  • After sailing the Corsair 880 for a few months now it was really neat to see what the extreme end of a racing trimaran in the same size range looks like. Thank you so much to Tim and crew for letting us check out your Seacart 30 trimaran! #trimaran #multihull #performancesailboat

Love how the trimaran checks so many boxes, and one of the boxes is speed / performance.
Thanks for this link!, … you’re right!
The 30 has so much more to work with..
I also like the price point and manageability of the smaller ones.
Other companies like Astus etcetera have other options as well.

Not sure I would want to be the foredeck guy at night, or day for that matter. Limited work space, no hand holds and no nets between the Ama's/floats. LOVE IT though!

That my question as well, is the boom currently upside down.....!? But, well answered! Love it when questions are covered straight up. As for the ‘usual’ rotating mast, there’s no such thing! Lots of carbon, great piece of gear. Thanks for sharing. 😎🏖🌴☀️🇦🇺

I was going to say it needs foils to make it really extreme...and there they were on the rudder...so it’s partly there! Was that Randy in the foreign legion cap? Btw, my nephew keeps saying we should put foils on our F22. Jim says no..thank goodness! 😜

Fun boat. Have some miles in it and von the Farder race in Norway with it.

Racing sailboats are an exercise in self flagellation . It reminds me of enjoying hitting your head against an "I" beam because it feels so good when you stop.

You clearly haven’t felt the joy of doing 15 knots in 7 knots of wind! Racing boats are an exercise in working out exactly what you need to experience the thing you are going after.

@@andrewcarr8526 I own a Trimaran and have done 15 knots with a rum toddy in hand, but I was going after a good time not a plastic cup.

@@oceannavagator each to their own, I like a drinking platform as much as the next guy but the genius of the seacart easily makes up for what it lacks imo

did it have foils or centreboards on the Armas or center hull?

I believe just a daggerboard on the main hull
