  • Denali is GMC's line of fully-loaded luxury SUVs and trucks. In this episode of the AutoNation New Car Test Drive, we take a look at the GMC Sierra 1500 Denali 4WD with the large 6.2-liter V8 engine. Can it mix both style and substance?
    The 2016 GMC 1500 Denali 4WD boasts all of the luxurious accents you would expect from the Denali line. An over-sized chrome grill complements LED treatment on the headlights, and the interior is full of technological innovations to make your drive even easier. The front row features leather accents and contrast stitching, as well as heated and cooled seats.
    Dual-zone climate control, adjustable pedal placement, and a spacious second row all add to the impressively lavish interior of the 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. This Sierra 1500 has a 6.2-liter V8 engine as its heart, which offers 420-horsepower and 460-lbft of torque. A tow hitch, rear view camera, and a lined bed keep this truck as usable as it is sophisticated.
    The 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali perfectly combines the comfort and innovation of a car with the durability and strength of a truck. A truck for all seasons, the 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali is waiting at an AutoNation GMC dealership [autonation.com/find-a-store/brand/gmc] near you.

    In my opinion. The Denali name + the looks + the Magnetic Ride Control makes this truck worth every penny

    This guy says first time he seen the auto 4wd in a truck, they been available since 1997 In the sierras/Silverado and suburban and tahoes and maybe even in the blazers of those same years

    well I love my 2015 F150 platinum. it has everything including rear a/c, massaging seats,floor shifter, panoramic moon roof,(not offered by GMC or Chevy) and it has power running boards,remote tailgate,forward facing camera's,GPS, and parking assist. GM borrowed all of that money from the government, and their interiors still fall short of Ford. even Chrysler has a leg up on GM in terms of their interiors. damn GM you keep sticking with the grand pa column shifter in every single half ton truck including the Escalade. what gives?

      Yeap, the F150 Platinum it`s better, even the RAM Limited.....

      The GMC has Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and it's bed won't be punctured by a toolbox you accidentally drop.

      +Dalton Hill lol yeah well that Comercial was corny. GM is still years behind Ford and Dodge on their interiors.

    best looking truck on the market by far, and unlike the F150 which costs over 68,000$ now this is actually a pretty good deal plus you're getting more real aluminum around the vents and wood. looks nice.

      This is a nice truck my dad has one, it's a great deal over the other brands, has everything you need and nothing else like Fords auto lowering tailgate from the key fob...

      @coureurdebois Před 8 lety +2

      Bill Dingo its just crazy that the cheapest truck now is the silverado and ram and the most expensive is the F150, a lot has changed for sure

    • @gmcdenali7178
      @gmcdenali7178 Před 8 lety

      Exactly. This can hit $68,000, especially with the Denali Ultimate Edition, but you can add alot of options before it hits that.

    • @coureurdebois
      @coureurdebois Před 8 lety

      George GMC Sierra Denali you would realllly have to slap on every single option even with the Ultimate PACKAGE (not edition) equipped that adds only 6K to the price and puts every single option on there.
      on the other hand the F150 limited starts a 59K while the Denali starts at 51K (both prices before options)

      I know. Let me try to custom build one and see how high I can get it. And, the HDs, I build a 3500 Denali HD that hit $70,000.

    Have they found a solution for the "Chevy Shake" yet that's been plaguing the 15-16 models?

    • @coureurdebois
      @coureurdebois Před 8 lety +6

      its far better than the F150's flexing frame and shaking chassis issues that PLAGUE their new pick up lines. but with the Denali you're getting magnetic ride which helps. good thing the chevy version is not as bad as the ford version.

      if you're willing to pay 70,000$ for a F150 then you can get them... on the other hand for near 20K less you can get higher quality leather, real aluminium, and magnetic ride on the Denali.

    I really fucking hate that displacement on demand bullshit they put on v8's these days. The lifters they use to go from 8 to 4cyl mode are terribly weak.

    are you rich and have nothing to do with your money , then this is the truck for you , are you an average mid class person who actually cares about your money but still wants a kick ass truck , then stride for the basic sierra
