Most dangerous Home Alone trap?
Most likely brick
Electric sink
nail on the stairs
The kerosene rope from Home Alone 2
The sink was deadly
I love how even Kevin's crimes are factored into this, not even the protagonist is spared from the law now
Bruh he is a minor and could claim it was self defense, while claiming all the traps were things from a cartoon and didnt want to inflict any harm on them.
Plus the court would literally side with him as the other 2 were literally burglars. And were breaking into his house.
@@CameraPunk5049 There was also a case where traps doing harm while you're away can be considered against you but no case where you're home and setting up the traps to use as self defense in which the prior with a gun has already ruled you can use as self defense though he's a child so he doesn't know any better about self defense rules.

Finally someone that notices the fact that Harry's hand is still scarred in the second movie
I noticed it
I think everyone noticed but never pointed it out

Here's something to point out, when Harry grabs the hot doorknob in the first film, his hand is sideways with his knuckles pointing left, but the burns on his hand show as if he grabbed it up and down with his knuckles pointing up 🧐
@@spektacles1927Perhaps he twisted the door handle and that’s why the scar is like that
Due to the water damage caused by Marv it's technically possible that deadly black mold could have formed in the houses they robbed. Albeit, black mold is rare, but it's very deadly.
I once visited a house that was being Restored after years of not being used, And on the top floor of the House by the Stairs was covered with Black Mold is was bad they removed part of the Wall and Ceiling and anyone that had to go near it had to wear protective masks due to the mold and process of removing the mold.

And let's consider this: each house has 4 family members, and an estiamte of 20 houses. 80 people could've been killed. Marty's sentence is now extended by 80 life
Marv could actually be given multiple charges of vandalism for the flooding of multiple houses as Harry said “You did it *again* didn’t you?”. Hinting he has done it before
He says in the video that he estimates it being around $10,000 PER HOUSE and then tallies around $30,000 to be safe. I think he accounted for it already
It was literally their "calling card".
Assume they flooded all of them.
Given he takes snow gloves as souvenirs and he had 5 of those, it is save to assume 5 houses at least.

You can sue from prison.
And even if they somehow did, what’ll they do with 5 million dollars while in prison?
Pay for their bail probably (if they even could with their sentences that is)
There's no bail if you've already been tried, convicted, and sentenced in court. The next best thing would be parole, and given their track record, it's highly unlikely, unless they get pardoned or get released early. @@CreativeUsername1144

"we broke into this house to kill a child and got burned in the process, pay us money"
Harry and Marv aren't black so they won't get a dime.
People forget that kevin calls the police in the first movie under a different name and using the address of his neighbors. He knew he they weren't gonna let his death traps slide and he intentionally took measures to avoid it. Same reason he never tells his parents. This goes for both movies, the second in particular he definitely couldve called the police as an anonymous tip but instead decidedly led Harry and Marv away from the site of the burglary, using their photographs to lure them through an even deadlier house than before. Kid has the makings of a serial killer.
And that's how the Saw theory was made
ngl I didn't even think about that fact for him calling using a different address.
correct
Marv actually committed petty theft a few more times. While Harry and Marv are going skating thinking where they should steal from, Marv takes peoples' hats and scarfs.
Okay so the fire on the head would not cause brain damage. It would cause potential nerve damage and damage to the skull. The surgery that would be conducted would require medical surgeons to remove his scalp since the material of the toboggan would have melted into the skin. They would then have to graft on new skin and probably a hair transplant if harry decided he wanted his hair back (even though he never had any to begin with).
But yes Harry and Marv would have suffered severe brain damage and just by that alone are completely in their right to sue the McCalastar family for numerous and incredibly severe injuries that would most definitely and permanently impede their ability to live a normal life. They would most likely have to register for assisted living and always be monitored by a nurse.
Kevin would most definitely be charged and even if he is a minor perhaps receive some form of jail time (not actual juvenile jail since he’s so young but probably house arrest since Harry and Marva’s injures are more than proof that Kevin is a danger to society). He would also probably be forcibly committed to therapy. The parents would also be investigated for child neglect and abuse since the only way Kevin could have learned to do these things is from his parents. Last but not least, the old man from the first movie should have received recognition and a possible reward for rescuing Kevin and being a good neighbor for shoveling the sidewalks every Christmas.
That would apply if they don't consider traps while you're home as self defense then yes
Maybe. You’re right about the recognition part though.
@@Erkis2020booby traps are not covered under self defense
i doubt they could sue the mccallisters between their 3 life sentences
@jerkisthelerkis8563 if you can shoot and kill someone on your property and not have any consequences, then it's safe to assume he won't be fined.
I'm sure the police would have been fine with Kevin stealing a single toothbrush if they looked into it.
It's not like he stole something notably expensive, and Kevin didn't intentionally steal it. He was just scared of his Neighbour which activated his fight or flight response, which children are known to have a harder time controlling their fear responses.
Evading a police officer also might've been waved for the same reason.
Def. Because Buzz did tell him a false story about his neighbor which is why he had that flight or fight response because he legitimately thought what Buzz said was true until he finds out his neighbor was sweet and kind after all.
He might evade the fine, but I still think warnings should be issued as a prevention of future deviant behavior.
An unintentional theft under ten dollars by a minor under the age of criminal liability. I’m pretty sure that falls under a legal term. I can’t remember the Latin name but the translation is something like.

