Welcome to the fam. yeah, Suga is pronounced Shoo-ga. Jimin is Jim-in. A little background. The reason that the underground rappers gave them such a hard time is that Kpop idols were not considered to be 'real artists' at that time. (BTS has really changed this idea.). Unlike what we're used to in the west, the way it works is that kids audition with specific companies to become idols. If accepted they are considered trainees and go through a training process that may last several years before their debut. BTS debuted in 2013, but RM was signed to Big Hit in 2010-11. He and Suga were originally signed to be in a hip hop group- not an idol group. But then the ceo of Big Hit decided to go another way and began recruiting dancers and singers. Trainees live, eat, work together. So, they have all been living together since long before debut. (See BTS is not a group, BTS is a family.) The Kpop industry is very different from the American music industry. Until this past year it was totally controlled by 3 major companies. They controlled the media and had connections with news outlets and all entertainment industry bigwigs. These companies have 'stables' of artists from actors to models to singers/dancers, etc. They also have their own composers, producers, technicians, etc. And they tend to 'shut out' smaller companies from media exposure. Big Hit, on the other hand, was a very small company. Their ceo, Bang Si-hyuk, had diff ideas of how to create an idol group. BTS' contract, for example, is much less strict. They are encouraged to learn and broaden their skills. They have always written their own lyrics or collaborated on songs. So their music is very personal to their life experience. Those fans who were lucky enough to discover them in 2013 have literally watched them grow up. Their early music is very heavily influenced by Hip Hop. As they evolved, they've experimented with all kinds of genres of music. Well, that- to me- is what Kpop is.... a fusion of different genres. Sorry to go on so long.
Wow you guys all know so much. Thank you so much. They must be so tired all the time. Those guys work very hard. Thank you for the comment! Dont say sorry!
Hi Andrew, Susann is right for you to check out this song if you like Rap. Although there are many Rap songs that the Rap line has done, this one is a favorite of mine. This is just a lyric video not an MV..... These lyric videos are fan made so no copyright issues. Here you go: czcams.com/video/L7hZ8Z9sM38/video.html hope you like!
DKDKTV does good explanation videos for BTS MVs from a Koreans perspective. xCeleste also makes good explanation and theories videos for BTS MVs too. There is an introduction video made by xCeleste where she does the voice over so you can hear how the members names should be pronounced!
About j-hope, he's also one of a main songwriters for BTS (after RM and Suga), he's been involved in writing/composing/creating beats since the beginning of BTS. He has already 79 songs accredited to his name at KOMCA (The Korea Music Copyright Association), so this video lacks in this important information. Hoseok (j-hope) is definitely not new to writing/producing, he's been doing this for several years already, but it's true his experience is lesser compared to RM and Suga who wrote and composed even before BTS.
@@AndrewPiluk BTS + the rap line solo mixtapes has around 200 songs released, that's a lot :D RM has 122 songs accredited to his name at KOMCA, he's great lyricist in the group. Suga has 77 songs accredited to his name at KOMCA + 7 songs from his mixtape which aren't registered at KOMCA for some reason. Suga is probably the most experienced producer in the group. The other members (vocal line) also add some ideas and especially worked on their solo BTS songs, each of them has between 6 to 4 songs at KOMCA.
I remember jimin wrote the lyrics for Lie and made the melody for Blood Sweat and Tears. Jungkook produced Magic shop. V helped make Hold me Tight. Jin helped make Awake i think. There are more, these are just the ones i remember.

I usually don't subscribe to reaction accounts, but man... I have to subscribe to you! I really appreciate your reaction and insight on BTS so far as a newcomer. I think you'll thoroughly enjoy the rap line's songs too. Suga's The Last is one I recommend, and BTS' Outro: Tear. Obviously I recommend all of them, but I'm most excited to see your reaction to those two songs the most.
Im totally subscribing after this! 💜 React to BTS From Nobodies To Legends part 1 and 2! You'll get to know more about them and their story. Also for the rapping the Cyphers 1 to 4 are really good
Omg. Now you're is one of my favourite reactors.:3 If you want to learn more about them , then react "bts : nobodies to legents " and part to of that video. Also "Bts is not group, its family." . Also introduction to bts: bulletproof. And other intro's of each members
Thank you for reacting to them. We really appreciate it when people appreciate them bc they really deserve the attention they have. We’re not just fangirling over their looks or whatever z they really helped a lot of us with their music
RM his IQ is 148. which is considered as a genius and in top 0.1% of the population in the world. In case RM IQ numbers don’t impress you, he also scored 900 on the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) while he was in middle school.
you can start by watching I NEED YOU (19+) ORIGINAL to know the story line. or you can watch video from X Celeste (an awesome army) about BTS Storyline. you will be AMAZED!
@@AndrewPiluk this is the link czcams.com/video/UTE3GmdJohQ/video.html . the storyline still continues until now and Armys are still decoding the theories too...
hi .i just want to drop another helpful video for you..this is also the story line made by an army. recommended czcams.com/video/n4o70iBIDNs/video.html
Army, let him watch the MV's first and only then watch the spoiling Storyline explanation videos ! It is much more fun FOR him to watch MV's himself and enjoy them, and only then after that - IF he wants to, learn about fan theories about the Storyline - Or/and only what little the BTS have said about the songs themselves. So he can decide what theories he wants to believe - or if he want's to be believing them all, or like his own theories best !
Wait, also. This is SO informative, but I think you'll also benefit from a mini series called Introduction to BTS. It talks/shows even more of BTS, stuff that even I wasn't aware about.
