The amount of times peach yelled "MARIO" is so funny considering it's more than the amount of times Bowser committed war crimes
Ikr
*MAAAAAARIO!111!!!!11*
😂😂😂😂
Yes but the amount of felony kidnapping he would have both of Peach and the toads most royal families would have executed Bowser for the loss of loyal subjects and the princess for I lost count on how many times Bowser kidnapped in main series, spin off series, and 3D/HD series but it is enough to get a restraining order on him, locked in a military prison, and most likely death by fire flower firing squad
@@emperortrevornorton3119 Mmmh, considering the way Bowser intends to run anything HIS way, I think the fire flower might be better...
A few things forgotten:
1. Grand Larceny charges in Mario Odyssey for stealing the valuables of each of the kingdoms
2. Regular 3D world was not counted, the goop only applied to Bowser’s Fury
that would give Bowser 14 counts of kidnapping (each fairy 2 times) plus an extra maximum of 204 years. He also uses his army to kill Mario so he should have another life sentence plus 3x arson and reckless driving sentence.
Didn't the wedding planners steal the stuff? Bowser just hired them or something like that.
also that all of his castles and buildings are violations
@@lemonadesnakeaka, Bowser owes a lot
Also the kidnapping of a princess ( Princess Peach ) would give you a sentance larger than two years, as would any crime against royalty
Three big things I noticed that were missed.
- In the first game, Bowser turns most of the toads into bricks, which could range from mass mutilation, to genocide if they died from the transformation.
- As stated in Super Mario World, the Yoshis found throughout the levels where put there forcefully by Bowser after being stuffed into eggs. Mass kidnapping.
- We’ve seen from Paper Mario and the Mario Movie that Bob-ombs are sentient beings with intelligence and emotions. We can also see from various cannons, dispensers, and pipes spread across the Mario universe that Bob-ombs are most likely manufactured by Bowser. This means that Bowser deliberately manufactures and deploys an entire race of sentient beings with the intent that they die in an attempt to blow up Mario. Don’t know what charge that would be, but I’m guessing a death sentence. This also applies to any game where Bullet Bills detonate after a short time.
I’m pretty sure it’s just boss battles
He also forgot the Cloud Kingdom fight in Odyssey. Also, even though the Broodals did also all the robbery and battles against Mario, these could still be levelled at Bowser as HE hired them for those services.
Probably only mutilation for the Toads. The spell is undone after he's beaten, and, in spite of the claims, none of them die. According to the manual, Mario punching blocks frees the Toads, hence why he gets coins from them as rewards. Don't ask why blocks still give coins afterwards, its never explained. He also should have multiple charges for attempting to usurp the throne, since that was the primary motivation for kidnapping Peach in most of the games. He later does it because he seems to have become attracted to his hostage.
Don’t forget that the Bowsers fought in the first game are fake!
@@CircusRope001 the last one in the final castle was the real Bowser.
Technically since Bowser is the leader of a militaristic kingdom, assuming there is a formal declaration of war, most of these "crimes" are allowed wartime activities. As for the war crimes... it really depends. In Super Mario Galaxy, many toads were shown carrying weapons so it could be argued to be a valid military target if brought to a court of international law. It might be a stretch but people have got away with far greater acts of destruction on non-military targets. The new galaxy thing is a bit weirder, and I don't think we have any applicable laws.
Make sense
Yeah, breaking the law is only for the military.
I think there might be huge implications about breaking treaties relating to space travel and spawning in a literal new galaxy
Yes but even wars have rules according to UN
@@ricardo7308 Correct, but none of the crimes listed here are war crimes.
I find it funny that Bowser only gets a restraining order after 23 kidnappings.

And that adds up to 2,015 years
how dos more than 1 death work is the death more painful or sum?
Don't forget a Restraining Order.
Don't forget the 15 consecutive life sentences

I like how peach only got a restraining order when she was forced to marry; she was chill with all the kidnapping 😂
She should be happy about the restraining order, given how Bowser reacted near the end of Mario Odyssey.
Funnily enough, due to the nature of Mario's universe (extra lives, and the abundance of solid gold coins everywhere), bowser is probably one of the few villains out there who could serve out all of his charges shown hete.
We actually see him get resurrected from dry bones to fully fleshed. It’s even in a clip here. I’m just wondering where they’d imprison him for centuries.
I like how he kidnapped Peach 15 times but only got a single restraining order

@@chaosenforcerdhm969If you're talking about the original Super Mario Bros than that's just incorrect. @mr.stuffdoer8483 He conquered the kingdom and has her as his hostage.
I believe this actually happened in the past (having the monarch as a "guest") and was preferable to have the new monarch kill the previous one (unless they were part of the family).

