Nice job. Yes they are useful.
Day vision uses cones in your eyes that take in each of the three different colors. Night vision uses rods that only allow you to see in greyscale. I’m not sure why red light doesn’t mess with this but that’s what’s happening. It takes a half hour for the rods to come out but the cones will react quickly as soon as light is present
Usb-c is nice for the added wattage, and it's reversible. Advantage of the higher wattage is the ability to charge laptops over the same cable.
I'm curious if you've ever tried the smaller black diamond headlamps, using 3 AAA batteries, which means you can have spares if you run out without waiting to recharge.
They switched to USB c because everybody does. So you'll only have one type of cable. And USB-c is able to fast Charge, even Laptops.
SOS function on flashlights and headlamps is super annoying.
Dang they gave a usb plug but a usb type c connector on the lamp, Why would they not keep the usb c on both sides
I think that in the future they wouldn't give any cable. And people will use usb-c to usb-c cable.
usb-c is here to stay and replace everything.

It is great headlamp till it’s battery dies ….then it is useless
Would rather have battery operated. Rechargable is always dead when you need it.