Me when a youtuber becomes a new army: 1.look at the "who is bts" 2.maybe even look at their individual introductions so you know more about their personalities. 3. watch the classic old mvs (there is a storyline). 4. The Wings album. 5. The Love yourself album. 6. Watch bts on crack (cause they're hilarious and can make your day). 7. Look at their solo songs. 8. Live performances. *out of breath* Most importantly pick a bias (the person out of the group you like the most) Lol, why am I like this??😂
You, everytime a new member appears: These guys are sooo talented! Me, a 28 y.o mother of two: Yeah, they are! I love how inspiring each one of them individually and as a group. They're not just an ordinary boyband. I won't support them this way if they are given my current condition. They are the ultimate package. Good music; amazing performances; honest, beautiful, deep, and relatable lyrics and messages; and above all, they are a not just talented, but also humble, nice, and good-hearted people. They're trying to make the world a better place to live in by spreading their messages through everything they do. They are such a good role models of young people.
Welcome to the ARMY! I love how you are able to speak and react without missing much of what's going on in the video. Also, I love how you sincerely appreciate the boys. They really are talented and hardworking. Have you seen their speech at the U.N. (United Nations)? They spoke about self-love and the importance of having your own voice. You should check it out and maybe react to it. Can't wait to see more from you! You earned my sub~
I literally cried when you tried to protect and defend rm and bts to antis even if you just saw them first time i literally love you you deserve a mil subscribers
Super excited for your upcoming BTS videos. There really and truly is no other group (Kpop or western) like BTS. They are a completely different standard, and I think a group like this only comes once in a lifetime. I know the more you get to know and react to them, the more you'll see this. Much love.
I think you might really enjoy a video called “BTS is not a group, BTS is a family” it’s a really sweet video and really shows how close they all are. They really have such an amazing friendship, they genuinely consider each other and refer to each other as family 😄 and also really enjoyed your reaction as well!
You keep saying ‘they’re so talented’ 😂😂👍🏽 Well they are!! They have inspired SO many people to chase after their dreams despite the obstacles that will pop up. They inspire ME, as a matter of fact. I want to be a professional Musician just like them but I’m facing many challenges right now... I dropped out of school because of social challenges (I have battled depression and social anxiety just like Suga) and I’m going for vocal and piano lessons but the household income is in trouble and my dad is reluctant to pay for my fees anymore... however I really do need them because I need to improve to be at THAT level... but I have newfound hope thanks to BTS... I’ve been tied to music since very young and it’s only now that I realise it’s what I’ve always wanted to do. I’m searching for a part time job to pay for my fees right now :)) “You grow successful when people say bad things about you” -Jin. 💜💜💜
You should check out the Cyphers, there are 4 of them, all amazing. But they spit lyrics really, REALLY fast, it's hard to keep up when you're listening and trying to read the subtitles, I advise you to pause the video so you won't miss anything. You won't be able to appreciate them fully otherwise.
You should definetely check their solo work and react, the vocal line Jimin, Jin, Jungkook and Taehyung (V) has Serendipity, Epiphany, Singularity and Euphoria with music videos. The rap line have the cyphers part 1,2,3 and 4. They also divide themselves in these units when realising music, in their Tear album (honestly my favorite album of them) that they released last year they have a great song with only the rap line called Outro: Tear (my fav of the album) and the vocal line has The Truth Untold, both of them don't have music videos but you can react to the lyrics.
some additional info: Jimin has black belt in Taekwondo (8 years, so he is good at flips), use to do martial arts - Kendo, 5 years hip hop and poppin ( he is good at freestyle ), 1,5 year of contemporary dance (he was top student in very short time, but he slept only 3-4 hours, woke up at 4 in the morning and went to practise), also did archery. He is pretty good at math and physics. He wanted to be a policeman if he is not in BTS. Jungkoook also has black belt in taekwondo, he is good in another sports such is bowling, darts and armwrestling. He also editing videos, and is good at drawing. Loves dancing and knows bboying. J-Hope is street dancer, pretty skillful. He is good at reciting and compose poems. V also knows horseriding and drawing. Suga plays basketball and use to bboying before his car accident. He is quite good in cooking too. RM has IQ 148, he is really smart, compose poems in free time as a hobby. Really loves to use wordplay in composing songs. Jin except cooking is perfect in snowboarding.
I love all of your reactions so far. You sound so humble and sincere. You really seem to be into them and point out the feelings that i felt when i first found them and was getting to know them. I am in my 40s and a mom of a 7year old son from korea🇰🇷. I've been army almost 1 year. Thank you so much for reacting these incredibly talanted but still so humble boys despite their huge success.
My favorite member is Suga. The reason is because he may seem cold and cruel, but genuinely cares for his hyung. He, as it said in the video, grew up in a poor family, but is now very successful. He started writing his own songs at the age of 11, can play the piano and play basketball. Helps write the songs for BTS with Namjoon. Even though people hated on him, he kept going, and he got through it, with his own strength. Also, Suga is pronounced Shoe-Guh, Jimin is Jih-Min, Jungkook, Jun-Cook, V aka Taehyung is Tay-Hoo-yung, RM aka Namjoon is Nom-Joon, Jin is Jin xD And J-Hope is exactly how it's spelled, so yeah.