A few things that I think should be brought up:
- The instruction manual for Super Mario Bros 1 states that Bowser used black magic to turn the residents of the Mushroom Kingdom into stone, bricks, and horsehair plants, so that'll probably be Mass Mutilation.
- The first seven Bowsers in Super Mario Bros 1 & the first two Bowsers in Super Mario 3D Land are just regular enemies disguised as Bowser, so I think Bowser would only get charged for the final encounters against him in both games.
- You missed all of 3D World and just did Bowser's Fury instead. (Kidnapping x7, Reckless Driving x2, Aggravated Assault x3, First Degree Murder)
- Also I feel like the Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario games should count in a way.
I think mass mulation was the first crime bowser cominted
And this is only the main games
@@luciehaberzettlova7240 Yeah, because if he wasn't counting just the main games Bowser would have incalcuable amount of crimes and blood on his hands.
At an infinite rate in Mario party 5 the fucker was destroying the entire dream depot, which one of the dreams is an entire universe. So all of them are, by vice versa. Imagine the charges for killing that many dream people that're real in the mario universe.
In M&L Dream Team, he was more then willing to use the entire dreamy multiverse as his sandbox, the amount of dream universes generated would be in the quadrillions, would you image calculating that much damage.

This would be amazing!
I would love to see one of these for Ganondorf/Ganon just to see how long the sentence would be. And now would be a great time as the new Zelda game just came out.
Well you have to account for the reincarnations. King of Evil (most games, started in OoT timeline wise), Demon King (TotK) and FSA Ganon.
For the new super mario bros kidnapping charge, there's a small note:
It's Bowser Jr. Who does it, not the koopa king himself. At worst, he'd get a conspiracy charge, as it is implied he got Jr to commit the kidnapping, but Jr. would get sentenced to a juvenile detention centre for the crime, and Bowser would likely get a visit from CPS about how he's treating his kids
@@debesysg6959yeah it does depend, but to be honest I can’t really see bowser jr being older than 13.

This is amazing.
Do if Bowser in the movie was charged for his crimes
Actually, the first 7 Bowser fights in the original Super Mario Bros were just his minions in disguise. So Bowser would only get 1 count of aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for that game. The same applies with the first 2 Bowser fights of Super Mario 3D Land, which would mean that Bowser would only get 2 charges of aggravated assault and arson for that game, because there are 2 fights with the real Bowser. Also, in the main game of 3D World, he's guilty of several charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault, and possible murder.
But the 7 minions were sent on Bowser's behalf meaning that he was in on the assault
There's been some things I could argue, primarily about the extras.
Most of the extras are the potential for him to kill the same person (Mario) and you can't really kill someone more than once (And if Mario losing a life counts as killing him, you'd have to calculate the max amount of lives Mario could die to Bowser with, which is essentially infinite.) On top of that, you can play some of these games co-op and Bowser can potentially kill everyone else that joins in co-op too.
A lot more of the Bowser fights could also be considered -kidnapping- false imprisonment and/or attempted murder, as during a good portion of them he's seemingly waiting for/approaches Mario and then proceeds to trap him in the room with him before attacking him.
Mario, Luigi and other characters could also be potentially considered law enforcement, since they're at around the same level of authority as any of the toad guards you see in the series and seemingly face no punishment for breaking into any of Bowser's castles or other property, which means extra punishment for doing things to them and adds in things like obstruction of justice.
- And lastly, there's still other things to cover, like some of the Mario RPG's and the Mario Movie
If Mario walks into the room, with violent intent mind you, then closing the door behind him is hardly kidnapping. And Mario is more of a soldier than law enforcement given he goes across national borders.
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned child endangerment, with having his kids fight Mario.
And to think that throughout ALL these games Bowser never actually attempted to kill Peach but merely kidnap her, and only officially tried to deliberately kill Mario once. Despite how terrible he is throughout the games, gotta respect the specific line he won't cross.
Also, kudos to Mousait for the dedication and time put into crafting this video with the need to play 15+ Mario games! Dedication to the highest degree!
I'm 90% sure Bowser does much worse things to Peach

