I will take you to the boarder with the Netherlands and show you a store that is split in half , and after that some relaxing at the water. First of all, congrats with the relaxing vlogs and your sense of humour, don't spend energy and attention on negative people, life is too short.
Travelling with the motor could be inspiring for us, all information regarding motorcycles could be interesting for us, trying to find nice tours road / off road tours / there is a huge potential, a course to improve our technique on the motor for safer riding / maintenance of the motor
Yep "safe" riding , offroad riding and much more is in my planning as well 😌🙏
I started watching for the Beemer content, but ended up getting a lot of good info about social media as well. Good to know that my new BMW can double as a heater for sausage rolls! I wonder if it comes with a coffee maker? Seriously enjoyable video - thankyou. 😄

Personally I’m a new rider with the goal to buy a new R1300 GS when it comes. For me as a new rider I like to see every adventure a GS can do all over the world and in all terrain 😊
A GS can do everything but if you get it stuck with that weight and you are alone you are gonna be in trouble 😁. But epic bike for sure!

Smokey I like your videos and your humor. I think a weekend trip to Italy would be fun. There would be amazing roads and a lot to enjoy. Maybe a visit to the Ducati factory near Bologna…. Happens to be a beautiful place on earth.
Talked to Ducati and they will arrange everything for me just like you said so it's in my planning. Have to figure out what bike I can get as they are selling the press fleet right now as it will be soon replaced with the new stuff 😌

The 900 GS is coming Februari or something , even after the new 1300GS 😅🙈 It was launched but delivery date is way longer as planned.

Hello I would like to ask you if you considered GSA standard seat for 184 cm height and 95 kg and 32 inseam I drove standard gs and I didn’t have any problem with seat.

Any chance to review the Triumph Tiger 1200? would love it. I am hesitating between three motorcycles 1290 KTM adventure r, Tiger 1200 rally or the 1250GSA.

My 2020 1250 gsa has been at the dealer since may. First the key was draining the key battery. Got it fixed, took just 5 weeks. And when I picked up the bike my sos system was failing. Has now been at the dealer since that. About 6 weeks now. They still don’t know what the problem is. Getting tired of the gs. But I love the bike when it works. Thinking of swapping it for a new s1000r now.
From a GSA to a S1000R is a big change 😁. I like the comfort haha , might be getting old 😅
@@LifeofSmokey hehe well I’m not sure I will buy one 😂 might getting old too. I went from a 2014 s1000r to the GSA. And I love the bike. Nothing is more fun to leave the racing bikes behind me in the Norwegian twisties 😂. Just really tired of having it at the dealer for months

The quick shifter on the 1250gs has room for improvement. If you are careful about how you use it then it can be quite smooth but if you aren't careful it's pretty rough. Hope the new bikes fix that. From reviews the BMW sports bikes have a much better quick shifter so they know how to do it.
Oh yeah the racebikes and the RT for example are way smoother. On the S1000RR you can even set how aggressive your feet needs to be for racing. I couldn't shift the bike with my Nike's on or it would hurt my toe 😅. When I set it to road it was no problem. They can do it but the shifting feeling is what makes a GS a GS , it's typical.
Such a shame, we can always hope BMW fixes it. It's the only common complaint I hear from other GS owners@@LifeofSmokey
I enjoy your vids being a motorcycle rider myself. But, I have a question. What is the reasoning behind the volume levels of your intro and some of the little video snips you insert sounding much louder than your speaking volume?
I’d love to see your motorcycle trips. Living in the US, I enjoy seeing people abroad take those trips.

Yep it will come to the stores even later as the new GS 1300 , the GS 900 will be available Februari or something , new 1300 GS November right after the launch. 😌

Hey Smokey! Great video, great honesty and great tips. Don’t worry about the a&seh@les who write rubbish. As you said, you enjoy what you’re doing and ultimately, no-one HAS to watch you. To be honest with you, the idea that the GSA is perfect, appeals to me. I bought an RT, but having ridden the GSA a few weeks ago when my bike was in for service, I wish I’d bought the GSA. I’m going to run my RT for a year or so, until the 1300 has everything ironed out, and then I’ll buy the GSA. By the way, banging your shins on the cylinders isn’t a thing on the RT because they’re faired in….making it sh!t to clean easily!
I have the RT at home right now as we speak 😁👌. Outside radio , crazy loud horn....kinda like it but it's a bit of a boat to ride 😂
@@LifeofSmokey It’s easy to ride but not GSA easy, it’s not as balanced. The wide bars on the GSA and the seating position make everything more relaxed.
The horn is great on the RT, yes, the GSA sounds like a Fiat Seicento from the late 90s…peep peep! The RT is a “fuck off out of the way!” Take the panniers off the RT, bung it in dynamic and if it’s hot the akrapovic on, it sounds pretty good.
I was disappointed with your hill climb….I expected to see you trash the press GSA on the hill!….kidding!
