We've became so obsessed with the results that we single-handedly reject the process.
Remember gold occurs in the impure form it's the process which makes it precious and valuable.

Each student's brain power and understanding capacity is different. Education system should focus on how this power can be increased among students. Also students should be taught about mentality development and how to handle adverse situations of life.

  • @vanshajshukla6205
    @vanshajshukla6205 Před 4 měsíci +9

I Don't think sir,Two years were not about learning foundation of( PCM)
It was about solving and cramming profiles of questions with giving proper emphasis on theoretical knowledge, logical argumentation.
I was taught solving pulley Types use some -T+T=0,
I haven't gone through WE, but just for sake of problem solving they used the Work done by internal force is 0,
    Concepts like psuedo force,
    Just for problem solving.
There are many concepts that they just randomly teach and not instilling Curiosity in PCM,
They not start PCM with Throughts ,ideas, curiousity but rather with formulas, questions that are necessary for jee advanced,
The importance is given to having the armamentarium of techniques, trick, profiles of questions to deal with JEE advanced not using fundamental thoughts,
    For eg
    In mathematics
formula for Sum of n terms in AP
    for me is intellectual marvel
that how a compact formula can hold summation of n terms ,
What are the fundamental mathematical patterns that are exploited for deriving the formula,
WHY THE HECK derivations works ,
I have answers to all the above questions but JEE Advanced does not care, JEE Teaching faculty does not care and sadly IIT doesn't care.
Yes ,JEE ADVANCED IS beauty of its own, these questions are really intellectual marvels
But ,the way so called JEE experts teaches. The pedagogy is simple
Cram every profile till you can't find another new questions hence lots of study hours means lots if rote memorisation, lots of stress ,lots of suicides in Kota,
Stress is real because we are feeding information for the Sake of clearing Exam not for the Beauty of PCM

I agree with professor about Computer Science, as it is taught in our country mostly as a Tech subject. But in essence, it is a strand of math. And as a current PhD student in CS, I can honestly say I have been relying more on math foundations than any CS concepts.

Maybe because you don't find certain things interesting. If you find something interesting enough, you'd notice that thoughts about the subject won't let you sleep. Channelling a large part of your energy towards those thoughts makes great people, whom the world remembers for a long time.

If everyone starts talking in their mother tongue, everywhere it will be a mess, for example in college I went to West Bengal we had Bengali. , Bihari, orria. Now if everyone talks i their mother tongue they will not be able to communicate, English is the uniting point, Mother tongue we speak at home and with native friends, I do prefer speaking Bengali, but when required I communicate in English, and you can't force people to speak Hindi just because you are fine with it, I can speak Hindi but cant write or read, Does that make me illiterate ?