I'm surprised Bowser didn't get "Child Endangerment/Neglect/Abuse" charge, as he constantly sends the Koopalings (and Bowser Jr.) to fight Mario, expecting them to do what he can not.
He trust them also they can take care of themselves also the kooplines are fine but yeah he did do way more but still bowser cares for his son
The koopalings probably are at least teenagers/young adults from what we've seen in the rpg games.
Not to mention the charges involved in the fan theory that Peach is the mother of the koopalings
Lmao that is the exact opposite of how bowser works, 1. The Koopalings are high millitary officers, the only like actual child is Larry and Larry is a pre-teen. But a pre-teen that can legally work at that.
Second. 2: Jr is a tyrant prince, thats over 200 by technicality as he's present in both galaxy games. And even when he wasn't he was commiting crimes to warrant mario's self defense.
3: He legit sends the koopalings to guard certain things, they fight the second mario enters.
@@TheKoopaKingBowser teaching his children to do this kind of thing would most likely be considered illegal
One thing I would like to say about the first Super Mario Bros game, the first seven Bowser fights are actually standard enemies pretending to be Bowser, and you don’t actually fight him until the very end of the game. For that reason he should only get one aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge, but all eight kidnapping charges since it was still him that locked all the Toads and Peach up
Wait... if Bowser has a restraining order now. Does this mean he gets an extra to his penalties every new game he kidnaps Peach?
Yes, that’s right.
"Guilty as charged!" 🚨👮⚖
I would add to this list of never ending Bowser crimes
theft - throughout the series he tends to forcefully take power stars or other powerful items against the owners will
potential child labour - now, this might sounds confusing at first but if you think about it, Bowser does have a few kids or seemingly very young people fighting alongside him getting into dangerous situations, such as Bowser Jr. or the Koopalings
also whatever destroying the whole universe falls under lmao
Regicide - in some games Bowser is the main antagonist and Peach is playable (such as Super Mario 3D World), Bowser tries to kill her. Even though we never see the king and the queen of the Mushroom kingdom, the former being only mentioned in Super Mario Bros’ manual, we’ll pretend Peach is a monarch. Sometimes, Bowser can successfully kill Peach, so yeah. Bowser’s 100% toasted now.
Corruption of a Child for Bowser Jr. And the Koopalings depending on how old they actually are!
Also all the treasured items he stole in odyssey.

A little originality is really cool !
This would've been even more interesting if you included the Mario RPG games, especially Bowsers Inside Story!
Because eating your enemies is cannibalism which is indeed a crime
The issue with that though is most of the possible crimes there would be done by the player since most battles are avoidable and the ones that are not would be self defense. That being said, eating everyone at the start would probably count as attempted murder (not cannibalism since he is a different species), property damage on the castle, I don't quite know what punching a sentient fountain gets you (probably some kind of property damage + a minor assault charge as he didn't know it was alive), a ridiculous amount of arson and property damage, lots of aggravated assault and 1st degree murder since leveling is basically necessary, stealing from defeated enemies (this charge would depend on the playthrough for the amount). Maybe more but that's the bare minimum I can think of.
@@madden8021 But that was orchestrated by Fawful, so he wouldn’t be at fault.
@@picklerick2861I wonder how long a “mandatory battles only” run would take, since one of the most iconic features of the Mario & Luigi series is how every attack can be avoided or countered.

