  • We first started following Griffin and Kenzie on their instagram @The.BoatProject while they were renovating a custom 1968 53' PNW boat in hopes of Airbnb-ing it in Gig Harbor, WA at a private dock off one of the only historical Net Sheds left in the area. We were lucky enough to get a full tour of Lyla and to say it was amazingly beautiful is still an understatement. You can listen to our full podcast interview with Griffin here anchor.fm/Tula... Also, be sure to check out Kenzie and Griffin's Airbnb listing here www.airbnb.com...

Fantastic job they did even the components he is sort of concerned he might not have done a perfect job on that just give a better patina. Love the Hatchway door to the engine room. Thank you both for finding this gem and sharing it with us.

Sounded like Sierra made a new friend while you were shooting the video.

They did a GREAT job with the refit. They've got themselves a really nice looking Air BnB in a sweet location. A lot of hard work went into it. I wish them the best going forward. If you happen to be in touch with Griffin or Kenzie and it's not too much trouble, could you ask what the brand name, etc. of the bluetooth kinetic switches & receivers are? I happen to have ceiling lights in my boat that each have their own switch, like Griffin described in the video before the refit. I'd love to convert things over to their setup. Not sure if the receivers & switches will work with 12-volt lights, which is what I have. I think they said everything was 110-volt A/C. I don't see why it wouldn't work with 12-volt DC, but that's why I'm asking about the brand, etc. I'm thinking I can check the specs or call the manufacturer. Thanks!

Thoes were interesting lights that switched by WiFi. I wonder if they ever turn on and off because of outside radio interference. 🤔

Very interesting unfortunately the women cackling and laughing in the background was a major distraction for me something you might want to think about in your future videos