You are very respectful and fantastic to listen to. You're not OTT and you seem genuinely engaged. Also, love how you said the girls were screaming, but probably also the guys! You're so open-minded and we need more people like you to review BTS. Thank you for this video! LIKE + SUBSCRIBE! :)
Omg I'm so glad this showed up in my recommended vids! You are one of the most earnest and sincere reactors I've seen (and I've seen a lot). You're so sweet, positive, and open-minded while watching this video, and I love how you said you wanted to really learn how to pronounce their names correctly! Seriously this whole reaction was just a lovely ball of fluff.
you deserve more subs...im lovin ur reaction. keep it discovering BTS...im looking forward for the cypher series reaction since you love hiphop and rap. Subscribed! 🙌💜👍
I ve seen many reacting to this "introduction" vid, but your reaction or attitude throughout was the most respectful and genuine. Thumbs up! And hopefully you get to like their songs and personalities more!
BTS came from a small company, they started with nothing. Jin who was casted just because if his looks, Suga who left his family and gambled his education just to do what he really wanted to do, Namjoon who was never supported by his parents, Jimin who thought of himself as ugly and fat, Taehyung whose always been a part of BTS but was never shown any promotions- not until they debut Hoeseok who seemed to always laugh, but never felt as an accomplishment to his father, And Junkook who was very shy and has saved his parents at a young age by auditioning into companies. Remember the days when they were struggling? They even have to sacrifice and work hard just so they could eat? They are squeezing themselves into one small apartment and have to take responsibilities- the reason why they wrote the sing 'Move' Those times when him in had yo starve himself just because people called him fat and ugly. That one interview when Yoongi says; it was nice that people listen to their music because Taehyung and Junkook are good looking. And he thought that it was at least enough. Do you remember when Hoeseok was supposed to be the vocalist and Taehyung was supposed to be the rapper, but he chose to be rap instead and learn it since Taehyung wanted to be a vocalist. It was Raegyumgs dream and Hoeseok loves his dongsaeng that much he would sacrifice Other canvases were accusing then of playgurism just because they had the smallest detail whose the same with another big K-pop group which is actually just a coincidence. The was a time when Yoongi packed 300 gifts and letters just to give to their 300 fans who will attend at their mini fan meetings. So why do people judge them so fastly? Dud you know that Jimin came all the way to Seoul from Busan just to persuade his dreams? Did you know that Taehyung lives with his grandma for almost half his life making him innocent from what else is out there in our world? Did you know that set aside his embarrassment just to meet the others expectations? Yes, he is the golden maknae, but he suffers too when he sees his hyungs havung a hard time, he cries. There was a time Jimin giyd him crying because he missed his family. Junkook often cried secretly so his hyungs wouldn't worry. Did you know that Jin auditioned to make his mother proud of so she would have something to brag about to those judgemental neighbors they have. He worked hard on his vocals yet people called him talentless. Did you know that Namjoon worked to produce songs, yet there was a time his mom ruined his computer and broke his mic so that he could focus on studying? Did you know that Hoeseok auditioned because he wanted his father to be proud of him? Because he felt like he was a disappointment? Those rookie days where they only listen to the awardings and be amazed by their seniors. They can't do anything but watch those idols revive their awards. The days when they are happy with just 300 views on CZcams, mini fan gatherings little followers and one daesang award. They are content. Now they've reached the top and became more successful, from 150 fans to 6M and counting, from a small practise room to a bigger one, from a cramped dorm with roommates, to a big dorm with each of them having their own room, from one award on daesang, to MANY more and even winning the BBMAs BTS never expected this before their fouryh yaer anniversary, they've come so far- so far that the only chance we have to meet them is by going to there concerts or seeing then on the streets, which there is like a 0.00001% chance of happening. But really ARMYs!! We've come this far fam, let's love them and support then till the end! A true ARMY shall spread this~
I think the main reason that they’re able to stay together well as a unit is because they don’t let conflicts or problems sit with the group. If there’s a problem they deal with it as soon as they can and don’t wait it out which makes them stronger
i never seen a 32mnts long reaction before.. BUT THIS.. i'm not even skip it.. ur reaction is so pure like i can see ur eyes how u respect them so much. and i'm respect you as a normal guy to respect them so well. thankyou for being honest with my boys🖤
Thx for this. Army's actually like reactions to bts no matter how long it is. Some people split this video and say pt 2 will come and leave us dissapointed
Thank you so much for your interest in the boys! ❤ I'm so happy you decided to get to know them more 😊 your comments on their talents and effort really made me feel happy and soft ❤️ I hope you continue reacting to them! for MVs, I hope you react to Save Me, Dope, Fire. For dance practice videos, please react to Danger, I Need U, Boy in Luv and Baepsae / Silver Spoon / Crow Tit (yes that's just one song lol)
Welcome to BTS fandom. Their videos and fun stuff really help me grow out of my depression. Hope u get to know them better, coz the more u knw them, more u love them.