I'd love to see a defense attorney (is that how it would even be called?) building a case to defend the villains.
I feel like a lot of times the best they could hope for is a plea deal, reduced charges or a reprieve. Some villains may get off the hook just because it would be so hard to prove anything. That would be a great sequel series.
The fact it takes until Odyssey and 22 previous kidnappings to get a restraining order from the forced marriage attempt cracks me up.
Plus, did I miss it, or did we not cover Super Princess Peach when Bowser kidnapped Mario and Luigi just to spice things up?
he doesn't count spin-offs
Crimes forgotten: You forgot the crimes relating to Bowser kidnapping Yoshi and his friends in Super Mario World. This would be mass hostages and he can get some child abuse charges because at the end of the game, we see that the Baby Yoshis were trapped in each of the eggs and once Bowser was defeated, the seal was broken. And while it was offscreen, in SMB1, Bowser transformed the mushroom retainers into bricks, which has to be some sort of crime. He also traps the Toads behind walls in Super Mario 64. In SM64DS, he kidnaps Mario, Luigi, and Wario, so those are three kidnappings. In 3D World, he kidnapped the Sprixies which are living beings that can think for themselves. Not sure if Yoshi's Island should be in this video since it's not part of the Super Mario series.
EDIT: He also told his children to transform the kings into various creatures which would be multilation and probably usurping the throne.
I'm a bit iffy of the fake Bowsers should carry the same crime but I guess you can argue Bowser conspired with his minions to help him. Also, I'm sure Bowser would've gotten the death penalty already for kidnapping a monarch. I'm also betting that Bowser would be risking some crimes regarding child endangerment with Bowser Jr. Not sure if you could count the Koopalings, since they are retconned to be his minions and there is only detail of them being his children in two game manuals and some game guides.
Yoshi's Island is officially "Super Mario Bros 2: Yoshi's Island", so, I mean...
Exactly
@@TheShinyFeraligatr No, it's Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Beyond that, many official Nintendo sources don't list this game as a Super Mario game. As I said, it's a bit subjective.

I’ll take care of it! Take note that I’m excluding Rosalina for obvious reasons.
14 kidnappings. (Two for each Sprixie Princess.)
1 theft. (I know the Super Bell is an object from the Sprixie Kingdom, but I’m pretty sure Bowser stole it.)
9 first degree attempted murders/9 first degree murders (Mario, Luigi and Blue Toad. He fights them three times. 3 x 3 = 9)
3 Attempted regicides/regicides (Princess Peach. She’s in the exact same boat as the other playable characters, except it’s slightly worse as she’s a princess.)
2:25 that laugh
When you think about it, Bowser has come back from the dead multiple times throughout the series, so if Jr brings him back after he's been executed, they'll have to catch him again, and execute him...three more times, assuming the Koopa family has access to the body each time.

A few notes.
1 - They are only war crimes if you lose the war (which in canon he does, but could remove a few life sentences in "extra" which is scenarios he wins)
2 - Super Mario Bros. the first 7 fights aren't bowser, just minions disguised as him, though he presumably ordered them to do so.
3 - Bowser is a monarch, there are many times the monarch is above certain/all laws, it's likely within his own castle/kingdom attempting to/murdering Mario is legal or it could be framed as killing an intruder/enemy of the state. Though when in the Mushroom Kingdom he still has valid charges.
4 - In Super Mario world he also kidnaps Yoshi in addition to Peach, then puts him in an egg (which he seems relieved to be out of when you save him), so that is kidnapping + torture.
One thing: A lot of the charges you gave to Bowser came when Mario broke into his castle to fight him. Even though Bowser did kidnap Princess Peach, Mario breaking into Bowser's castle to retrieve her could be considered breaking and entering, making Bowser attacking him be classified as self defense. A lot of Bowser's potential life sentences would also be removed if that is the case since Bowser would be killing Mario in self defense.
When you break into a criminal's house with the intent to kill them, I think it's fair to say that the criminal fighting back against you isn't them assaulting you.
Any thoughts?
Maybe Mario is counted as a law enforcement officer
@@alvaro4996 True, but if that were the case he would still need a warrant to go into Bowser's castle, which you never see him obtain. It would also be strange for him to go alone if that were the case. You'd expect there to be multiple officers since it's a kidnapping situation.
@@ultimatememe3586 It's a war. Bowser shouldn't have been charged for attacking Mario at all lol because they're at war, he shouldn't be charged for most of his kidnapings of peach neither as it's a war. HOWEVER, he turns Toads to bricks, enslaves them in paper jam, blows up civilians towns, tried to take over the universe and other war crimes which is what he should be charged for.
Mario is acting in defense of another person, so maybe that why Bowser was still charged?
If bowser kidnaps a big leader like princess peach then i think thatd count as war, so mario breaking in to save her and bowser getting in the way would result in no charges for either of them, prolly

