- On Thursday March 28th The Omaha Zoo Railroad Announced that it would be operating trains from Friday - Sunday due to the Great Weather So Far! In This Video we take a look at OZRR 104 in it's new paint job as it operates some of the first runs of the Spring Season. Thanks for Watching! Killer train for a zoo ride !!
Yeah, it's been getting better and better! Unfortunately I didn't get to ride the train after I was done filming because right after I got a heads up about an unexpected UP heritage unit leading so right after the last shot in the video I immediately left the zoo and headed out to the UP mainline where I may have caught something special (video coming soon)

The CFR 104 looks great! Still not a huge fan of the squealing whistle but it’s always nice to have a locomotive like this hear in the states.
Yeah, I wasn't a fan of 104 at all during my childhood all because of the whistle but at least it's something different.
Nice, looks like they may have repainted that engine, but its hard to tell
Thanks! Yes they did repaint it so that it would appear as it did back in 1890 from what I've heard.