Why is BTS huge ? For those who question and wonder here’s why . Please note this not to start an argument or hate , this is just make people understand and realize somethings you may never knew. I support the kpop community and all artists . This post is to educate and give people better understanding why of all the other kpop artists that became , BTS stood out the most . This post is to show an example Of struggles, determination & inspiration . This post isn’t to force people into liking kpop or disliking it or bts , but explain the reasons to make you understand better that “ can’t judge a book by its cover “ . And discuss asian representation 1. Music - messages and meaning Bts writes music addressing social issues . Hate , oppression , bullying , mental health , self love , self hate , women empowerment , self Determination!! Yes they do write about love like any other artists , but they also put more meaning and message behind They’re music !! THey want they’re music to connect to anyone of all ages and races / gender . South Korea has a huge issue in mental health. The country has a high percentage of SUICIDE !! This is why BTS is a voice for the youth . This why BTS works hard to show “Music can transcend & translate messages “ regardless of language !! If you think about it , people will sometimes complain that all music just sex & drugs related , curse words , etc . BTS is different . Examples of song messages : Spring day - In 2014, South Korea experienced the Seoul ferry incident. The incident that shocked Asia and the rest of the world . The korean government allowed a boat from japan into they’re country , and it had broken down . Many high schoolers had died . Sending a huge wave of shock. BTS wrote a song called spring day . Which was a song dedicated to the incident of those who loss they’re lives . The lyrics had to be changed and not sound like it was connected to the ferry incident because the government didn’t want any discussion talk about it or anywhere in media . I need U- The song I need u addresses issues that those struggles with . The music video it self speaks for it self regardless of lyrics on how you assume It would be about love. The video shows a person dealing with parent abuse , drug overdose , depression, etc . Bts have also written DISS TRACKS to anyone who has doubted they’re handle of success . 2. Early Struggles In South Korea there 3 powerful & huge record labels : SM, YG & JYP . Also known as the “Big 3” . Bts came from a smaller record label name bighit entertainment which was originally new in 2005. In South Korea , the mindset was that if you didn’t came from a bigger company , your at a disadvantage and looked down on. BTS was bullied , mocked , insulted and was doubted at a chance of success . They actually were popular outside of Korea originally , but now they are big ! Including Korea . Achieving many things no other kpop artists have done ! BTS have been accused of stealing similar concepts , accused of buying percentage of they’re own albums , and even cyber bullied . This hate caused a lot trouble for the group and didn’t want to give up . 3. Versatile in genre BTS is known also to be versatile in different genres : hip hop , RnB , edm , pop , etc . The group has 4 singers 3 rappers .2 /3 rappers were underground rappers before joining bts ( RM & suga ) They’ve have also collaborated with American artists. American songs collab - Mic drop remix ( feat Steve Aoki & Desiigner . Note : Desiigner is on the Spotify version because they decided to collab after the MV was finish shooting . - Collaborated Charlie Puth . At the Asia artists award - waste it on me ( feat on only 2 of the members : RM & Jungkook ) edm track - idol feat nicki Minaj . - Best of me feat the Chain smokers ! 4. Asian Representation If you think about it , in America there’s not really that many asian celebs to see . This is a topic I’m sure we sometimes read about how there’s need to be more “ Asian representation “. In Hollywood we sometimes look at them as racist towards Asians or stereotyping . Asians would be looked at as nerds . Girls would sometimes get the lead or be sexualized , and sometimes it Portrays Asians guys as “unattractive” . Plus you don’t really see a lot of Asians in the music scene . If you have , how many times have an asian artists won a billboard music awards air American music awards ? How many times have that happen ?? BTS success has broken through American media from performing/ winning at the American music awards and billboard music awards . They beated out Justin Bieber , Ariana grande , post Malone , etc . BTS isn’t just representing them self , they are helping representing the kpop genre. Now I’m seeing other kpop acts get recognition form western media / celebs . This literally helps more diversity in media ! 4. Positive Role Models Like I said BTS works hard to show music can transcend & translate messages . BTS has also known for charity work . They have also collaborated with Unicef for a end world violence campaign ! It was name “ they name it Love Myself campaign . This campaign was to help get funds for youths around the world and stop violence . Last year they were invited to the United Nations addressing they’re campaign. They also were giving a speech on self love and self love acceptance . BTS has raised 1.6 million dollars from they’re campaign !!! This project had donations from they’re album sales , donations . As of now they are also currently working with unicef for a campaign project called Generation unlimited . To help many youths into qualified jobs and training . 5. Accomplishments - first kpop group to win artists of the year at Mnet Asian Music Awards 3 years I’m a row now . - Became the first kpop group to earn a spot in 2017 Guinness world records . - First kpop group to release TWO ALBUMS in 2018 and they both were ranked NUMBER 1 in America and around the world . Beating western artists . - First kpop group to win a billboard music award two years in a row , won an American MUSIC Award . Oh and 1 more thing , they recently have been nominated for a award for the 2019 GRAMMY awards !! So fingers crossed that they win !! This is just a small portion of they’re achievements . I don’t wanna list of them . So here’s a video link below : As for the kpop genre it self , just because it’s in a different language or the fact it’s half English or half Korea dosnt mean it’s bad. If people can enjoy songs like despacito or I like that featuring cardi b or Bieber , which FYI is half English half foreign language , then people can enjoy kpop . Not every kpop song is considered “ colorful” , not every kpop artists has to under go plastic surgery , these are just stereotypes Overall : This isn’t to cause hate or arguments. All kpop artists and American artists have they’re struggles, battles accomplishments . This post is to let people know and understand why “ a group of korea “ is huge . It’s to let people know why BTS fan base is huge and determined . They are humble and hard working . People who experienced bullying and SUICIDE THOUGHTS said that BTS lyrics help connected with them , resonated with them , gave them the will to live and be them self . Me personally I have faced that , and I’m happy to have positive role models like them around . They are one of the examples of Asian representation. This post was to show “you can’t judge a book by its cover “ . Next time if you ever question why this person is listening to music they can’t understand , ask yourself this , why do people enjoy this sport / art when it was never part of they’re culture ?? The answer is that it’s enjoyable and fun . And it’s something different .