Destroying a kingdom you're at war with isn't a war crime, it's just war. This was an interesting one ngl. Very cool. You should do this with other video game characters
At around the time of 8:30 technically you left out grand larceny because of the star
I'd like to see Eggman get charged next. He'd probably have more interesting charges like when he attempted to nuke a city.
He pissed on the moon, he tried to murk sonic repeatly, literally all of sonic unleashed happens due to eggman, in sonic cd we can count the damage that eggman causes to the enviroment, arson in angel island, eggman will have a real big sentence (+ Extras)
I like how Bowser goes from conquering space to just kidnapping princesses again
4:34
No turning back now!
Let’s not forget the multiple crimes of grand larceny he commits in Odyssey - stealing a wedding dress, a national treasure, etc. also, kidnapping Tiara.
This one is very unique. I wonder if there will be more video game villains charged like Sephiroth, Ganondorf, & K. Rool.
Sephiroh and ganon gets the death penalty and king k rool will get 64 years in prison
Do Kefka, Garland, Golbez, Cloud Darkness and Ultimecia
Why not Andross as well? I might be an expert on this franchise, it’s a whole other story with the crimes. But I’m telling you: when it comes to war crimes, he’s a professional. (We’ll focus on his crimes in all of the Star Fox games, except Star Fox Assault, Star Fox Command, Star Fox Guard and Starlink: Battle for Atlas, as he doesn’t do any crimes in those games. Actually, he doesn’t appear physically in Assault, Guard and BfA. Also, Star Fox 64/Lylat Wars will only be counted once, because unlike Mario 64 DS, SF643D has the same scenario as the N64 game. However, Zero will get included.)

0:56 Bowser actually fights Mario only once in SMB, the first seven Bowsers are actually enemies disguised in the from of a Bowser, you could see that clearly when you kill them and they transform into enemies
also you didn't count Fury Bowser and 3DW Bowser
@@chazzywaz Welp kinda
4:50 BRO THATS GRAND LARCENCY
5:35 Bowser also kinda uses intimidation when speaking to him
In SMB 1, it’s actually only one count and it’s the very last bowser. The other “bowsers” are actually imposters and they’re just Bowser’s minions disguised as him. The real bowser is the one in 8-4. So I guess instead of 8 charges, he should only get one.
I’d love to see more recurring video game villains like Ganon and Dr. eggman charged for their crimes

Bowser isn't the one shooting those rockets. That's Bowser Jr, from his mini sub.

