Sadly enough, no one really wants these jobs. They're so short staffed that they'll hire anyone. A lot of staff are up for retirement and others just quit. Can't bring them in as fast as they are leaving.

And then the people they do hire have a good clean record but they are easily influenced by the prisoners and get in trouble bringing in contraband and end up in prison themselves. When they hire a new employee they take them to the wall of shame and show them all the employees who have been arrested.

I worked 10 years in the Texas Correctional system. We all had to have a Mental evaluation before we could even start our training And believe me, a lot of people got denied. Apparently they don't do this in Georgia.

Those missing men might be missing because Mom is making it impossible for Dad to see his children. You may not know this, but the less interaction Dad is allowed the more child support Mom gets and the more federal matching dollars the court gets. Like in most cases, just follow the money. The first woman was out of line and the service of the TRO would have been invalid. You cannot serve your own TRO. The other woman needs to be at home being a mother to her five children. The sheriff was there to serve the TPO, she showed to to identify the Defendant which will cause drama but doesn’t make service invalid.