Yeah! Toronto Maple Leafs banner in the back! A hockey fan and a BTS fan? I approve. I'm going to put under here a long list of their MVs (in the best order I could come up with). Just know that although they're MVs are cool, some of their best work is in their side tracks (House of Cards, Baepsae, Magic Shop, Cypher series, Tomorrow, Attack on Bangtan, Moving On, Let Me Know, I'm Fine, Trivia Series, Outro: TEAR, Ma City, etc.). The title tracks and MVs often just highlight the overall theme of the album. Also, these guys are *fire* live, so sometimes a good way to react is to watch an MV then watch a live version. Just be careful when watching live versions that don't come from iBigHit or BangtanTV. Many of the live versions (that aren't fancams) are owned by Korean broadcast companies and they can and do give copyright strikes (ex. KBS, SBS, Mnet, MBC are some of the companies). BangtanTV often uploads a fixed camera of their live performances, so that's a good place to look. There are also dance practices to a lot of these songs that show a fixed camera on the choreo in their company studio. Great way to see the amazing dance skills. For the music videos, there's two categories: MVs that follow the storyline and MVs that are separate. I'll list the MVs that *directly* show the storyline. The other MVs either don't or *indirectly* reference the "Bangtan Universe" storyline. For example, their MV for the song 'Fire' will have references to the story and images/props that appear in the story, but don't necessarily add too much more to the plot. And to be clear: the storyline is about a concept that puts the members in an alternate reality. So all the "characters" in the Bangtan Universe (BU) have the same real names as the members. Also, you'll see through watching, but there's a heavy time travel element to the Bangtan Universe storyline, so you'll sometimes see events that are 'deja-vu' or similar and will see a lot of space/wormhole imagery. It also may seem like things may be slightly out of order or repeating, but it's all part of the plot. Bangtan Universe MV or Supplemental Video - Direct Storyline (this is the recommended order to watch them): --The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Series (Theme: a young man becoming independent in the vast world and trying to find himself, find his dreams) [2015-2016] 1. [optional] Blood, Sweat, and Tears (Japanese Version--react on own time, don't upload or you'll get a copyright strike): czcams.com/video/7OX7dIRReSA/video.html 11. Thank u for appreciating and being a new fan of BTS, we Armys are so happy and thankful 🙂 so welcome to the BTS Army world😉😎💜💜💜 im looking forward for ur new videos about BTS😃 fighting💪
i cant remember how many times you ve said : they are so talented! they are so funny btw im an army and im happy that youtubers like u explore bts, thank you! -from ph😉
Haven't gotten through the whole video yet but it's always nice to see another Canadian! Fun fact: BTS was recently in Canada last September for their sold-out 'Love Yourself' tour (I went and it seriously was such an experience). Hope you enjoy the ride because BTS really is a fun one.
Nice vid! I can see you what kind of person you are through your talks and reactions in this vid. You're such a open-minded, positive and caring person. I wish your life with full of happiness and joy.
Aghh, you are such a genuine and respectful person! Thank you so much for paying such close attention to all the details, I will definitely be subscribing 💞
Welcome to the family, this is what you need to catch up: 1. They debuted in 2013, and now already 2019, they have a new album almost twice in a years, so there is manyy song and music video you need to watch 2. They have youtube channel call "BANGTAN TV" where they upload behind the scene of music video, music award, or just random video of their dayli life (don't forget to subscribe) 3. They have Twitter call @bts_twt go follow for more update for them, don't worry, army always translate for their tweet 4. They have allot of Variety show (bts run, bon voyage, bts gayo, etc) you can watch in application call Vlive, trust me you will fall more for them 5. They have "rap line" and "dancing line" both of the line already have allot of great single, you should listen to them . Happy watching 💜
I appreciate how interested you are in learning about them! I remember when I first started off just wanting to know their names, but by the time I knew it, I was listening to their entire discography, watching BTS crack videos until dawn and ordering their CDs from Amazon hehehe. Before I started learning about them, I had this image that beneath their great music, they were just some spoiled pretty boys with probably shitty personalities. That all changed as I got to know them, and especially after watching American Hustle Life. Their humility, respect and desire to learn from everyday people with regular jobs, their hip hop ancestors (Warren G and Coolio!), and even homeless folk really touched my heart.
They are like brothers.if anyone want to experience selfless love and brotherhood, bts is the perfect instance fr sure Please react to more of their mv.as all ur amazing words are so on point and u understand them so much just by watching once, i am very glad and happy.their message through the songs are really deep, positive and inspiring .respect fr u.
i love that you're so genuinely interested in them. and how you're so careful with pronouncing the names and all that was funny.I'd usually cringe when hearing people pronounce it wrong but now i just laughed cz you're really nice about it
Thank you for reacting to this. Most reactor always had this smile or tear at the end of their reaction, because Bts are talented, hard working, but keeping their fun side. Also, Bts and their company BigHit feed fans well. The 3 rappers mixtapes are free, you can find the download link everywhere. And they also release webtoon explaining behind the MV's stories for free too. Bts give many free content for the fans, it amazed me. Meanwhile, the capitalist company will sell everything, especially quality content.
(See BTS is not a group, BTS is a family.)
The Kpop industry is very different from the American music industry.
Long but gold 👍
Wow you guys all know so much. Thank you so much. They must be so tired all the time. Those guys work very hard. Thank you for the comment! Dont say sorry!
Jimin is Ji-min 😊 Not Jim-in 😊
and xCelestes From Nobodies to Legends!
I kind of teared a little while reading this
If you're a fan of rap/hip hop.. the cyphers are a must XD And of course, RM, Suga and Jhope's mixtapes!
Shangyu Awesome I will thanks!
Don't forget "DDAENG" #Classic
Linda Xiong Mhm lol
Omg you forget the best
Outro tear!
Please it’s amazing
Outro tear is amazing + ddaeng + baepsae
I really recommend Bts outro tear, its a rap song.
I loved your reaction and how honestly interested you are in BTS! Have fun discovering more about them!
Organic Cookie Thank you! I am excited!
Same. I subscribed because of it
You seem like such a natural talking in front of a camera maybe I’m wrong but great video anyway 🙏🏻
Elle _Ell Thank you very much!
