Hope they make a super jubilee for the mini turtle
That would be great.
Very solid!
Seems like it suits the 033 much better than the 035 to me.
Just to know if you changed the spring bars. Mine original don’t properly fix the bracelet on the case. It moves. Maybe different diameters...thanks.
Sarb's looks the best with the bracelet style used on the Speedmaster. Its a 3 link bracelet, but the centre link has polish strip on either side. Its a more fitting bracelet for a dress watch of this type. But its very hard to find the bracelet with the proper end links for this Sarb Case.
The Angus Jubilee is too chunky for a dress watch like this. I prefer Jubilee's on dive watches only, and they look damn good on them too.
What strapcode bracelet will fit a sub? I dont care about the hight just will the holes line up
Thinking about upgrading my bracelet. The Sarb OEM bracelet just doesn't fit right because of the lack of more micro adjustments.
That's a big complaint.
Sonshine lucky you. I bought one for my 33, it was waaay loose swinging up and down. they sent me another endlinks the same problem. I ended up returning it :(
hallo longislandwacht :)is there a jubilee band for the Seiko sary057? the original band is not the best thank you.
I prefer the original Seiko strap sorry. Great video by the way.
I read online that the (far cheaper) bracelet from the Seiko skx013 will fit the Sarb035, so I bought one from an online supplier based in Holland. Take it from me, it doesn’t. The profile of the cheap folded end links is completely different. Moral of the story: buy cheap, buy twice.
Hey man! Hello from Denmark and thanks for taking your time to make these awesome videos. They are priceless. I recently acquired a SARB021, but unfortunately the bracelet is just a tad too small for me. I bought it off of a street vendor in Hong Kong and he did not have any spare links. Do you have any idea where I can find an additional link? I can not for the life of me find one nor what the strap is called.
I wonder if the 033 bracelet fits pm the SARB065 Cocktail time watch, I want to get a stainless steel bracelet strap for my seiko SARB065 Cocktail time and it must fit perfectly with no gaps.
Bought one to add to an already well suited dress watch.
@8:21 close-up of the blue painter's tape stuck on Mark's glove. When I think of Long Island Watch, I really don't associate that logo. 'Long Island Watch' is strong enough on its own. (my 2 cents)
Mark, you're the man!
Thank you.
Mark, are you ever going to get anymore SARB033 in stock? Already impossible to get the SARG009..frustrated seiko is discontinuing some crowd favs with no real replacement
I have a brand new SARB017 and I plan to buy the Angus Jubilee from Strapcode for it, I think it will look awesome...
It does; look for that video in our feed.
I actually prefer to take more links out on the inside (6 o’clock) side. This is because of the fact that due to the way the class is shaped, the “hinge” portion that is against your wrist will stick out and make one of the links bulge on the outside (12 o’clock) side. Also, I find that the clasp is just not centred when the number of links are even on both sides. I think this is because our wrists are not symmetrical, at least I find with mine, due to the fact there is more muscle and tendons on the side of your wrist with the fingers, and on the side with the thumb it’s mostly the bone. The result is that the clasp (and I mean the actual part that is curved and rests against the bottom of your wrist) is perfectly centred, and so is the watch head on top of my wrist. I also do not experience the classic issue of the watch turning towards the outside of my wrist, and say dangling down while I drink a mug of coffee, or extend my arm while talking. No matter what position my arm is in, the watch head stays exactly where I like it: so the 12 side lug is up close to my wrist knuckle, and the crown is perpendicular, also close to my wrist knuckle. It makes a kind of L shape in my mind, if you drew a line through the lug (parallel to the orientation of the watch), and another line coming straight out of the crown (perpendicular to the orientation of the watch) this makes an “L” type shape, or rather just a 90 degree angle. Inside the field of this L is where my wrist knuckle is. Exactly how close to my knuckle and precisely positioned it is depends on the specific watch. But whenever I am sizing a bracelet, I always take more links from the 6 o’clock side, in some cases all of the links I take out are from this side. But it makes sense when you consider the fact that a human wrist is not a symmetrical circle or oval. It is oblong and asymmetrical. But to each his own, YMMV!
Please can you tell which tool you use to remove the bracelet as I can't remove mine at all with the cheap one I bought from Amazon?
I think he sells spring bar tools on his website, those should definitely do the trick
Hi Mark, thanks for the video. I recently purchased a sarb035 but the oem bracelet just doesn’t fit me correctly no matter what and it’s really annoying as I love my bracelets. I never knew that there was a difference in the case between the 033 and the 035, will the Strapcode bracelet definitely not fit the 035 as I would love to try it out as I’ve had many Strapcode bracelets in the past and they are amazing. Also is there any other bracelet option for the 035 other than the oem that you could recommend? Much appreciated, kind regards, Kieran.
Still have the SCVS003 and prefer the bracelet over the SARB's one...
I think sarb 033 looks more beautiful on oyster style bracelet .
I have to admit. It looks 100 % . Wow . I have a Seiko sarbo35 . Where do I get one for it ?
You're probably not totally wrong, same bracelet, slightly different end links? I only use Strapcode on my Seikos. Have super oyster on my Skx but just upgrading to super jubilee, with ratchet extension
I hope not!
Hi, do you think it will fit with Seiko Presage SPB073J1 shippo enamel? I really need a stainless steel braceletw for my watch.
I'm wearing a SARB033 as I watch.
Personal opinion: too big and too shiney/blingey for the SARB. Maybe an more delicate oyster type, brushed and better quality than the OEM, with more micro-adjusts, would be better.
