You're right, they aren't blood brothers. I'm not sure how familiar you are with Asian cultures and languages, but most Asian languages use honorifics. One of the many honorifics that Koreans use is "hyung". It is used by younger males to adress older males they're close with and it means "older brother", it doesn't matter if that older male is blood related or not. It shows both affection/closeness and respect for the other person's older age and has to be used at all times when adressing them, otherwise it'll be rude or even insulting. It can be added right after the name, for example "Jin-hyung, did you close the door?" or when it is clear who is being talked to: "Hyung, did you close the door?" On the other hand, the older person then uses affectionate honorifics with the younger person, for example "-ah", which is used with children and younger friends, or "-ie", to make the name more cute, just how Tom becomes Tommy. "Yes, Jungkook-ah, I did", or when talking about the younger members, the older member might use the word "dongsaeng", which means younger sibling. "Jimin-ie is a dongsaeng that I respect a lot"
The members have been living together for 8 years now and spend almost all their time together, so they have become close like familiy. Their group dynamics are amazing to watch, my expectations for friendship shot up by 50000% after watching how BTS interact with each other 😂

thanks for having open mind without judgement, I am old Korean woman who loves bts, even though I am Korean, I never liked the K-pop idols, but bts got me through depression which I had for long time, they are different from other artist, they went through hardship, and never gave up, I respect rap monster, even though he can be the age of my grandson. I like your reaction, cuz you guys not young, but watch them without being judgement, I thank you, and hope see more reaction, I am sure you will be inspire by them, even though they are young, these guys are pure genuine good artist whom can give inspiration many youngster in all around the world, and it is about time that lot of famous artist to wake up to see that the youngster in the world want someone that they can admire instead of drug, sex, all these bullshit, cuz they got money and famous. thank you, I am 59yrs old, and I always liked western music, instead of Korean music, but these bts boys are different, their music is I relate more than other Korean songs, but most of all I love them because their personality, I was in severe depression, feeling lonely, and not finding any meaning in my life, but after I started to watch how they come this far, I am not that lonely anymore and try to live as best human being as possible, these dorky boys make my heart warm, pls excuse my English and thank you again.
My granny is 80 years old and loves BTS. All the 7 boys, though she never really understand the language but with subs and theories ( yes that part, i made her understand bcz) she adores them. Much love frm~~~ India💜
They've been on Ellen's and James Corden's show twice, also on Jimmy Kimmel's show last year, and so many TVs and radio shows in America and other different countries. They are the first Kpop who performed on AMAs and BBMAs. They also won Top Social Artist of the year on BBMAs beating Justin Bieber, they won 2 years in a row. BTS Becomes First K-Pop Act to Hit No. 1 on Billboard Artist 100 Chart and No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart . First Kpop who won Artist of the year on MAMA 2 years in a row. So for me they are bigger than other Kpop artists, bigger than any other artist right now. Even celebrities look up for them and became their fans.
BTS is an acronym for "BANGTAN SONYEONDAN" meaning "BULLET PROOF BOY SCOUTS".
BTS is different, unique and VERSATILE! Actually, everyone says they are more than just a kpop and they are beyond that title. The stories behind their music videos (also their short films that are connected to the storyline of their music videos series). They compose and produce their own music. They have deep meaningful lyrics in all of their multi-genre/catchy songs (including each mixtapes of the rap line). Not to mention that their songs are SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS SONGS. BTS is a rare K-pop group that tackle social issues in an industry where political disengagement is the norm for k-idols.
Their sharp-edgy-sexy-swag dance choreography (even their dances have meanings too), they dance with full of passion and emotion, with their best attitude and facial expressions as they perform, they are like a pop group and a dance crew in one. They are known to do fiery live performances that will always make you Jung-SHOOK!
Their very bubbly, energetic, quirky and humble personalities, they are legends now but they still are down-to-earth. They take care of each other and treat each other as family, including the staffs of the entertainment company that's always there for them. They work so hard for their dreams and for us, they give their best to every performances and to their crafts just to make us happy. They are professionals, they never showed us exhaustion on stage even when they are not feeling well or tired because of their jam packed schedules. They are so passionate in everything they do, they love what they are doing and we all can see it in all of their efforts and how they enjoy and live every moment in their journey.
They are unstoppable, nothing can stop them from reaching their dreams. Not even their haters. They roasted their haters in a savage but cool, classy, wise, thoughtful and professional way.
They are the true definition of DEDICATION. Coming from a small unknown entertainment company, their humble beginnings become an inspiration. They've been through a lot, but they never give up. Those struggles and hardships made them strong. Also made us ARMYs strong, coz BTS and ARMY is a family. All those hardships they went through along their journey since day 1, we never stop fighting for them and believing in them. We protect them, we aren't called ARMYs for no reason.
They also make sure that we ARMYs are their priorities, you can tell how much they love their fandom. Whenever they win an award the first thing they always say in their speech is "ARMY", then thank us and tell us that they love us, that we are the reasons why they are what they are today. Instead of going straight to after parties to celebrate their win or their successful performances/concerts they would prefer to talk to us through V-LIVE app. Even when their tired and supposed to be resting, sometimes they would stay up late to talk to the ARMY all around the world. They also compose and dedicate songs for us everytime they would relies their new album, they make sure that we will be touched by those songs. BTS and BIGHIT gave so much to us, and we ARMYs also do the same for them coz that's what families do.
BTS made/still are making a huge impact to many of us, not just INTERNATIONALLY but GLOBALLY/WORDWIDE!
Their songs, performances and music videos are beyond art and literature, it is more than a MASTERPIECE!? There are endless reasons as to why they are so popular, but it's hard to put it all in words, but I still tried! Hahahaha! Because I wanted everyone to know that BTS are GREAT ARTISTS! :)

Nya Crea I think it is the plant the Henna is made of. I am not that sad about putting it on my head, but in my culture during celebrations and weddings we get henna designs on our hands and legs and stuff.
i found out i was allergic to soy milk right b4 i went to school in 1st grade by eating a few teaspoons of cereal. It burns my tounge