Well, the traps were done by a kid who might have gotten them from a cartoon. He could easily say that he did not understand how lethal his traps were and the court would side with him. Making the lawsuit pointless to try.

Facts! I wanted this so badly too! So badly I kept suggesting it on discord, good to know that Mousait saw that and made a video on it (he even went on discord and used some crimes that we put they committed).
RIGHTT
Kevin wouldn't be fined. He is operating on the basis of self defense, as he already KNOWS they're going to rob his house, AND one of them says "I'm gonna kill that kid!" This adds the the self defense point.
"Self defense" specifically doesn't cover setting up traps.
Booby traps that can cause injury or death are already illegal due to their indiscriminate nature (there's nothing preventing the trap from triggering on an innocent person who has lawful reasons for entry)
Secondly the traps are set with the specific intention of luring in the burglars and intentionally cause harm to them.
This already invalidates any case that can be made about self defense (as he always had the option to call the cops).
Google Katko v. Briney.
That could probably apply to the first movie, but I don't think it would work for the second. In the first, the Wet Bandits tried to rob his home, but in the second, Kevin went out of his way to lure them to the house
@@uselessgay2341good arguement
@@uselessgay2341 Fair enough. The argument about the traps being set up as an illegal means of self defense goes out the window with their intent of wanting to kill him. If you know that there are two individuals in your house that have audibly shown their intent to kill you? You're going to throw the kitchen sink at them to take them down or keep them away from you. Also, good luck trying to get that conviction/lawsuit. A kid against two serial robbers/mass vandalizers? Not going to happen.
As for the second movie? Leading the two there just to endure the traps? Yeah no that's going to be more scrutinized and is open for criminal charges.
@@uselessgay2341 They would probably wanted to kill Kevin anyway.
Technically, Kevin shouldn't be sued for 5 million. They were tresspasing, and he was using self-defense.

Mousait posts rarely, but when he does, he never dissapoints
You should do an "If James Bond villains were charged for their crimes" series
Not only would harry be put behind bars for his multiple crimes against a minor he would probably have a rough time for that reason
Home Alone 1 takes place in the state of Illinois, which has a “stand your ground” law, which allows you to use deadly force as self-defense in your home, so Kevin does not have the obligation to run away from his home, but in fact has the right to use deadly force for breaking into the home.
This completely changes in New York, though, where Kevin is not in his home or an invited guest into a family member’s home, but instead an intruder into a building, and then used deadly force to inflict pain on the bandits. Instead of calling the police, he confronted the bandits at a shop and then lured them into a property where he intruded into that he set up as a death trap. I think he would get a lenient sentence, and maybe he would succeed at trial at being found innocent for being a minor and using deadly force to defend himself, but I think criminal charges might still be brought against Kevin for what he did in Home Alone 2.

You could rule Kevin’s traps down to two torture charges, three or four arson charges, discharge of a firearm without a license, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Him dropping pearls for Harry and Marv to slip on could also count as reckless endangerment of the public, as who knows how many New Yorkers encountered the pearls after the robbers slipped on them.
The fact that they have prior convictions for the same crimes, would likely result in the judge giving a harsher sentence.
I never expected this video to be made
Im so glad you did home alone, ive been wanting this for months. Thank you 😊👍
I thought he was obligated to set up the traps because he's defending his house. In the second film, he would absolutely be charged for it because the house doesn't belong to him and the Wet Bandits weren't even planning on going to that house. Kevin lured them to the house where they were essentially tortured. No seriously, that's it, Kevin has nothing better to do while lost in New York so he decides to go on a hunt for blood.
This shows how evil movie characters are

Hey mousait, just wanted to bring to your attention that harry was actually in another home alone film after 1 & 2, which was home alone 4.
It's Marv. Harry is only mentioned.
Doesn't count. It isn't canon. Completely different actor for Kevin and also the time doesn't match up.
In Home Alone 1, Kevin is stated to be 8 but by Home Alone 2, he's 10. It's somehow stated that the second film takes place a year after the first, so, explain that to me. But in Home Alone 4, he's supposed to be 9. If that was true, it would have to take place between the original 2 films which I don't believe for a second, because of how many times the first film is referenced and they say it was "last year".
Harry - "Marv, remember what happened last year, with the paint cans?"
Buzz - "So if Kevin didn't screw up again."
Kate - "He was left Home Alone last year."
Home Alone 4 is not canon.
The best christmas themed episode!

My defense for Kevin not calling the cops is that one of the villains was cops he might of thought they were corrupt

Mousait drops another banger!
0:26 Harry was also bending their perspective and opinion on him by saying something a cop would say, as you can see that they are pretty skeptical at first. The impersonation leads another charge I think could be added. If we’re being harsh here, this could potentially also be a charge for gaslighting, since this is false information from the “officer.”
Can't believe Marv is the one who commited the most crimes out of the three xd
