I use oil paint gamblin and don't what oil paint brushes that are easy to clean and takes less time.? Artists loft canvas or premiere canvas by blick art store. ?
Hi Thekappa1844, I also use Gamblin paint and use hogs hair brushes by Robert Simmons, Rosemary and Silver Brush. As for canvas, I haven’t used either that you mention but recommend you try several and see what surface you like best. Basically, you have two things to consider…1. Cotton or linen and 2. Acrylic or Oil primed. The combinations result in very different working conditions. I prefer oil primed linen, which is not absorbent. Good luck!
I'm looking for oil paint brushes that Bristles on the paint brushes that won't leave brush stroke on the canvas ? Recommendation.
Hi there! The softer the hair or filament, the smoother the brushstroke. Try Silver Brush Company’s, Silverwhite line. Princeton’s Aspen line or Trekell’s Legion line of brushes. Let me know if you like them!
