Not the mention it will solely corrupt the idea of reservation that is equal representation of LC minority, also then the UC priviledged will build a sense of higher quo and since most of the faculties are UC, casteism will become prevalent in LC IIT and idea of reservation will loose it's purpose.

If IIT professors are so great, why not even a single IIT final year project turns out to be a great success? / why none of the IIT professor could contribute something like Linux OS / C language? These professors are just bookish..read the same things over and over and again and say it like Sankrit mantra in temple.
Contributions of such kind -- Unix or C like language -- are very rare. There is nothing great about the label (such as professor or student at an IIT) but the work or effort, which made a teacher, a researcher, or a student awesome, is great. There are mediocre (ruled by inertia) and awesome people (smart and hard working) everywhere, independent of the institutes. It is just that the good places attract smart and hard working people. And yes most people are bookish, there is nothing wrong with being bookish as long as you are continuously making efforts to apply your bookish knowledge in real life. Books didn't come out of nowhere at least in technical fields, books in technology contain practical knowledge which originated from practical problems.