It's not manslaughter when killing Mario is the intended goal.
0:38 to note, Bowser turned most of the toads into blocks meaning he gets a mass mutilation charge
Death sentence
1:33 Bowser is also an accomplice to any crimes the Koopalings committed, which is most of the ones he committed. 7 counts of accomplice to theft, aggravated assault, and extra first degree murder, at least
Didn't the Adventures of Super Mario Bros 3 episode 7 Continents for 7 Koopas had the Koopalings perform hostile take over to the entire Earths 7 continents "including Antarctica which nobody lives on but scientist, researchers and people studying outter space"
They can get juvenile detention and be charged as an adult for hostile takeover.
@@madden8021 Perhaps, but that's the TV show, and since this is purely talking about the games, it's irrelevant
A few games, and details in already listed games I noticed you forgot in this video...
1. In the original Super Mario Bros, you only fight the real Bowser once. The others are just minions in disguise. Regardless, they are acting under his command. So he likely still gets a charge as a result.
2. Super Mario Bros the lost levels (Japanese Mario Bros 2) is more or less the same song and dance as SMB1, except;
*His brother, currently only known as Blue Bowser, also fights you in 8-4, along with real Bowser
*There's an extra world 9 also with fake Bowsers, likely acting on his behalf as well
* As well as lettered worlds A, B, C, and D, with D-4 also having you fight Blue Bowser and Real Bowser once again.
Worlds 9, A, B, and C all have toads kidnapped as well, and somehow, Peach is kidnapped again in D-4, so he gets an extra kidnap charge for each one.
3. In Super Mario Bros. 3, Bowser's koopalings each take over one of the 7 other kingdoms in the game, likely as a diversion while he kidnaps the princess. So technically, he conspired to World Domination.
4. In Super Mario World, Bowser's koopalings set up fortresses in dinosaur land and kidnap 7 unhatched Yoshi eggs, and even put a spell of sorts to trap adult Yoshis inside of eggs in question mark blocks. So that's 7 more kidnap charges, and for every Yoshi egg stuck in a block, a false imprisonment charge as well.
5. In Super Mario 64, all the Toads in the castle are trapped within the castle walls, unable to leave. So for each toad, that could count as either a kidnap charge, and/or a false imprisonment charge.
5. In Super Mario Sunshine, Bowser Jr takes the appearance of Shadow Mario, as to frame Mario for crimes such as defacing public property (graffiti) and "threatening the pianta's way of life". Additionally, Jr actually attempted to kidnap Peach 1 other time before he succeeded.
While there are also Yoshis in this game trapped in eggs till you bring the right fruit, they are actually made with the same paint that created many other enemies in the game, so they don't count to any sort of kidnap or false imprisonment charge, as they aren't real.
6. In New Super Mario Bros. on DS, Bowser technically serves one of his hypothetical death sentences, since he technically died in the first castle. But he then proceeds to somehow break the laws of nature itself by coming back as an undead skeleton as Dry Bowser, and then came back to life proper after his son threw his skeletal remains into a cauldron pot. So while he could've technically served one of his hypothetical life or death sentences from this, it may not count as for all we know, him coming back as a skeleton and back to normal, could've very well been planned.
7. In NSMBWii, The Koopalings and Junior use a cake as a false present to invade the castle and perform the kidnapping. I don't know what exact crime that would count as, but I'd imagine it be the same as the Trojan horse more or less.
8. In Mario Galaxy 2, Bowser's planet at the center of the universe is actually trying to suck up energy from a nearby comet, which later turns out to be Rosalina's comet observatory. This could count as 2 sentences of Grand Larceny. One for the stars of the various galaxies he visited, and the other for trying to take it directly from Rosalina.
9. NSMB2 on 3DS could technically have a second count of Bowser commiting arson and assault, but not kidnapping, since you can fight Dry Bowser in World ⭐-🏰 (Secret world btw). However this may not actually count, since not only has he not kidnap Peach in this castle after the main story, but the Dry Bowser in this game may not even be the real Bowser, since there are times in which both Normal Bowser and Dry Bowser both appear at the same time as separate characters. Regardless, since Bowser previously had fake Bowsers acting on his behalf, and a brother also taking action, we could count the 2 charges under extras since it's from a bonus world with no impact on the main story.
10. In 3D land, it's found that after beating Bowser in the main game, that his minions actually kidnapped Luigi in special world 1. However, like NSMB2, not only is it an optional bonus, but you again fight Dry Bowser, (multiple times if you go through all 8 special worlds) but its still not clear if it's undead Bowser, or a different person from Bowser. So maybe add the Luigi kidnap charge to the extras instead of main charges. Namely because Luigi still appears in future games regardless of being rescued in this one.
11. In 3D world, both the original version on Wii U and the Switch port, Bowser actually kidnaps 7 sprixie princesses (twice), who he uses the power of to build a large amusement park kingdom. He also had lines of tanks and trains fitted with weapons and soldiers around the different worlds, and hired circus like bosses to attempt to stop Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Peach from progressing further. So in that game, he gets either 7 or 14 kidnap charges, 2 assaults with weapons (soccer bombs during world 1 and world 7 fights)a regular assault since the cat bell and double cherry are magic in nature, and thus may not count as weapons persay. And for extras, the murder charge is technically times 4 since he's technically fighting all 4 from a story standpoint. (It could technically be 5 since Rosalina also appears as a secret playable character in the game, but you only really need to play as her in the previous levels for an all levels stamp.)
12. In Super Mario Maker 2, there is actually a story mode. In the story, Bowser and Bowser Jr actually created levels, (while under anonymous names) with the express intent of harming Mario. Whatever crimes accur in those levels likely count as extras since for the most part, they are optional, as other levels are available. However, around the end of the game, Bowser actually kidnaps Toadette, which once again lands him "the Bowser trio" of charges. (Everything in this game however may not count as it's technically not a mainline Mario game)
13. In odyssey, Bowser should technically have multiple assault charges for attacking both Mario, and by extension, Cappy, in both the sea of clouds fight, as well as having a dragon under his control attack them as well. Also he, and the Broodals, who he hired as wedding planners(and also attacked Mario and Cappy), have committed multiple counts of grand larceny from stealing various artifacts from the different kingdoms, and his kidnap charge counts as 2, since the tiara he gave to Peach in this game is actually Cappy's sister.
I can understand not including the RPG game like Paper Mario and Mario and Luigi, since they aren't part of the main series, and Bowser isn't the final boss in most of those games, as well as the various remakes such as the Advance series, and Super Mario 64 DS since they are just remakes of the previous games. But man, those last 2 in particular felt glossed over.
Finally someone that remembers the first time Dry Bowser kidnapped someone!
2:43 the "power of the stars" whatever that means.
Accurate.
Can you sentence more Illumination villains such as Jimmy Crystal, Belle Bottom and the Vicious Six, and Bowser? If you're wondering, yes. Bowser has committed a lot of crimes in The Super Mario Bros. Movie as well.
kidnapping × 3
bro stole the entire castle
5:10
The Captain Toad, his crew and Luigi were in the castle too!
OK plenty of flaws here
General:Mario entered the property illegally so killing Mario could be considered self-defense. The exact punishment should be something greater since in most cases Bowser is kidnapping a Head of State (Peach)
SMB1: All of the Bowsers except the last one are fake
Lost Levels: Not mentioned, but if you include the letter worlds you may possibly end up with another charge.
SMW: As this is on his own property and it does not do any damage, the first would not county as arson
SM64: With stealing the castle, it could probably be equivalent to larceny over government property given that the property belongs to the head of state.
Sunshine: Bowser Jr did the kidnapping but the arson would not count as it doesn't do any notable damage.
NSMB: Bowser Jr does the kidnapping. No precedent exists for when Bowser commits crimes as a skeleton or resurrects. If by this point Bowser had gotten a life or death sentence, I would have dropped one as "Sentence Served" and played Baby Blue.
Galaxy 1: Two normal kidnapping charges and one for a head of state. Stomp into space bits sounds like intent to murder.
NSMBW: The arson is on his own property and does no damage. Bowser could also end up killing Luigi, Blue Toad, and Yellow Toad.
3D Land: The first two bowsers are fakes and all the arson is on his own property
NSMB2: The Koopalings do the kidnapping and damage Mario and Luigi. The arson is yet again on his own rightfully owned property. However, Bowser can also kill Luigi at the same time as Mario
NSMBU: Attacking Peach's Castle is a violent crime of sorts against the head of state's real estate. This time the arson is actually arson since Bowser doesn't rightfully own the castle. And Bowser can kill 4 players.
3D World: The base game is skipped, but Bowser does 7 kidnappings over a seeming collective head of state. You fight bowser 3 times in this game, and can kill 4 players.
And who knows what would be added if the Mario Party games and RPGs were added on top