To be fair, I'm just not a fan of the Jubilee style.
The braclet looks great but possibly a little beefy. The clasp looks huge is that the button chamfer or v clasp?
Just ordered one. Mostly because of how good the oyster is on the skx.
Thanks!
I got the 033 on the angus and 035 on the oem
So, if someone could point me in the direction of the Super Jubilee version, that'd be great. All Strapcode seems to have in stock are Angus bracelets..
Looks awesome!
Thanks!
whats the measurements for the length including male endlinks?
Love the new look. Reminds me of a Rolex...
Nice hair cut☺️👍
I would have gone with the super j rather than the angus. Angus on the skx and the super j on the sarb
It's the watch todays price for about 500$ worth it? or is it to expensive. I mean years ago the watch was about 350$.
Would love a Strapcode for my SARB065. Hopefully we'll see one in the future!
Doubt it.
The unfortunate reality lol
There is no way the 033 and 035 have a different case. I refuse to believe this
Masterpsflood, I'm gonna need proof.
This beggars belief to me also. Surely the whole lot are made on the same production line?! Maybe not.
It's true I have both and their bracelets are not interchangeable
Christian M what is the difference? Lug depth or soemthing?
My wrists are 7 3/4 inches and are just too large for the oem bracelet. How well does the Angus fit a wrist of my size? Thank-you
I think you'll be right on the cusp
I saw strapcode now has an oyster bracelet with polished center links for the 033, did you receive any of those? If so, how do they look? Build quality? Definitely considering it.
No, sorry. Too similar to OEM in my opinion.
I agree with some below comment's, The big bracelet looks bad on a 38mm case...
Would look great on a SARY, reminds me of a Breitling Bracelet
What size screwdriver I need to get those screws off?
Wish they made a bracelet for my SARG011.
Top Notch!!👌🏻😍
Thanks.
Beautyful Marc! I want one
Get one!
Any comparable alternative with a smaller clasp? its too big!
I need it. I switched the end links from my skx007 with the sarb033 which enabled me to fit the skx jubilee to my sarb and it looks very good indeed 👍
The sarb033 solid oem endlinks connect to the SKX bracelet?
Strap code doesn’t make a super jubilee for this watch?
The SARB017 fits better with the Angus Jubilee than the 033/035 do. The Oyster style looks better on 033/035, but no so much on the SARB017, however I will admit just like in some of the other comments, that maybe a Super Jubilee would have been the better overall option, as it is smaller.
I just received my Angus Jubilee for the Alpinist yesterday and I've mounted the bracelet. It is a beefy bracelet no doubt, but even if it's a bit massive compared to 017, I still think it's way better than the crappy leather strap that comes with the watch by default and it is still better built than the OEM bracelet. Now, if only I knew that Strapcode finally made some bracelets for the 033, I would have ordered one for it as well :|.
Thanks for commenting.
I wonder if this will fit my submariner?
I like the sarb as much as the next guy BUT.. they are expensive now then add the cost of the bracelet and your getting into A price bracket full of FAR superior watches
Okay, then not for you.
Long Island Watch unfortunately not for me but only because of the terrible exchange rate and new import taxes on us poor Australians.
$489 u.s for the watch plus $150 u.s for the bracelet ends up being $860 Australian dollars plus 10% import tax takes it up to $946 AUD 😳.
Don’t get me wrong I love my sarb but there’s absolutely no way it will ever be a $1000 watch in my mind and I’m sure plenty of enthusiasts will feel the same
Are you going to stock the model for the 035? How soon? I'm one of those guys who can't get the original bracelet sized right and would LOVE the extra adjust ability!
We will, soon!
Well worth it
This bracelet is too chunky for sarb design imho...and the clasp is too big. The best deal would be if one could buy combo from Strapcode in a way to use endlinks from this braclet in the video, the bracelet itself should be Strapcode Super jubilee for SKX013 but the clasp should be from Strapcode SKX007 Super jubilee because on the strapcode skx013 jubilee bracelet the clasp is also too big. This shouldn't be a problem cuz all this parts are connected with screws so it's easy to modify this combo...
Hi Marc,
Is this nice Angus Jubilee bracelet adaptable to my SEIKO Alpinist (SARB 017)? I really like like it, but I´d rather use it on my Alpinist than on my SARB 033, or the 035.
Thanks,
Emilio
No, you'd need different endlinks.
Thank you Marc.
@Long Island Watch, what's the size in mm of the tip of the screwdriver that you usually use to adjusting the Strapcode links?
Strapcode bracelets have lots of sharp edges and cause many hotspots on the wrist. I ordered a hexad bracelet direct from Strapcode and whilst it looked nice from a design point of view, as soon as I put it on my wrist I got a rude awakening.
Look at this video carefully and you will see how sharp the edges are. I don’t think much has changed.
The strapcodes are nothing like the OEM bracelets. Seiko would never dream of releasing anything like this purely from a health and safety point of view.
What do you mean hotspots ?
Pep Rex I mean that the bracelet causes redness and general irritation of the skin on the wrist.
Any idea if this will fit the sarx series?
Any idea when your going to get the 035 back in stock??
A nice president style bracelet would have been an immediate buy...but this is too chunky for me
Superb video. Superb bracelet.
Thanks!
So are they going to make these jubilee bracelets for the Sarb035 as well since there different?
Yes, coming soon.
That's how you make Datejust competitor. LOL
Indeed!
Does the strap fit also the 035?
Will that bracelet work on Alpinist?
