Good job!!! I also pull from floor to hip. You know like at angle. Like cranking a lawnmower. But I'm sure it's more than one way to perform this movement. I also utilize the dumbell rack (standing in a higher position). Each range of motion targets different areas (muscles) of the back.

man your planet fitness has way better back machines than mine. all I got is horizontle rows and unilateral lat pull down machine (meaning you can do one arm at a time)... which is kind of cool, but I like the pull down row thing that you got

Ive only been doing cable machines and never used dumbbells much as it has been intimidating also cuz thats the one section always full lol, so seeing all your videos on different body parts really help in giving me an idea of the forms and techniques. Thanks bro!

Good stuff. Planet fitness is all I have availability right now. Was kinda bummed that the dumbless only go to 75lbs and only smith machine for bench, but I see you snd others make it work so so will i. In jail we were able to get swoll so planet fitness is good for me

WavvyFitness thanks for the reply...yeah it's cool, I use to be with LA Fitness but I work for myself and found myself being there too long with all the amenities. I went back to what I know which is working out at home and in the park, and lost 11lbs, so now PF is just what I need to get in and out.
Love your videos! I always feel awkward trying to decide what machines too use while at the gym, so i like watching these to have a guideline/plan of what to do.

@@WavvyFitnessdo you do each exercise in sequence for set 1, or do all sets together per exercise? For example, i want to do dumbell back exercise , do i do all 3 sets then move on or do dumbells, machines, pulleys as set 1 then do it in order again for set 2, set 3? hope this makes sense lol Also, is it ok to work in chest routine, and shoulder routine all in one day?

so i got a question bro cause i do lower then upper then lower on my days so does back workout/chest/arms should be hit on same day? since its considered a upper body or do you hit a full day of arms and chest then do back and shoulders on another upperday
When I first started I did a full day of each , just to focus on form then when I felt confident that I had it down packed I would do upper lower or a push pull split

The first machine looks like the seated row machine and the second machine looks like the lat pull down
These workouts videos have been helpful but I could still use some tips with nutrition and stuff
cook your own food, and I don't mean pizza pockets. cook oatmeal,eggs, rice, chicken, potatoes,and veggies.
get 2500 calories. eat your body weight in protein, and 1.5x-2x your weight in carbs. Hot the gym 5x a week, and include cardio.
Is there a way to do a back workout without a machine I just have dumbbells

I don't understand why there are so many videos where they're hating on Planet fitness because they don't offer heavy free weights. I see you're fit and so it's possible.

But you've seen videos of bashing PF. I'm like then go to another gym. Not all people wanna be bodybuilders, so why shame them for wanting to lose weight and tone up. Ya know?

No disrespect to Zach Levi, but check out his CZcams video of him getting ready for his Movie Shazam. His bent over rows need to be like the ones in this video. He does not use proper form like in this video and he pays a trainer a lot of money 💰and is using bad form. Watching that video makes you appreciate when you have advanced to a point in your training where you use a lighter weight to keep good form, and not one that is too heavy and you are just throwing it around.🙀

Not trying to be rude but this has been your least helpful video. You didn't time stamp anything and you didn't bother naming any of the equipment.
I have had these for several weeks czcams.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 and I have been really happy with them so far. I love being able to do a variety of workouts at home when I don't have time to make it to the gym. When paired with a basic bench, there are tons of different exercises and you can hit pretty much all major muscle groups. It is easy to adjust to your desired weight with the dials on each side. They slide in and out of the cradle smoothly. The only downside to this design vs the newer version, is that these are pretty wide. This does limit your range of motion with certain hand positions on certain exercises. Straight dumbbell press would be an example of this. I have to turn my hands slightly in order to bring them close enough together. Not a huge deal to me though. Really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.