Uva Yakone Wow 79 songs? Thats amazing! Thank you for adding information!
@@AndrewPiluk
BTS + the rap line solo mixtapes has around 200 songs released, that's a lot :D
RM has 122 songs accredited to his name at KOMCA, he's great lyricist in the group.

Tenzin Namzey Gentso Awesome I will check it out! Thank you so much for subscribing!
Im totally subscribing after this! 💜 React to BTS From Nobodies To Legends part 1 and 2! You'll get to know more about them and their story. Also for the rapping the Cyphers 1 to 4 are really good
Thank you! I will check those out!
Agree, you should see it...
Also see they dance practice, you will see how lit they are.
Omg. Now you're is one of my favourite reactors.:3
If you want to learn more about them , then react "bts : nobodies to legents " and part to of that video. Also "Bts is not group, its family." . Also introduction to bts: bulletproof. And other intro's of each members
Thank you so much! I will for sure check those videos out!
I love how genuine your reaction is.
Very famous Jimin's quote :
Hey you nice. Keep going
Thank you so much!
Dude this was one of the better reactions that I’ve seen to this video!👏🏻
thaliakim_vk Thank you so much! I am very interested in BTS! They are so talented.
Thank you for reacting to them. We really appreciate it when people appreciate them bc they really deserve the attention they have. We’re not just fangirling over their looks or whatever z they really helped a lot of us with their music
No problem! Thank you for watching! Those guys are very talented!
RM his IQ is 148. which is considered as a genius and in top 0.1% of the population in the world.
In case RM IQ numbers don’t impress you, he also scored 900 on the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) while he was in middle school.
you can start by watching I NEED YOU (19+) ORIGINAL to know the story line. or you can watch video from X Celeste (an awesome army) about BTS Storyline. you will be AMAZED!
ayu bangtan Awesome I will thanks!
@@Pikaxsu yep i know i was just suggesting him. it's him who decide to watch it or not. anyway thanx b4
They have meetings before every concert
I love Jin's laugh, just awesome
Wait, also. This is SO informative, but I think you'll also benefit from a mini series called Introduction to BTS. It talks/shows even more of BTS, stuff that even I wasn't aware about.
Tenzin Namzey Gentso Awesome thanks!
@@AndrewPiluk The introduction to BTS series mentioned above is that by gadaursan if you want to look it up.
Yes! I'd definetly recommend gadaursan's mini series, it's amazing!
Bts is very sincere, humble, hard working, talented and super relatable
OMG I have bever been this amazed by a youtuber like you really seen to be a kind and openminded person. How to say.. u seem to be well educated lol
Me when a youtuber becomes a new army:
1.look at the "who is bts"
2.maybe even look at their individual introductions so you know more about their personalities.
3. watch the classic old mvs (there is a storyline).
4. The Wings album.
5. The Love yourself album.
6. Watch bts on crack (cause they're hilarious and can make your day).
7. Look at their solo songs.
8. Live performances.
*out of breath*
Most importantly pick a bias (the person out of the group you like the most)
Lol, why am I like this??😂
Damn dude, I love how you’re so open minded and honest. I really like your personality. You earned a new subscriber🤙
They are such a good role models of young people.
dude u seem super chill and down to earth !!
Yes they are all such humble, good guys! Their talent may initially attract us to BTS, but their character is what really makes you love them :)
this is the best reaction I've ever seen in 2019! thank u so much!
Super excited for your upcoming BTS videos. There really and truly is no other group (Kpop or western) like BTS. They are a completely different standard, and I think a group like this only comes once in a lifetime. I know the more you get to know and react to them, the more you'll see this. Much love.
When he said shout out to bits army y’all already know there’s too many of us.
*Windshield wiper laugh*
I think you might really enjoy a video called “BTS is not a group, BTS is a family” it’s a really sweet video and really shows how close they all are. They really have such an amazing friendship, they genuinely consider each other and refer to each other as family 😄 and also really enjoyed your reaction as well!
it's so nice to see someone go into a reaction with such an open mind and respectful attitude 😊
Tânia Ferreira Awesome I will do that thanks!
@@AndrewPiluk YES THE CYPHERS
“Doesn’t matter girl or guy” wow stan a progressive react channel lmao
i reallllly loved this reaction i really hope you react to more of their content!!!
I will for sure thanks!
You should definetely check their solo work and react, the vocal line Jimin, Jin, Jungkook and Taehyung (V) has Serendipity, Epiphany, Singularity and Euphoria with music videos. The rap line have the cyphers part 1,2,3 and 4. They also divide themselves in these units when realising music, in their Tear album (honestly my favorite album of them) that they released last year they have a great song with only the rap line called Outro: Tear (my fav of the album) and the vocal line has The Truth Untold, both of them don't have music videos but you can react to the lyrics.
some additional info:
Jimin has black belt in Taekwondo (8 years, so he is good at flips), use to do martial arts - Kendo, 5 years hip hop and poppin ( he is good at freestyle ), 1,5 year of contemporary dance (he was top student in very short time, but he slept only 3-4 hours, woke up at 4 in the morning and went to practise), also did archery.
Thank you so much for being sooooo respectful and truly with your opinion really as a BTS fan I really appreciate it 🙏🏻
I love all of your reactions so far. You sound so humble and sincere. You really seem to be into them and point out the feelings that i felt when i first found them and was getting to know them.
I am in my 40s and a mom of a 7year old son from korea🇰🇷. I've been army almost 1 year. Thank you so much for reacting these incredibly talanted but still so humble boys despite their huge success.
react to bts from nobodies to legend..the video so inspring... u gonna learn how they coming from small company...and yet so many haters....