Would be interesting to see other video game villains be charged, such as Ganondorf. With him tho, an interesting dilemma would be: is he liable for crimes he commits while he is Ganon, his beast/monster form. Typically, he seems to not have control of himself in the form (although exceptions may apply, like in TP), however he typically willingly goes into this form, such as in OoT, but not always (OoX and ALBW).
Here’s a short list of things I thought of on the spot that he’s done (probably missing a lot). Also no TotK here, haven’t done everything in that game, no spoilers please.
OoT:
Murder (Deku Tree)
Assaulting a minor (throws a magic ball at young link when he’s chasing Zelda)
Grand Larceny (stealing Triforce, probably also counts as treason given the Triforce’s importance)
Murder x unknown number (likely kills many Hylian citizens, but no way to find number apart from the the redeads in castle town)
Usurping the throne
Kidnapping (Zelda)
TP:
Prior convictions (sentence: death)
Murder (Probably second degree) (Water Sage)
Usurping the Throne x2 (Techically Zant does this but pretty sure Ganondorf would be charged as well)
WW:
Assaulting a minor (Link, at FF)
Kidnapping x4 (probably way more but the only ones we are aware of are Links sister, Zelda, and those two girls on windfall.
Death penalty at will!
that would be great to see he probably has the most war crime charges, hell brainwashing too...

I don't know what the formal name for such a charge would be, but I'm pretty sure in Sunshine he could also be prosecuted for lying to his son about Peach being his mom and commanding him to kidnap her on his behalf.
Lying to Junior itself wouldn't be a crime, and I don't think it's canon that Bowser actually commanded Jr. to kidnap Peach in Sunshine, just says that Mario kidnapped her, which motivates Jr. to take her "back". However, Jr. might be charged as an accessory to kidnapping, depending on how old you interpret him being.
Also, how do you know that Peach isn't Bowser Jr's mother? Huh?
