Jim Croce was another of those who crept through my self-imposed popular music exile. I always loved his music. Jeff does a wonderful job on interpreting this song. Good time and good music.
Yes, indeed! So many great singer/songwriters in the 70s in just about all genres. I could spend most of the day listening to Cat Stevens, James Taylor, John Denver, Joan Baez, Carly Simon, Kris Kristofferson, Tom Waits and on and on! I think Geoff has covered many of the folks I just listed! ❤️
Even when he is singing about the criminal element, he is so entertaining!! I'm old enough to have been an adult when the original was released, it was everyone's favorite. Love Geoff's version, but then he hasn't done anything that I didn't love.

I think I have a few of his albums but I can't remember. I have hundreds of vinyls so I can't remember but I'm pretty sure I do. I'm not familiar with Home Free. I know of Destiny's Child but not any music so that might be a good video to check out. Thank you! ❤️❤️
Amazing! Honestly, I don't know of one song that Geoff has done that wasn't amazing. He must have a big voice box and extra-long and thick vocal cords to achieve these ultra-low notes, LOL! What is also amazing is that all the notes that he sings are perfectly on-key.

Always a big fan of the Christopher Reeve Superman but I can't say I'm familiar with Brandon Routh. I'll have to look that up. I follow director James Gunn who is now co-CEO of DC and is currently working on an all-new Superman franchise. He's a great writer and director and a total comic book nerd so it should be great! I think Big Jim was Big Bad John's second cousin twice removed 😁
@@BemusingBill Brandon Routh was in a rather bad movie called Superman Returns. He also played "The Atom" in the Legends of Tomorrow TV show, from the Arrowverse, among other roles. He's a good actor, and very handsome and charming. He also looks a lot like Christopher Reeve as Superman.