Ok sure I can do that!
Theres also a part 2 now xP
I really enjoy your reaction! If you want to see them dance, they have so many dance practice you can watch! I suggest "Danger" "Boy in Luv" "Fire"!
Him: these guys can literally do everything
Me: wait till you see golden maknae
He's scared to have bashers. So cuteeee! Fighting!
I like listening to you talk about them. This is the kind of reaction I want from CZcamsrs who react to BTS videos.
Normally I don't like it when people talk so much instead of reacting but you actually say things that make sense so I like it
Omg I'm so glad this showed up in my recommended vids!
Thumbs up! And hopefully you get to like their songs and personalities more!
i love how supportive you are,, it makes me so happy thank you
BTS came from a small company, they started with nothing.
Jin who was casted just because if his looks,
Suga who left his family and gambled his education just to do what he really wanted to do,
Namjoon who was never supported by his parents,
Jimin who thought of himself as ugly and fat,
Taehyung whose always been a part of BTS but was never shown any promotions- not until they debut
Hoeseok who seemed to always laugh, but never felt as an accomplishment to his father,
And Junkook who was very shy and has saved his parents at a young age by auditioning into companies.
Remember the days when they were struggling?
They even have to sacrifice and work hard just so they could eat?
They are squeezing themselves into one small apartment and have to take responsibilities- the reason why they wrote the sing 'Move'
Those times when him in had yo starve himself just because people called him fat and ugly.
It was Raegyumgs dream and Hoeseok loves his dongsaeng that much he would sacrifice
Other canvases were accusing then of playgurism just because they had the smallest detail whose the same with another big K-pop group which is actually just a coincidence.
Now they've reached the top and became more successful, from 150 fans to 6M and counting, from a small practise room to a bigger one, from a cramped dorm with roommates, to a big dorm with each of them having their own room, from one award on daesang, to MANY more and even winning the BBMAs
BTS never expected this before their fouryh yaer anniversary, they've come so far- so far that the only chance we have to meet them is by going to there concerts or seeing then on the streets, which there is like a 0.00001% chance of happening.
But really ARMYs!! We've come this far fam, let's love them and support then till the end!
A true ARMY shall spread this~
Love this! You're genuinely interested to get to know BTS. Have fun!
You are very genuine! Thank you for understanding BTS and liking their music and messages. I will subscribe and turn on notifs!
when you react to their songs, listening to the songs knowing the lyrics is a must, their lyrics are great
I cannot believe i watched this whole video..looking forward for more! and yes they are very HUMBLE

I like your reaction!
Purple you 💜💜💜
Why is BTS huge ?
For those who question and wonder here’s why . Please note this not to start an argument or hate , this is just make people understand and realize somethings you may never knew. I support the kpop community and all artists . This post is to educate and give people better understanding why of all the other kpop artists that became , BTS stood out the most . This post is to show an example
Of struggles, determination & inspiration .
This post isn’t to force people into liking kpop or disliking it or bts , but explain the reasons to make you understand better that “ can’t judge a book by its cover “ . And discuss asian representation
1. Music - messages and meaning
Bts writes music addressing social issues .
This why BTS works hard to show
“Music can transcend & translate messages “ regardless of language !!
If you think about it , people will sometimes complain that all music just sex & drugs related , curse words , etc .
BTS is different .
Examples of song messages :
Spring day -
In 2014, South Korea experienced the Seoul ferry incident.
I need U-
The song I need u addresses issues that those struggles with . The music video it self speaks for it self regardless of lyrics on how you assume It would be about love. The video shows a person dealing with parent abuse , drug overdose , depression, etc .
Bts have also written DISS TRACKS to anyone who has doubted they’re handle of success .
2. Early Struggles
In South Korea there 3 powerful & huge record labels : SM, YG & JYP .
3. Versatile in genre
BTS is known also to be versatile in different genres : hip hop , RnB , edm , pop , etc . The group has 4 singers 3 rappers .2 /3 rappers were underground rappers before joining bts ( RM & suga )
They’ve have also collaborated with American artists.
American songs collab
- Mic drop remix ( feat Steve Aoki & Desiigner . Note : Desiigner is on the Spotify version because they decided to collab after the MV was finish shooting .
- Collaborated Charlie Puth . At the Asia artists award
- waste it on me ( feat on only 2 of the members : RM & Jungkook ) edm track
- idol feat nicki Minaj .
- Best of me feat the Chain smokers !
4. Asian Representation
If you think about it , in America there’s not really that many asian celebs to see .
4. Positive Role Models
Like I said BTS works hard to show music can transcend & translate messages .
5. Accomplishments
- first kpop group to win artists of the year at Mnet Asian Music Awards 3 years I’m a row now .
So here’s a video link below :
As for the kpop genre it self , just because it’s in a different language or the fact it’s half English or half Korea dosnt mean it’s bad. If people can enjoy songs like despacito or I like that featuring cardi b or Bieber , which FYI is half English half foreign language , then people can enjoy kpop . Not every kpop song is considered “ colorful” , not every kpop artists has to under go plastic surgery , these are just stereotypes
Overall :
This isn’t to cause hate or arguments.
Appreciate your reaction! it's So honest and great. You give each of them respect! Appreciate it.
Thank you
I love your reaction! So genuine and openminded. Thank you. Welcome to the family
An ARMY boy has born ❤️ Welcome to the family and I loved you reaction!!
" That shouldn't make me laugh, but that's funny" This is Army everytime Jin tells a joke LOL
Bangtan Universe MV or Supplemental Video - Direct Storyline (this is the recommended order to watch them):
--The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Series (Theme: a young man becoming independent in the vast world and trying to find himself, find his dreams)

3. Run (a personal favorite of mine :D): czcams.com/video/5Wn85Ge22FQ/video.html
4. [optional] I Need U (Japanese Version--do not react to as it's from Japan not Bighit and they're super strict about copyright, unlike BigHit which allows reaction videos): czcams.com/video/LYAcYSmaLoc/video.html
5. [optional] Run (Japanese Verison--again, just watch on your own, don't react): czcams.com/video/a16gTN7kOWU/video.html

8. Blood, Sweat, and Tears: czcams.com/video/hmE9f-TEutc/video.html
9: Spring Day: czcams.com/video/xEeFrLSkMm8/video.html (my personal favorite BTS video; would highly recommend checking out the 'explained' video for this as it shows that this video is a tribute to a tragedy and huge government cover-up that happened in South Korea czcams.com/video/Tye1ONFeKis/video.html; celebrities that talked about the incident were blacklisted, so BTS made a clever yet subtle way of giving something to the families and victims)
10. [optional] Blood, Sweat, and Tears (Japanese Version--react on own time, don't upload or you'll get a copyright strike): czcams.com/video/7OX7dIRReSA/video.html
11. Highlight Reel (not a music video, just a supplemental film--but pay attention to the instrumentation/soundtrack because they use it in one of their most epic rap songs): czcams.com/video/EHdK5U2hf4o/video.html
[2017-2018]
--Love Yourself Series (Theme: going through the stages of love and learning that you can't truly know how to love unless you start with loving yourself)

5. Boy In Luv: czcams.com/video/m8MfJg68oCs/video.html
6. Just One Day: (the music video is very soft, but the dance practice is hilarious because they're really uncomfortable being so soft and not going all out; you can see them laughing all throughout the dance practice and losing it at the end): czcams.com/video/DTcKkcyS410/video.html
[2014]
Intro Performance Trailer: czcams.com/video/hoTBL39i60M/video.html
7. Comeback Trailer--What Am I To You (RM): czcams.com/video/R_nfKfAnZ2A/video.html
8. Danger: czcams.com/video/43r6lXilbcQ/video.html
9. War of Hormone (they received some criticism because of the lyrics to this song and how they talked about women; most fans didn't really think it was a big deal, but BTS took the criticism and decided to run their lyrics by a professor of women's studies for some future tracks to make sure they were more sensitive; they also dedicated a women's empowerment song '21st Century Girls' to female fans later on--this is an example of one of the reasons I love them; even though they didn't have to, they try to listen to constructive criticism and become better people): czcams.com/video/Hhph0_CdUHg/video.html
10. RM's mixtape videos: Awake, Do You, and Joke
11. For You (Japanese single for their fans; don't react because it's owned by Universal Japan, not Bighit)

23. J-Hope Mixtape (called the Hixtape for Hobi+Mixtape): Daydream, Airplane
24a. IDOL: czcams.com/video/pBuZEGYXA6E/video.html
24b. IDOL ft. Nicki Minaj: czcams.com/video/K1scjjbfNsk/video.html
25. RM Playlist (mixtape 2--honestly, this album needs to be listened to by yourself and in order the first time; don't worry about making a reaction for this until after you've heard it; it's a work that was meant for those times when you feel alone or it's 2am and it's just you and your thoughts; plus the MVs are really minimal to fit this theme): Moonchild, Seoul, Forever Rain
26. Airplane Pt. 2 Japanese Version (once again, can't react because it's under Universal Japan)
Well, I'm sure I might have missed something, but there you go. When it's all written out, you realize just how much hard work these young men and this company has poured into their music and concept. I have mad respect for them. And best of all, after everything, the thing that keeps us coming back is the music and message.
Thanks for the reaction! Go Leafs!

Haven't gotten through the whole video yet but it's always nice to see another Canadian! Fun fact: BTS was recently in Canada last September for their sold-out 'Love Yourself' tour (I went and it seriously was such an experience). Hope you enjoy the ride because BTS really is a fun one.
That's so cool that you seen them. I would like to see them! Thanks for watching!
Really loved this genuine reaction!

Hi! Thank you so much for learning about BTS. I love your reaction. Keep reacting about them. Goodluck!! 💖
I liked your reaction❤ more BTS, pls💜
They are like brothers.if anyone want to experience selfless love and brotherhood, bts is the perfect instance fr sure
Please react to more of their mv.as all ur amazing words are so on point and u understand them so much just by watching once, i am very glad and happy.their message through the songs are really deep, positive and inspiring .respect fr u.
one of my best decisions to click on this video💜
its such a genuine reaction😍
you are such an open minded person! Thank you for the great reaction
I love your reaction to this so much! All the nice comments especially. Best reaction I've ever watched!
I profoundly appreciate your honest reaction
This reaction was so satisfying on an emotional level, and I have subscribed to your newsletter.
Also Suga got into an injury and kept it a secret from the others. He also prepared gifts for fans on his birthday.
BTS personality is sooo beautiful...
One of the best reactions I've seen so far ❤
Loved this reaction and your attitude and respect going into this video! Trust army, you won’t regret loving BTS :) subbed 👍🏼💜
i love that you're so genuinely interested in them. and how you're so careful with pronouncing the names and all that was funny.I'd usually cringe when hearing people pronounce it wrong but now i just laughed cz you're really nice about it
Thank you for reacting to this.
You seem very down-to-earth, I love seeing you react to this stuff :) welcome to the best fanbase in the world, bro
5 min in and you are hyping RM so much I'm already loving this
